Full Throttle at Assen TT: Track Day Bliss on my Hypermotard 950 SP

- After the long ride to get to Assen from UK and the camping overnight in the paddock, it was finally time to get on track and enjoy this lovely circuit.
This was the 2nd session of Day 1 on Monday 25th Sept 2023, where I was in Group C (Inters) and those new to the track were still learning to understand best gears and lines with a hope to improve the lap times slowly.
I'm still running the 14T front sprocket, so I was probably one gear down to many in most corners which caused the bike to be edgy and not smooth. Good news is when on track I don't get the gear position sensor error!

yep.. if there was someone who I could use as a guide similar pace that i could keep up with on the straights, i would have gone quicker

On those Turns Buddy How Low have you been Going and at what Speeds while taking them on??? Also how many kms/miles have the track tires lasted?
I don’t get my knee down.. its too high and im a midget. The speedo dash is in mph, and the slick tyres have lasted me 3 trackdays 🙏🏽

Its £400 for 2-days with NL.. no transport and no accomodation - hence slumming it in the paddock
Took the Hyper monday after your trackday to the Assen track. What was your best time? And can you please share your WC, ABS and TC-settings?
WC1, ABS1, TC2, Sport Mode on Slick Tyres.
Best time was a 2min 04 seconds

@@ErCoatto050 Takes time and practice.. I’ve done about 12 trackdays on the Hyper and learning each time

Mate did Oulton last week Gor the first time got down to 1:02 on a old zx6rr two lads on V4r sp2s were his target but left him for dead on straight sections 🤣🤣👍
