She definitely is, Brad is coming around though, he feels it even if it doesn't show physically as much. People move different to music than others and that's okay.
There was about 10 years in the Texas and Germany tours where Chester had to ease up on the screaming due to a clogged airway in his lungs from all the strain on his vocal chords.

Brad, it was so good to see you smile ear to ear ! Lex rocking out with her mischievous little smile. So happy you guys liked it. ❤ Rap & Rock, who knew ?😂 Time to explore Rage against the machine now.
It’s all Black American music. Rock just came first, born from the Blues. Plenty of people knew. And honestly this really isn’t that far off from what LP was doing on their own. They could’ve done this project with plenty of other rappers. Mike’s been spitting for them since day one.

The making of collision course dvd HAS to be watched. I bet it's even available digitally now lol. I think Jay-Z was pleasantly surprised by how LP fans embraced him. I was a Lincoln park fan before the collab, but I became a Jay-Z fan after watching and listening to it. I realized how truly talented Jay-Z really is. Before that the only rap I was a fan of was Tupac and Wu. Probably pretty obvious I'm a 50 year old white gal 😂
Yeah this was an amazing ep. They just blended so well since Jay z knows how to ride a beat, and the energy of Linkin park really elevated it all as well. They blended each other's songs so well
Yeah, Linkin Park is one of the most iconic rock bands since the 90s. They have 11 number one hits on the alternative charts (just behind Green Day and the Red Hot Chili Peppers), and is the only band ever to have five number one hits on the alternative charts on a single album (their album Meteora)

It's so amazing how "Back in the Day" is now "Today" because of the internet and youtube! Yes, Brad rocks in his head and Lexi rocks like an explosion! That song had it all....heavy rock guitar, hard rap, and their killer rock-n-f/n-roll scream!! let s go!!!!
Fun fact about that concert: Mike said they polled their fan club about their music taste and gave out passes according to that essentially. Which is why the concert was so small but so hype. Because the fans there were fans of both LP and rap (or Jay Z and rap). And most of the songs from this album were specially re-recorded for this mash up.
@businesscatlimbo they gave out some of their 200 tickets to fans for free. Jay Z also had 200 tickets for his fans in his fan club just like Linkin Park did. The tickets were about a $1,000 per ticket and only available to members of their fan clubs. This was at the Roxy theater in Las Angeles CA and it had a 500 occupancy limit. So they only got 200 fans each since there was more people there than just the people who worked with Linkin Park and Jay Z. There were people from MTV Mashups show that only ever had 1 episode.

Great reaction guys! Someone has probs commented already, but if not, check out Collision Course - the documentary about how this collab came about, it’s only 45/50 mins and includes all 6 tracks they remixed. It was awesome, watching the Linkin Park boys getting super nervous, waiting for Jay to arrive! MTV had approached JayZ with the concept of doing a serious of mashups and wanted his to be the first ‘episode’, they asked him who he wanted to work with most in the industry and he said Linkin Park - who obviously jumped at the chance. Mike (guy that rapped Jays first verse, then played the ‘cop’ in the next part) is super talented and roughed out the remixes to send to Jay, I think they were supposed to do 1 or 2 tracks, but Jay liked what Mike had produced so much they ended up with 6 mashup tracks! This is my fav collab ever!!!
I'm sorry but there is no greater Rap/Rock band than LP. There will never be another LP. When you can blend two completely different genres and make them sound like a match made in heaven, you're bound for greatness.
I don't understand why it matters how old the song is, it warms my heart to see rock and rap collaborating, plus 2 different generations. If we had more of this and less fighting and killing and drugs and suicide, wouldn't that be amazing. Oh well I can dream right.
You don’t exercise your crazy ,you keep in on your thoughts the most relatable thing ever 😂🔥
The most underrated LP song is qwerty. It was on their underground album.
Hubby loved this a lot. He a fan of JayZ songs. I liked it to. And glad to see more people open up to Likin Park about there style of music.
The look Hove gave was legit "well god damn!", such a perfect reaction i laugh every time.
The look Jay-Z gives Chester after that last scream kills me every time 😂😂😂
Points of authority, 99 problems, and then ons step closer.
Mike rapping with Jay Z
Chester in the white shirt
I love your girl dude. Seriously I could fall in love with Lex. She is everything.
this entire colab album is so good.
I'm sorry but there is no greater Rap/Rock band than LP. There will never be another LP. When you can blend two completely different genres and make them sound like a match made in heaven, you're bound for greatness.
Hollywood undead is about as close as it gets but lp are the kings
Lex’s energy is amazing such a vibe i love it lol
This album was a great m,oment, for rock n hip-hop. Jay even made loads of tributes for chester after hs shows
I don't understand why it matters how old the song is, it warms my heart to see rock and rap collaborating, plus 2 different generations. If we had more of this and less fighting and killing and drugs and suicide, wouldn't that be amazing. Oh well I can dream right. RIP Chester, Layne, Chris, Kurt, Mike, Andrew, & Scott, and anyone else who has left this place way to soon.....
If you like this type of thing you should check out the first one that went down which was with Aerosmyth and Run DMC on "Walk this Way". Good stuff!
This and 311 was on my rotation during the 90's constantly
This the mid 2000s though
Mike Shinoda is too underrated!!
The footage of these guys in studio with Jay Z is awesome. Jay Z is such a pro and he knows it lol. Dude gets everything on one go and knows exactly what sounds/beats he wants.
God damn I get so pumped up to this!!!
