@@DanielleKirsty Hii Danielle! There is this one case that I haven’t seen many true crime TH-camrs cover. That is the Jeffrey Baldwin case.
It is eerily similar to the Angela McAnulty case that you covered last year. When I first looked into it, I cried because the perpetrators subjected Jeffrey and his sister to unimaginable abuse.
One more case suggestion would be the case of Jasmine Richardson.
Thank you so much for everything you do for us❤️❤️

I live in Germany and I've read an interview with an old man... who met Fritz and he was going to be killed. he was saved by a schoolmate that from far away noticed that man was strange. So scary.. he showed a knife and told him, SMILING: "come here little boy, I'm going to cut your throat" o_o

Remember the part about his medical problems when he was a teen...the seizures, dizziness, etc? I keep wondering whether the SA he suffered by the gym teacher led him to getting syphilis, which if untreated, can become neurosyphilis and cause the above symptoms. Neurosyphilis could also manifest as the bizarre and feral "neck biting" urges and compulsions.

Sounds like a fine theory, but... This monster killed his first victim in 1918 and was executed in 1925. There is no way somebody with neurosiphilis could live for this long without any treatment. Even the least aggressive forms of this desease can make a person completely insane, demented, paralysed or unable to take care of themselves in less than a year. And mind you, when this disgusting human being has been caught, he was sane enough to try faking insanity.

I know it’s a little late since Halloween season is almost over, but you should definitely check out the Mckamey Manor if you haven’t already. It’s essentially a torture chamber disguised as an extreme haunted house. The owner’s past girlfriends have come out with allegations of abuse/pedophilia. People who have tried to complete the ‘challenge’ have been buried alive, had their heads chained underwater, covered in wasps and hornets, teeth and nails ripped out, etc. There’s a safe word, but most times they continue anyway. It’s just so interesting and there’s so much info about it. Would love to see it covered.
Edit: I’m aware it’s popular and well-covered. I was only suggesting it because it’s on theme with Halloween and spooky season.

And yeah, the safe word means nothing. And i saw a clip where he getsan actor who worked for him to do a video and he tortures her for real. Does a bunch of things she didnt agree to do and he wont stop shes begging him to stop and no way will he stop. It wasnt acting it was real torture. Then makes her say she consented to it. I didnt think saying I consent while being tortured is legit. Why do these people get away with it? Its only illegal for some people,i guess. Cant tell me there isnt enough evidence to just effing charge him with a bunch of stuff. But im really caught up with all of the laws that certain people and certain groups of people are allowed to break. There are businesses that make mony out of torturing and abusing people. Make it make sense. Like those school for troubled children. They torture the kids ,thats all they do. Oh and the ones that kidnapped the kids in the middle of the night. Htf is that not illegal. Why is kidnapping ok for them? If kidnapping is illegal then just based on that those places should have been charged and shut down. It drives me insane thinking about all of this human traffic going on in plain sight. This is reality. And then people still gotta make up fake trafficking rings , fake stories and get attention for that. Who cares about allod the real stuff happening

This one is FAMOUS, even iconic. At least in Germany.
"Warte, warte nur ein Weilchen, dann kommt Haarmann auch zu dir ..."
This 1920s German popular song describes the crimes in much detail, but changes the gender of the victims.
There is also a very good film about this guy, with Götz George as Haarmann, "Der Totmacher".
Some people see Haarmann as kind of a foreshadowing of another certain guy with a moustache (I don't remember where I read this).

Thank you for this case! Historic ones are fascinating! I'm SO relieved they didn't kill Hans! I suspect he had a lot of faults, don't get me wrong he's not totally innocent, but at a time of such poverty, with his history of sex work, I feel he was in a difficult position. He possibly had nowhere to go, and he already knew the police were indifferent. If he'd insisted the murders stopped he'd probably have been next? I may be totally wrong but from behaviour in court I feel he was in an impossible situation. Even selling the bike, while grim, for the time period and poverty could have not been purely from malice and for profit. Thank you for doing such a brilliant job with a difficult and gruesome case! Didn't she say this happened in the late 1800s very early 1900s?
I watched a video about the inflation during the Weihmar Republic and they said that you could buy a cup of coffee amd then return it and it'd be worth 3 or 4x more than you'd just paid for it less than a minute before. Lol. A loaf of bread in the morning could need a suitcase of money to buy and by that evening it'd need 2 or 3 suitcases or as you said, a wheel barrow. Hyper inflation they suffered was caused by the Versailles Treaty that Hermany was forced to accept after WWI. With all the reparations hey were ordered to pay to France and Belgium. It actually took quite a while, like over a decade for Hitler and the Nazi Party to win enough seats at the Reichstag and the German president (forget his name) refused to ask Hitler to be chancellor and instead asked someone else, that government t collapsed and ended up the president asked Hitler to form a government. He played the part for the first few years before becoming the dictator and autocrat he was. I've watched so many docs about that time period n stuff lol. That period along with the Elizabethan (Tudor/Stuart) ear are ny 2 fave time periods in history. Lol

Thank you for always bringing cases that are unique to me. I never heard this one. Quite horrifying and sad. The fact that he was stated to be deranged and still the police worked with him is beyond words. I know that the police didn’t have the information systems that we have today but someone had to remember this. Crazy❤

I love when it is a case I have never heard of. It amazes me that this can happen for so long.

Excellent work , Danielle , as always. Such a horrifying case. I’m thankful he was caught but I do agree he should have been caught much sooner.

I wonder why everyone wasn't talking about that nutcase instead of Jack the ripper or Jeffrey Dahmer 💀

Gosh, grizly. It was so nice to have the twist of good news at the end with Hans. I still don't think he should've got 12 years as, as far as we know, he didn't do anything except turn a blind eye.
