I always find it hilarious that a major plot point of the movie is Dr. Robotnik's analysis of Sonic's feet. Seems like subtle nod to "some" of the community.

As a lifelong Eggman fan, I'm kind of hoping Carrey dials himself back in Sonic 3. Felt like he leaned a bit TOO much into wacky territory for Sonic 2 compared to his more subdued performance in Sonic 1.
We can also put Robotnik's control gloves that are equipped with an infrared scanner, a holographic projector, a taser, a Internet hacker and as a way to control all his machines. Other thing are his red suits equipped with googles which were designed to stand every type of temperature and to regulate Robotnik's temperature body. Other machine made by Robotnik was Unit, a Badnik which evolved to the point of having self conscience. Altough Robotnik didn't build them, all of the Buyer's inventions were made by using parts of Robotnik's destroyed Badniks and Robotnik schematics during the time the Buyer worked for him like his giant mecha with whips and powered by Knuckles quills, the exoskeleton armors, the guns and the gloves empowered also by Knuckles quills and the portal rings thrower guns. Other thing that Robotnik didn't build himself, but was made through his instructions by Agent Stone was his technological lab inside the coffee shop.

In the third one, they just need to figure out a way to convincingly make him more round... then perfection has been achieved.
