- Continuing my Track Videos on the Hyper, I had to do a day at the legendary Brands Hatch CP Circuit in Kent, London.
I was invited down by a fellow Hyper Rider Dave as this is his local track and we had such a fun day on these amazing bikes. The morning sessions were full of Red Flags (typical for Brands), but we had 3 clean afternoon sessions.
I've only ever done this track on my previous Yamaha R1 track bike with a 1 min 46 time.. and managed a best time on the Hyper of 1 min 49 seconds - not to Shabby!
Certainly surprised a few riders out there and had some great banter in the pits with some beautiful machines.

Great riding mate, when I lived in England, Brands Hatch GP circuit was one of my favorite tracks to ride. Has a bit if everything. Although it was always one of the more costly track days.
You do a great job of promoting the Ducati Hypermotard. Ducati should throw some swag your way....😊

Very nice and tidy by you Sir and smooth on a heavy lump too. Sheene is a funny one until you know your turn in point and trust it every lap, then it's a blast into Stirling which is sweet as candy with a little trail braking. BH is awesome both Indy and GP 👍🏻

Thanks for sharing, I enjoyed that! Just got my hypermotard, I’ve only been on it about five hours. I just broke my hand and fractured five ribs on my dirtbike, so going to have to wait a bit! Videos like this help me get through the drought… Brands Hatch looks particularly challenging for track with a simpler layout, would you agree?
Congrats on the Hyper and speedy recovery. The elevation/camber is different of every corner at Brands GP which makes it so easy to crash or run-off into the gravel - the Brands Indy circuit is smaller and less technical
You should get a motion censor above you garage so it warns you when people walk up. GoodLuck…
Some great lines there 👌 I got a Gen 3 Superduke for the road but gotta take it to the track soon.

Mandatory static noise tests?If we had such a measurement, there would be 5 motorbikes driving around the Slovakia ring 😅 Now I understand why you changed CR-T for S1.Brands Hatch looks like ideal circuit for Hypermotard 👍
Yeah.. its a problem here in UK with these rules and noise tests.. but you can make it work and the Hyper is just about right in terms of top speed and corner speed 🤘🏼

You had these pipes, the CRTs and now the Van demon. Which sounds the best?
If it's just Sound, then hands down is the VanDemon. But you have to factor in price, installation and modifications to get it to sing properly. Bang for Buck, the S1's is next best.

Max I got on track is about 138mph..
