Always loved that Jay wanted to work with them for this mash up and love even more that MTV never attempted it again because no one would EVER compete. If I remember correctly it was supposed to be a song or two and Mike mixed a bunch and so MTV was like eh f it let’s do it. Then they did this whole performance and something with recording it went wrong so Jay and LP did the full set again. Chester (screamer and singer talent) sadly ended his life in 2017 so no mash ups again :/ he was a once in a lifetime talent and I remember Jay did numb and encore right after he died at one of his concerts and he was truly about in tears and when it ended just stood there where Chester was supposed to be shaking his head. It was so emotional. The respect between this unreal band and this rap genius and the respect simply between legit men was amazing.
