The biggest change was the water. Something terrible was going on there and maybe the whole north island was destroyed and then they build it up to the island that we see 9 years later in AC. I really wish they would make 2 games that plays in that time.
I love how in Arkham Orgins it was a small part of Gotham city and we get to see it and what it looked like when not destroyed and Before it was turned in a separate city called Arkham city.
The reasons that Origins' graphics were not as good as city's is because: 1) wasn't made by rocksteady 2) city didn't have any villains to decorate to buildings (joker with his clowns and balloons) 3) the ps3/xbox 360 were pushed to their limits allowing the player to travel around a much larger Gotham than they did in City

I'm just so enamored with the history of the place. What happened that caused the buildings near Wonder City to collapse and when did it happen? Why is the Amusement Mile flooded? I'm just so curious.
When Ra´s Al Ghul was loking for more Lazarus beneath arkham city he accidentally destroyed some structures that held Amusement Mil, flooding the area. As the old Gotham is beneath Arkham city, so any earthquake or other thing could do the same

Origins has more realistic villains and it can be believed as a fan of batman but city's villains are like based on magic which really are dissapointing
I love and hate Origins, the game has a nice story and the best boss battles in the series but the city design even though its taken from City got completely redesign to look more "realistic" and it made the city look more bland instead of the super stylistic design of the Arkham City.
Origins had the better graphics but I like the City design of Gotham more. Like with the iceberg lounge you see that Arkham City was completely taken over by those specific villains. In Origins that part of the city which later becomes Arkham is still rather decent. Villains don't show off that much where they are and who they are with their buildings. In City everyone is focusing on showing off "this is my territory " by plastering their signs and such on it. So, even if I like City more, it's only logical that in Origins Gotham has a more decent look. Both games are awesome though.

In origins hes more about armoring up and beatingsfkes down....but losing two fistfights with bane made him realize he needs to be more strategic and faster. Once he gains more confidence he sheds the heavier armor for lighter thinner armor. If u notice...in origins you are alot slower...you miss with batarangs...you have a shorter counter window.... and you have way less prowess in combat. You carry more gadgets. In city he tells alfredo more gadgets and armor slowedhim down..so he shed it. It does make sence
Arkham origins has a simulated winter with fog and it looks like arkham city has more datails (with no fog)
So there's no monorail in origins?
Nope
iReviewer1486 origins happened before they made the city a.k.a arkham city and also those monorails happened because of fast transportation for the TYGER gaurds...
Numpteez hahaha oh my god this comment was 3 years ago, i already know that hahaha sorry 🤣
I know people will always jump and say City is better, but honestly they are two different games with two different vibes in my opinion.
City is the best in my opinion
Origins was very good!
Even if it's been 8 yes since Arkham origins that place changed alot even the size of the buildings was different
Origins is better
Ronan K he'll yeah
Nah City is better
Honestly, Arkham City had better graphics. Thought the Amour design and detail was better in origins.
+PsychoKlown i remember city graphic more beautiful then on this video but origin its the same
No I wish rocksteady and Wb Montreal would have put like the dark knight returns skin in all of the games. I like that costume of batman. Expect Arkham knight, his costume in that game is good.
At first I thought the graphics were same in both games but the lighting is different.
TeamShowStoppa Spot on.
I personally think that Origins had more and better bosses than City.
Arkham city all the way. It's still my favourite out of the four.
my is to City for the win
Arkahm knight is the best
+Eddie Arnett agreed you have three areas of Gotham and get to ride the batmobile.
Asylum! !!GO FOR IT!!!
J.C. even tho knight is the best one but good option
I prefer the more bleak and dull take on this part of Gotham, it was always intended to be that Shitty part of the City that nobody liked
Origins has more realistic villains and it can be believed as a fan of batman but city's villains are like based on magic which really are dissapointing
Podem me chamar de louco mas acho que o City ta mais bonito '-'
You know what the soundtrack of batman Arkham origins
0:15-0:18 that was different without a 🌁.
Joker can be found in Sionis' Mill in Arkham City because he took over Black Mask years ago in Origins...
Why the color of the batsuit is diffrent in arkham citys original and remastred one
I like Arkham City Better because you can explore every building and the subways.
Arkham Origins Gotham reminds me a lot of Batman Returns.
Imo origins has the better atmoshpare city is too colorful and the crhistmas vibe helps to with origins.
Cool video
Online it says origins is placed in Gotham city, I may be dumb but why’s it the same as Arkham city
I love and hate Origins, the game has a nice story and the best boss battles in the series but the city design even though its taken from City got completely redesign to look more "realistic" and it made the city look more bland instead of the super stylistic design of the Arkham City.
Where did you get that soundtrack?
Origins had the better graphics but I like the City design of Gotham more.
Like with the iceberg lounge you see that Arkham City was completely taken over by those specific villains. In Origins that part of the city which later becomes Arkham is still rather decent. Villains don't show off that much where they are and who they are with their buildings. In City everyone is focusing on showing off "this is my territory " by plastering their signs and such on it.
So, even if I like City more, it's only logical that in Origins Gotham has a more decent look.
Both games are awesome though.
How did I not realize that arkham city is half the map in origins
arkham city atmosphere, cinematography, gotham portrayels 100 times better than origins. and details are way better thou
I might get arkham origins just for the sake of seeing arkham city lol
It's funny how none of the GCR towers in Origins are on the building where there actually was one in City
Also where tf did the whole train depot behind the train station/GCPD building go? And where did Ivy's lair come from?
Both of theese city‘s Look better then the Arkham Knight Gotham
