I won hornet 2.0 E20 model My point of view review 1. performance is great 0 to 100 at just 10 second its very fast on the 184cc engine. 2. milage is around 52kmpl at 80 to 90 kmph ❤ 3. This engine refinement is amazing, very very very less vibration even top end at 9250 rpm red line. 4. slipper clutch,all LED lights,USDs , better tyres size , front 110 rear 140, 5. Most important its simple air cooled engine but surprising No over heat problem ❤ 6. You mostly crussing 80 kmph is feel like flying 💯💯💯

i. This bike is an excellent commutor. I have not done a long trip. The seating position is upright. Handling is good. Matt Marvel Blue colour with golden branding, I bought looks good. I also liked the Grey and black colours as well. Engine cut off is included in this version. Instrument cluster is decent with negetive LCD display and essential information. Lacks Average Mileage and Distance to empty info. LED indicators and Led head and tail lamp. Rear view mirrors need more height for good rear visibility Led Headlamp is not that bright. But OK. Tail lamp really good My height is 164cm. Seat height of 790mm is fine for me. Build quality is good. exhaust sound is good. not that loud. gear shifting is smooth. Seat is not that smooth but no pain for short rides. Suspension is not soft. we will know the potholes when we hit them. But i find that is OK. Tyers give good confidence for cornering. Front brake is good with ABS. Back brake is very soft. Overall I liked the bike. This is only my 1.5 week experience. Exshowroom price is 138324 L, Tax 17,982, 11384-Insurance-On Road price is 1.71 L. Accessories- Crash guard, indicator buzzer, seat cover, Handle grip, Tank cover costs Rs 2600/- First service in 1 month or 750 to 1000 kms.
I own Hornet 2.0. Two major issues 1: very stiff suspension setup, like on speed breakers your pillion rider if he is a boy has to look out for his balls to be careful. 2: Pillion seat is not good, did around 300KM ride, pillion seat comfort is compromised, you will feel it after like 30-40km to move again and again.
@@armsf4297 yes that happened some months ago, it was a small manufacturing fault. You can go to honda service center. They will put a rubber ring and it will sto p the leakage
I bought it 20 days back. Yes you told it correct. When i was in pillion seat it got on a massive breakers and my balls got the biggest jerk of their life. The other thing is rider seat is also not comfortable for long rides above 150 km.
I heard that the suspension can be tuned to be on softer side in service centers. Even if we don't do it, after riding for over 500 kms, stiff suspension will become soft!
Please tell us about rear suspension. Is it hard enough to hurt your back or good on bad roads??? Can we consider this among 200 4v and 200ns as city bike???
Up to me the rear suspension has set towards softer side. I did 150km without much discomforts. There was numbness because of the longer saddle. Unfortunately I will say this cannot be compared to an RTR 200 or NS200. They both are performance oriented 200c. This one is comfort oriented.
Bro, So as far as comfort is concerned would you prefer this bike over rtr 200 and 200 ns ? And I am using hero Honda Xtreme 150 and it’s ergonomics is good for my height of 6 feet. Will I be comfortable with this bike ?
If possible for you, while test riding hornet do take it on some bad roads if u r going to encounter it in ur city on daily basis. It will help you to decide better.
I have hornet 2.0. Suspension is not an issue in city for the rider. But for pillion, it's not comfortable at all. Apache 160 4v is more comfortable for pillion. But hornet has far better handling than apache - this is from my experience. My height is 5'5.
I have this bike from more then a year and have done 12.5k kms now. Its a beautiful refined bike. Gives around 45km / litre mileage. Have enough power to smoothly ride around the city b/w 70-100. Not tried touring yet. But its a very good choice.
I dont own one but i have talked to the people who owns it about heating it may heat a bit not overheating but after 2nd service it got back to normal also try considering synthetic oil, and same about suspension after 500km it doesn't feel as stiff but u can always adjust it.@@arvindfluidic

Yes i have test ride the vehicle twice , on the highway it doesn't felt anything , but in the streets its very stiff , can feel every bump and pat holes. I had thought to buy earlier but changed and moved on to rtr 200.

Strell, according to Honda's website, the xblade can do 0 to 100 in less than 8 seconds.. if hornet is doing almost the same top speed , why shouldn't i go with xblade by saving few thousands and get better mileage? The only diff other than cc and power figures could be the upside down forks, but still on highway does it even matter ?
Hornet is tuned to deliver good low end performance...it can do 0 to 60 a lot faster than xblade even can give a challenge to apache 200 4v. X blade is a sporty comuter ...so good mileage is expectable Hornet looks better than any other competitors in its segment...
Those are the manufacturing defects of first lot from 2020 Hornet 2.0 , but now there are no such issues as of 2022 new model with Side stand cutoff and increased power and torque figures

If you have money buy hornet. But if you want to save about 20000 go for xblade. same engine(although 20cc smaller), better mileage. The ride feel almost same. In hornet you get more torque, more bhp, bigger tyres, better suspension, better meter console
MT 15 is all over an ideal bike but this one is good and premium option for beginners + MT do not have both rider and pillion comfort for long rides this one has an edge and it also lacks 6th gear so the top end could be so smooth

Every thing is good with this bike like the performance, maintenance, mileage, refinement at its peak. But a very important and major setback with this bike is its spare parts like tank cover and its fiber body parts. Which is a most important part of this bike which give this bike the look it seems the beast and best. So, By chance if your motorbike for some reason met with an accident or crashed the first thing it will going to damage is its fiber tank and you will not going to get the parts easily at even authorised service center. Also forget about the local market. you gonna suffer the downtime of your bike like minimium 2 to 3 months. Although, HONDA is a good brand. it earns its reputation through its service and quality. But when you study and research deep down about the market share of HONDA motor bikes in INDIA. You will found it only sells scooty mainly prioritize on scooty and then cb shine like segment. so, I think you get the real market ground reality image of this HONDA (HMSI) in india. NO OFFENCE! When it comes to pillion seat it's not fit for touring. You can not drive with pillion 200 km in one go. Your but starts paining.

Every thing is good with this bike like the performance, maintenance, mileage, refinement at its peak.
But a very important and major setback with this bike is its spare parts like tank cover and its fiber body parts. Which is a most
important part of this bike which give this bike the look it seems the beast and best.
So, By chance if your motorbike for some reason met with an accident or crashed the first thing it will going to damage is its fiber tank and you will not going to get the parts easily at even authorised service center. Also forget about the local market. you gonna suffer the downtime of your bike like minimium 2 to 3 months.
Although, HONDA is a good brand. it earns its reputation through its service and quality.
But when you study and research deep down about the market share of HONDA motor bikes in INDIA. You will found it only sells scooty mainly prioritize on scooty and then cb shine like segment. so, I think you get the real market ground reality image of this
HONDA (HMSI) in india.
