Most of the motorcycle TH-camrs never ever talk about pillion comfort especially for touring motorcycles. That aspect is always either ignored or just one or two generic lines which gives no information. In most of the touring scenarios, you usually travel with partner and whether to invest in such an expensive bike with a pillion comfort sometimes becomes deal breaker. At this point, all the companies have good engines, good tech .. pretty much same... So what bike gives in terms of comfort to both rider and Pillion is deciding factor...
That's a great point. I agreed. Comfort for both rider and pillion is often overlooked when considering a touring bike. While many companies offer powerful engines and advanced technology, the overall riding experience can be significantly impacted by the bike's ergonomics and suspension. It's essential to prioritize comfort when making a purchase, especially if you plan to travel long distances with a partner.
Even though not "new" or "updated", the FJR1300ES deserves an honorable mention. It's absolutely jammed with technology, electronic suspension, IMU, modes, heated grips, electric windscreen, cornering lights, LEDs, yadda yadda blah blah. And it's shaft drive and has a bulletproof 1300cc four. It looks good and arguably is more functional and less expensive than some of the tall-rounders mentioned in the video. The FJR1300ES is only $1800 more than the Tracer 9 GT+, and in the touring space is WELL worth that extra few bucks.
