I have learned so much from you about using various crafting machines and printers and creating so many projects with you. You are a wonderful teacher!
MERRY CHRISTMAS! I am so very grateful for you, Jennifer and for Greg as well. If I had not found out about you my Cricut would still be sitting in its box from 3 years ago. I wouldn't even know what sublimation was. Thank you so very much! Thanks for this great video
Thank you! Ive been really wondering what to choose, because it can be so confusing or overwhelming. My trusty printer broke in a move and ive been on pins and needles trying to figure it out on which to choose now. I appreciate such a detailed review for me to really ponder on. Much appreciated!
I was just able to go back and finish watching this video. I was watching from the live and had to pause several times. Really love watching these set up and watching you test them. Thanks for doing these videos.
I love watching your videos. You make everything you are doing real and I don’t feel so bad having the same issues! I have been wanting to learn about sublimation printers and this has helped me thank you. Winning this printer would be a wonderful thing _ no matter who wins.
This is a really great printer and you've done a great job (of course, as usual LOL) with the unboxing and everything you described about it. Thank you for that, as well as the opportunity to win the unboxed item!
Thank you I never knew about this printer I have a Epson 2800 and a Epson 8550 that I have converted and I am so frustrated with both.. I will get my son to help me this weekend to see if I can get them both working correctly if not I will most definitely look into this printer.. Thanks again 💖💖💖
You really have made a wonderful name for yourself through much hard work I’m sure. Thank you so much for all your videos as many of them if not all have helped me on my journey with Cricut and interest in sublimation. I’m having roller problems on my maker which is a known defect. Purchased in 2020 from Costco and hardly used😢….any suggestions how to fix them from coming off track? Cricut was not much help and will not do anything to replace it. Wasted a lot of time fiddling with it and messed up projects now I’ve almost given up . Rollers are looking bad from moving them back …don’t know how much longer they will last😢 Always wanted a sublimation printer …hoping to afford one in 2025 but prices are so expensive on everything.🤷♀️ Happy Holidays to you and your family and again thank you again for all your dedicated work.❤❤❤🎄🤶🎄
We leave Cricut issues to those amazing folks over at Cricut. We have not had roller issues. Please reach out to them directly here: help.cricut.com/hc/en-us
I'm wondering if the color on the ornament came out too dark because the heat press should have been set at 380 instead of 385. I'm not sure if Jennifer noticed it was set at a different temperature.
This is the printer I want I miss sublimation I was so upset when mine stopped working and couldn’t get it fixed … I hope I’ll have this one someday ….. I think I’d pass out if I won anything but this would be the best item I could win I’ve been wanting for a long time now …. I found it as low as 579.00 cad is that good I’m thinking yes
Is there a way to Sublimate just one side of the ornament, then sublimate the other side - rather than do both sides at the same time? Just wondering if the end result would come out better. Not sure, just wondering?
No, it's generally not recommended to sublimate one side of an ornament, then try to sublimate the other side separately because the heat from the second press can often partially "erase" the design on the first side, leading to a faded or uneven result.
Hello from Australia!!! I was wondering if you could please help me or maybe do a video on how to prepare an image for engraving with a cricut please. I know how to use inkscape and photoshop but I can't find any information out there!!! Desperately would love to know how to do this xx
If you want to start a sublimation project and prefer a printer that works right out of the box without the need for conversion, the Epson F170 is recommended. It is a purpose-built sublimation printer, which means you can start sublimating immediately without worrying about conversion or maintenance issues. However, if you don't mind converting a printer and are looking for a more budget-friendly option, the Epson EcoTank 2800 is also a good choice. Keep in mind that converting an Epson EcoTank printer to sublimation requires some effort and maintenance.
"Ghosting" with a sublimation printer occurs when the sublimation transfer paper shifts during the heat press process, causing the ink to not fully transfer to the substrate, resulting in a faint image "ghost" on the final product; this can be caused by improper taping of the paper to the substrate, uneven pressure from the heat press, dirt or residue on the substrate surface, or an uneven surface texture on the substrate itself.

I would love to win this, right now i am paying someone to print my designs for me.

Is that the only paper we can use with this printer?
No, but I found that paper to work well. jennifermaker.com/epson-surecolor-setup/

Hi Jennifer. I want to start a sublimation and DTF project. What printer do you recommend? Epson ET2800 or F170?
If you want to start a sublimation project and prefer a printer that works right out of the box without the need for conversion, the Epson F170 is recommended. It is a purpose-built sublimation printer, which means you can start sublimating immediately without worrying about conversion or maintenance issues.

could ghosting and being more brown be because no butcher paper?
"Ghosting" with a sublimation printer occurs when the sublimation transfer paper shifts during the heat press process, causing the ink to not fully transfer to the substrate, resulting in a faint image "ghost" on the final product; this can be caused by improper taping of the paper to the substrate, uneven pressure from the heat press, dirt or residue on the substrate surface, or an uneven surface texture on the substrate itself.
if you have a leak, you may not have seated you bottle correctly. speaking from experience here!!
Does anyone know if this printer can print larger than 8.5X11?
The maximum print size: 8.5 x 14 in
