This is what we say pure criativity... Give a second live, whith recicling materials for stay with low cost. Is amazing the way that you build this trommel. My best wishes and congratulations for your work.
Glad you found it helpful. I'm intrigued, what game are you putting it in? I'd love to see a screenshot when your done! That sounds cool. Thanks for watching!
Hi Scaman79 Just a suggestion . Would it have been easier to use a rivet gun, as you have your holes already around the wheel with a sizable washer on the underside ?
Сколько мороки! Помните, у нас были железные кровати? Так взять сетку от этой кровати (или сделать подобное) и поставить ее наклонно - к любому забору, дереву. И просеивайте землю.
ScanMan79 , those razors are a tremendous resource. You can get the wheels, either hard plastic or even pneumatic, strong 12v motors and the electronic throttles, gears, chain and batteries.
I considered those but since they are a solid mount it wouldn't allow for the basket to have any play or waviness in the rims. With the swivel casters the whole basket can move a little over an inch in either direction length wise and have no issues with binding, derailing or excessive wear on the wheels themselves. Thanks for watching.
@@fnafgaming7632 Possibly, I don't have any experience with Roblox to be able to offer any suggestions. It does however sound like it might be a collision issue, but that's pure speculation on my part. I wish I had a computer that could handle Roblox, it looks really neat. I'd like to try it out someday.
Great job!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!its great!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!and so cool!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Harbor Freight sells casters that might work. They look like the kinds used on rollerblades. All that video and we didn't get to see it in action? Grr...
I'm going to use some of those HF casters in my build. I'll include a video of it working when I finally get to that part of the build. here is a link If you would like to follow along with my build. th-cam.com/play/PLo0Dj3_xr78NRP77DA9clNJKa2gj_9WgU.html
By the time you have constructed this , you will have lost a growing season . A mesh on a slanted frame does the job as well. Easy to make ,easy to move . Not criticizing your construction . But keep things simple , its worked for years .
We can't grow year round here. You do these kind of projects in the off season when timing isn't critical. Yes, overall simple is best but not always the most efficient.
seems like a lot of work.....i'm guessing you ahve lots of soild to sift thru ? Have you gotten too or posted part 3 yet ? this one looks a bit like yours th-cam.com/video/Cm5NaHRhVF0/w-d-xo.html

Nice I'll be using a cement mixer motor and pulley so hopefully will be about 30-35rpm depending on wjat pulley I use
Great idea! That should work great once you have your speed worked out. Good luck! Thanks for watching!
Absolutely awesome
I'm glad you liked it! Thanks for watching!
Great video can't wait to see more .
I see some people use inline skate wheels for the basket to run on . Good luck . Nice video .
Really great video! Well done sir.
Thanks for watching!

Np Ill show someday
It's been nearly two years now sinse you made this video. Are we going to see one of you actually using your trommel anytime soon?
good video I'm making it in my game

I must assume that the building inspector is checking out your work. I hope it meets his high standards.
Loved the build, both part 1 & 2
Don't you just hate when Part 3 is promised but never published
Usually means they were not able or chose not to complete the project.
great video, but do you have a video of it working outside?
welp, I tried but I can't do it, it just won't rotate for some reason
@scanman79 yeah can we get a part 3 plz

Pet Me Hooman! Do as I say! 9:30 ~
Hey what is the measurement of your rims outside to outside?
Approximately 23 inches.
Thanks

THANKS SO MUCH MAN...
You should have used those "Razor" scooter wheels.
Mike Welch Yeah those might have worked well.

Can buy a pair of rollerblades at goodwill for 10 bucks, would have done it as well.
I did and I'm having some trouble. My frame is square but some of the bike wheels are slightly out of round.
You need roller blade wheels...

can't get it to rotate
That's too bad. would have been neat to see it in a game! Maybe someday you'll figure out what's preventing it from working. :)
