I, Robber: A short film shot on the Sony Xperia 1 II

- We thought the best way to test the Sony Xperia 1 II's video capture, image quality and Cinema Pro app was to make a short film with it. So I wrote, shot and starred in the 4-minute film called I, Robber. Every shot was captured using the Xperia's Cinema Pro app and I had a blast doing it.
I, Robber was written, directed, starring, shot and cut by Patrick Holland.

haha! Nice short! This is literally the first time I've seen any mobile or any small sensor perform this well indoors period. The ECU shot of the crying eyes looked rather sharp and nice (also hilarious). This phone's cameras legit looks really good. FINALLY I'm interested in a phone again.
This was so good. I'm glad you showcased the strengths of the Xperia 1 ii in such format. Shows that you actually used the phone. Well done.

A great short film, that is so wonderful, so beautiful, so cute, and so fascinating.
If it weren't for the title shot with the X1 Mark II, I wouldn't think this was a short film shot by a phone.

The important thing was to make him think about making this.
You should set 24fps and double the number for exposure, if too bright use ND filter it for more cinematic look.. But this also good

Nice short but the video quality didn’t blow my mind. It still has that shot on smart phone look and feel to it. Maybe it’s the frame rate, maybe because it’s all shot indoor.
Even the hdr was off. I don't think he colour graded the video clips after shooting them with the phone

Strangely, I didn't find the phone's video quality to be exceptional. I believe my OP8 Pro can outperform this Sony phone.

It's up to you to control it lol...I don't think any phone can be like the real alpha camera lol, it least he can edit this more..that's the advantage of this phone compare to others.
Its HEVC, would be like 100mbps with AVC codec
