I love how origins has a newer and cleaner feel and city has a kind of post apocalyptic vibe and something have been forgotten
It's probably because batman is kind of new at being batman and the city was darker with out him
City's atmosphere and in game score while free roaming in Arkham city was fantastic.

In Origins, all the villains were just starting up their careers so it makes sense that most of the city still looked “normal” and not themed with villainous art
those were the days...the style,the ambitious plans and young batman who's only in his 2nd tour in vigilante.God i enjoyed Origins.it has remarkable vibe after playing city.
I think that the lack of music when you finish Arkham City makes the game a little more creepier
Arkham city evolved the concept of Asylum
But Asylum scared me much more than city by far, that's why I prefer it and I think it is the best of the trilogy

@@lauti.b9750 Meh, I kinda agree. Certain gameplay mechanics like the grapnel and stuff don’t make sense given it being a prototype in Arkham City. But I still feel like it’s a good addition to the Arkhamverse.
This is honestly kinda creepy. To see how much changed in Gotham in the 9 years between Origins and City. Entire districts were destroyed, others flooded, bridges that are in Origins don’t exist in City. The map in Origins feels open and breathable, but in City, it feels claustrophobic and inaccessible from the outside world, as it should.
Clever editing. Congrats on a great video. Origins was hugely under-rated.

I like how origins map to me was like very gothic and really defined batman as a character
I prefer Arkham City more tbh.
City's map was definitely more gothic imo and was perfectly suited for the game's darker and brooding version of Batman compared to Origins. Origin's tone certainly suited a younger and angrier version perfectly.

Origins suit is the definitive bat suit it looks more militarised, tactical and realistic. It looks like the kind of suit Batman would wear if he existed in our world.

Arkham Origins has a Max Payne 1 atmosphere whereas Arkham City feels like playing in a Tim Burton movie.
Pretty sure, Tim Burton was pretty gothic like I remember the color scheme of his batman movie was primarily black, white and blue, a lot like Origins too. City resemble more of comics or fantastical storybooks.

In Origins are there civilians in the apartments. Know its very random but I always see lights.
I love how in Arkham Orgins we see what was still a large part of Gotham city before half of it flooded and got abandoned and turned into Arkham City. So technically in Arkham Orgins its called Gotham City and not Arkham city even though both games are located same place.

If they do make an Origins Sequal, I hope they add the Bat Cycle or the Batmobile we see in Asylum, but never got to drive (I know Arkham Knight let use drive it), but I mean like for story purposes, itd be realy cool to drive both the Bat Cycle and the Asylum Batmobile in either a simular size map of Origins, or even bigger.

Ive always wondered and always been curious about what the Amusement mile was like before it was flooded years later, had it not been flooded it probably would have been a shithole, I think the Amusement Mile is beyond repair, the Flooding looks permanent, Whatever happened to The Final Offer (Penguins ship/HW from Arkham Origins) did that get submerged underwater is well or did it leave Gotham???

I find it a little ironic how for the Steel Mill, it looks christmas decorated in City whereas it looks normal in Origins despite Origins actually taking place on Christmas eve. Yes I am aware of the timeline and the arkham story

Hey howcome in Arkham origins Wayne towers and the rest of the buildings were farther but in city literally all of the are in front there is no way they just magically put all of the buildings together after 10 years from Arkham origins in the story
City has better atmosphere and sound. DOF, boceh, and weather effects are all more interesting in AC

Origins is very soulless compared to City, and is a graphical downgrade.
I never consciously noticed before at 1:16 how much lower the Arkham City version of the overpass is, since it's submerged in water. Also the Police Station/Train station seems to have been shifted over significantly in Origins.
