    THANK YOU for adding in the “just because you have BPD doesn’t mean you’re going to become a criminal or a killer.”❤Those of us with BPD already have such a bad rep just for having the illness.

      You have really low standards: I think the looks on any mental illness by the general public is just horrific. And illnesses should not be defended.Bpd is hated bcoz it is not to be treated with meds, not enough profit on it, so it's demonized.

    Im for sure NOT blaming the men contacting her and definitely not blaming Zayed. The wording was unfortunate though. Saying that he „was not into hookups and he wanted to settle down” with a 19 year old girl called Dominacherry with a description of her profile about being a virgin into bdsm and inviting him to a remote cabin in the woods is just not it

      @projectalyce ปีที่แล้ว +176

      Yeah, it is strange how she described this guy. We don’t know his intentions for making a dating profile and talking to this horrid woman, specifically. So, to assume he did it to settle down and find love… that’s really unwarranted. it doesn’t add to the story. If anything it does the opposite. What if he was just looking for a hookup? Does that make m u r d e r ing him any less tragic?
      However, a lot of true crime TH-camrs do this. They speak of the victim like they knew them.

    • @anthonym840
      @anthonym840 ปีที่แล้ว +33

      @@projectalyce Thats how they treat victims if they were really victims. They treat it this way because thats how they were treated in the case. Are u suggesting that there was a reason to murder him? People hook up everyday. Thats not anything devious. He didnt murder her, she murdered him. That makes him the victim. By default. You people are like vultures. U litterally hunt for a reason to hate someone from what it reads. " oh he could have done this, or that" even though his plan was just a casual hook up. Ur trying to uncover something like he couldnt possibly be innocent and entertaining the idea that she " had reason" to kill him or that no one should miss him if he did something. Just accept the fact that the man is dead, because she killed him. And the only thing he wanted was either A a casual hook up, or a possible partner. Either way the man is still a victim. Stop insinuating theres always a dirty crack somewhere.

    • @projectalyce
      @projectalyce ปีที่แล้ว +40

      I never suggested there was a reason. Where are you getting this from? Like what did I say in my comment that implied that there was a reason?
      My comment is stating that there is no point in stressing why he made that account and started talking to this woman. It doesn’t matter if it was to find love or for a hookup. So, WHY ADD THAT? That adds nothing to the story. If anything, it does the opposite because what is this TH-camr trying to say if she found out he was looking for hookup? Is he still a “true victim” at that point, as the police likes to separate victims, or is there now a reason that justifies, or at the very least explains his m u r d e r?
      On top of that, she said it, herself that she couldn’t find any information about him. So, I highly doubt she found the reason why he made that account and why he started talking to this mentally deranged woman. So, again… I ask why add that?
      There is no need. He is the victim. Period. No need to explain why he was talking to her.

When she first mentioned BPD I thought oh God here it goes because there is such a stigma that comes along with BPD but my heart melted when it was obvious she researched it and had empathy. I no longer suffer from the effects except I have a favorite person who happens to be my husband, a narcissist. I also suffer from extreme fear of abandonment. I can see how her bf breaking up with her triggered this whole thing. I am proud to say I am a multiple suicide survivor and I no longer obsess or think about suicide. I'm doing great. It's been 6 years since I've been in a mental health facility. I have therapy once a week too. Thank you for opening up about your BPD and congratulations you no longer meet the criteria. I feel the same way as I have BPD, I'm 54. I found out about my diagnosis in 2017 even though I was diagnosed with it in 2014, they forgot to tell me. It's an awful diagnosis but with the correct help you can overcome it. 😊

    Something many people don't realise when being confused by the "luxury" people have in prisons and similar facilities in some countries, is that the sentence is your lack of freedom, not having other human rights taken from you or even torture (like in some countries). You get to stay a person, you're not dehumanised. And you get a chance to learn to do better, learn new skills for later in life, even learn a new job. It's meant to rehabilitate people, not to just lock them away for however long. And obviously in a psychiatric facility you're pretty sure also forced to undergo treatment to hopefully find out what's going on and - again - rehabilitate you if possible. That's how the prison system should be everywhere, it's what has the best chances of actually keeping people from doing things again once they're out (if they do get out)

When she first mentioned BPD I thought oh God here it goes because there is such a stigma that comes along with BPD but my heart melted when it was obvious she researched it and had empathy. I’m honestly such a pacifist, I’m against any type of violence, even yelling at people I feel is still a bit much. I’m a quiet bpd person I think? None of it is outside, it’s all inner turmoil. I did as a teen find myself a bit too into certain serial killers but it was never in a “I love them and want to be them” way, it was more of a “I’m fascinated by the psychology of WHY they do that” to the point it was all I thought about for a little while but I was in a really dark place back then. There are overlaps between BPD and autism, and one time a new psychiatrist disagnosed me with autism after a 40 minute session. 😅 I was very confused given my long-term BPD diagnosis, and having gone through long-term therapy and understand why I do what I do. So, her diagnosis made me feel really annoyed and invalidated. I also have a close family member with autism, and looking at the difference in the “why” really sets us apart. My triggers/personality differences are about abandonment, trauma, and attachment, and aren’t due to differences in social cognition.

    Thank you SO much about what you said regarding BPD. As soon as I heard “borderline personality disorder” I rolled my eyes because I’m used to people saying things that stereotype us. I’m grateful that you acknowledged it. Thank you. Having the illness is hell in itself, but people’s view on it makes it so much harder.

      I feel the same way as I have BPD, I'm 54. I found out about my diagnosis in 2017 even though I was diagnosed with it in 2014, they forgot to tell me. It's an awful diagnosis but with the correct help you can overcome it. 😊

    I’m German and I’m also into true crime and how I understand the justice system a lil bit :)
    her sentence is pretty much life. The process to get out of a psychiatric prison is a long one with lots of assessments and criterias you have to fit. It is also a long process in terms of getting back into society so the prisoners can get used to it slowly. The laws around that can be different form county to county (German justices is very complicated like that, each cooks their own soup).
    There are of course cases where someone who isn’t fit to return into society is released and classified as fitted but I think that is shouldn’t but it does happen sometimes.
    Also the reason she was allowed to wear her own cloths is most likely because she was in “Untersuchungshaft” which means Pretrial detention where people are imprisoned during their trial. When they are sentenced then they go to a normal prison and personal clothing and their rules depends on the prison. Most prisons your are allowed your own clothing, I’m guessing something psychology for the people to not completely lose their identity.
    Hope that helps :)
    Really enjoyed the video, thanks for making it 🐝

    As someone with a severely stigmatized disorder (schizophrenia), I always appreciate how you go out of your way to be as firm as possible in that these disabilities like BPD, schizophrenia and other secretly stigmatized disorders don't make us a danger. It's so refreshing, especially after popular crime reality shows like Criminal Minds (I adore that show, Reid my beloved, but they use schizophrenia, BPD, and other disabilities and disorders way too much) have many people thinking that we're gonna snap as soon as we tell them our diagnosis.
    Edit 2: Autocorrect changed one of my "severely" 's into "secretly", and I'm not changing it cuz I'm on mobile, but it's definitely NOT a secret thing lmfao
    Edit 3 cuz Edit 1 was deleted??? Fuck mobile, honestly. Anyway, disability and disorder is used interchangeably here because disorders are also disabilities when they affect aspects of your day to day life.

There's no one better. Also, I am so thankful that it was pointed out that just because you have a mental illness doesn't mean you are evil. That's such a stigma that so many of us live with, and I'm so thankful it's always pointed out that we aren't all bad. It just means a lot.

      losing a favorite person (being broken up with) is beyond the point of depression, and then it develops into rage and just wanting to hurt them even if it’s irrational. NOT DEFENDING!! Just trying to explain when bpd is untreated it can turn into a MESS.
