Ehhh xigbar is quite the actor. He was acting like he wanted a Keyblade the whole time because it was part of his plan. He then said xehanort bequeath him his blade but we never saw this happen, which can be a lie. I think xigbar knew that when xehanort was defeated, the no name would return to its original owner.

    • @TheLandiLodge
      @TheLandiLodge  ปีที่แล้ว +18

Of course he did, he was "playing the part" of just "I'm Xigbar, and I want your Keyblade one day Master Xehanort" but meanwhile it was "I'm Luxu, and I cant wait to get my blade back"
Hence him saying "Finally, back where it belongs" That 'Finally' implying that he has been waiting for this, and for quite awhile at that.
The part of him that was acting, was the part of him that was acting like that Keyblade wasn't rightfully his.

Honestly Luxu fitting the No Name actually seems more alike to how Keyblades work rather then anything else.
Keyblades are meant to be a reflection of the heart. Which works very well with Keyblades that are made within the heart of their wielders. However with inherited keyblades I have to think something else is going on. I think that inherited Keyblades change their wielders so that they better fit the Keyblades symbolism. Let's take a look at the different keyblades and wielders and see if my thoughts have any weight.
First Sora. The Kingdom Key was not his to begin with. However he was wielding it for most of KH1 and letting it rest within his heart. It is not clear if the Kingdom Key was Riku's or if it was an inherited Keyblade that would have appeared to any child from the Destiny Islands. I could honestly see it being either way. However over the corse of KH1 we do see a change in Sora. He starts being what the Kingdom Key symbolizes. The protector of the kingdom, or the keeper of the key of the kingdom if you like. It is unclear if Sora changes from a mostly indifferent, but willing to help character at the start of KH1 into the Protector of Worlds is caused by his experiences or by the Kingdom Key however that is a change he does. Until at Hollow Bastion the Kingdom Key chooses Sora as it's wielder, because Sora fit's it's symbolism a lot better then Riku does.
It should be noted that Riku also has strong protector themes to his character. I can easily see why the Kingdom Key would have tried to pick him. Might have even been made from his heart(when Riku was a child). However as he has grown up Riku has become less of a Protector of the Kingdom and more of a Protector of the Protectors. And that is likely why the Kingdom Key isn't his.
Roxas, and Xion also use the Kingdom Key. However it is also clear that the Kingdom Key tries to run away from Xion in Days, and weakens in Roxas' hands. Yes there are other reasons that the keyblade does this however I really think that at least part of the reason is because neither of them really fit the symbolism of the Kingdom Key. Which is the Protector of the Kingdom, overall simple, but strong. It would make the most sense if both Roxas and Xion get different keyblades and stop using the Kingdom Key at some point. It doesn't fit them, and they struggle too much to be more then what the Kingdom Key means.
Way to Dawn is very much forged to be Riku's Heart given weapon form. It's symbolism fits Riku's journey like it was tailor made for him, which it likely was. However when Dawn was reached in KH3 the Way to Dawn was no longer needed. After all Dawn Breaks into morning. It makes way to much sense for Way to Dawn to break that I am honestly surprised that no one really guessed that it was going to do so before we saw it happening. It signals that Dawn is here and that Riku's way forward is no longer walking towards Dawn because he is already there. Braveheart is simple, it still has the light and dark motif with the silver white of the blade and the black of the handle. However it's mostly blankness likely symbolizes that Riku doesn't know which was is forward any more. Where does he want to go, where does he belong? Even it maybe being a car key also leads to these questions that Riku doesn't know the answer to. When he does get the answer I very much think that Braveheart is going to change again to reflect that. Braveheart very much feels like a placeholder weapon much like how Soul Eater was.
Mickey. Kingdom Key D should in theory be one of the strongest keyblades around, and should be well suited for fighting in the Realm of Darkness. Why is it so weak for Mickey? Well because Mickey doesn't fit it's symbolism. Yes, Mickey is a Protector of a Kingdom but it isn't the Kingdom of the Realm of Darkness, and honestly it's fairly weak symbolism for him in the first place. Mickey should have a star keyblade because he is of the World's in the Realm of Light and is a traveler between the worlds in the Realm of Light more then anything else.
Mickey doesn't fit the Kingdom Key D's symbolism and the keyblade is weakened because of this. Honestly I think he would be strongest with the Star Seeker again rather then even the Keyblade they made for him in KH3.
Aqua fits Rainfall very well. What she doesn't fit is Master's Defender and it shows. Master's Defender likes characters like Brain, Ephemer, and Eraqus. Characters Aqua is nothing like. Does the Master's Defender allow her to use it. Yes. However I always have gotten the feeling that it allows her to use it because Eraqus asked it to rather then because it wanted to be used by her. Master's Defender acts more like her parent keeping a watch over her and protecting her rather then her own keyblade. When Aqua travels through the Realm of Darkness and becomes less and less like Master's Defender' symbolism the keyblade actually runs away from her. It is unclear if this it because the Master's Defender senses that the way it(the parent) can save her is be finding someone else, or if it is running away because Aqua just doesn't reflect it all that well.
Aqua's poor showing throughout KH3 likely has to do with using a Keyblade that doesn't fit her at all. Well that and the PTSD that we know she is struggling with. However her lost with Vanitas in the Land of Departure likely has more to do with Master's Defender then anything else. I for one and very thankful that Aqua realized that she doesn't fit Master's Defender and finds her old keyblade again. Rainfall is likely going to change a little at some point but it's done that before.
Odin uses both No Name and Master's Defender. Likely he uses them for different tasks because they symbolize different things and are stronger when they are used for what they are made for.
So yeah, I think that keyblades either change their wielder to fit what they symbolize. Or they weaken, or even run away if they can not change the wielder. Luxu changing to fit No Name likely is either something he does so that No Name returns to him. After all the keyblade does fall right in front of him. Or it is something that naturally happened because No Name changed him over the several lifetimes that Luxu has been watching but never touching.
I still don't think that Luxu took over Brain, or that Luxu has touched the No Name from the time of giving it to Brain to the end of KH3. DR only makes me think this more. Though ML might change my mind it depends.

Something else that supports your theory is in the manga adaptation of 358/2 Days. I'll try not to spoil too much, but the way Roxas acquires Oathkeeper and Oblivion is a significant reflection of everything he had experienced up to that point in the story. I find it funny the Master of Masters is also Unknown. All the people in the Final mix boss fights are called Unknown (the first one is Xemnas , second is Young Xehanort). They are also Betrayers and indirectly agents of the Master of Masters. They are also, like Luxu, implied to to be different versions of several beings. Young Xehanort in BBS is touched by Darkness, and contains the Memories of both the Player and his Future Darkness (The Darkness from Ansem, Seeker of Darkness). Xemnas is Terra+ Master Xehanort+Eraqus's Nobody who stole Ansem's name with the sigil.
So, Unknowns are not one being, but composite Beings. Even Blue Robe is a composite being, Us.

In a sense, what is his motive? To gain his own identity? Finally be a person? This series is so weird lately I wouldn’t be surprised luxu is someone we already know ( in a sense… dunno how to explain it) specially with remind… who’s to say Luxu isn’t sora? He still wants to save everyone and he is more of a "virus" than Luxu. Then the Brain in scala is like the data backup that they all had (probably to explain how strelitzia is alive)
    - Braig, Bragi and Brain are very similar names and could be a sign.
    - Brain was way cockier than Luxu.
    - Brain cna go against the master much easier because his main goal is to save everyone
    - Xigbar never confirms he is Luxu. He says " it's a name I havent heard in a long time, these days the call me xigbar, but hey whatever suits you"

But how wouldthat work? There would never be an end to the story if it were so. it's not like what happened to xeanorth, here the same person (not him and his nobody)are living at the same time at different ages. Meaning that the younger one will always be able to grow and Go back in time to do all the things again and again and again. If the story were to diverge Luxu wouldn't be able to become the MoM and therfore we wouldn't have anything about what happened. So it just can't work. ( unless they give a weird explanation)

I feel is more like No Name is made for the Characters in the The Master's script who are Traitors. The No Name has a Scapegoat, the Betrayal of the Contracted truce between The Master of Masters and Darkness. Basically, it is their fault the contract got broken apparently, (but actually The Master cause it), thus scapegoating those People. Xehanort is also one of those Traitor people, and creates a Organization of Them. So the Master made No Name to be given to the people who X. Thus, the Master can see the people who help him win.

I’d also point out in regards to the goat motif, where Luxord had called Luxu a black goat while referring to himself as a white goat. What could his intentions possibly be?
As of right now, I am running with the idea that Luxu is actually Yen Sid- and as farfetched as it may be to say that… Odin who is assuredly Yen Sid, as well as emblematic of the wandering all father, has a bit too much in common with Luxu. If that is the case and it’s simply the case that Brain is Xigbar himself we also can look at the possibility that Yen Sid (Luxu) and Xigbar (Brain) have been running the long game together, and that Yen Sid has yet to really play his cards.
Have we a true answer yet upon the origins of Disney Castle and why it’s such an important force among the worlds? I think Yen Sid, or Odin is the only one who can answer that.

I think we can be somewhat confident that Luxu is not Odin, seeing as Bragi!Luxu interacted with Odin? Unless you think that he goes back in time to become Odin? But, how would this be achieved? ... actually, I have to admit that I'm a little unclear on how the time travel *to the past* is achieved. I know Maleficent did so when her, heart was removed, I think? And Young Xehanort went back to his own time when [I don't know what sent him back.].

@@drdca8263 No time travel required. There is nothing that directly makes evident that Luxu of UnionX is the same person as Bragi or Xigbar. In fact, I’d say there’s more reasons to doubt that being the case. Technically, Braig isn’t even the same person as Xigbar so chew on that one…
The reason Luxu almost certainly is Odin is because Odin is privy to information that the Master of Masters ONLY told Luxu- that is the fate of all of the 13 Darknesses. Also, is it not just a little bit suspicious that Odin, a Keyblade Master, failed to see that one of his students was possessed of another Heart in disguise?
You see I was almost defeated in thinking that Bragi wasn’t Luxu- but in a lot of ways that can still be true as there’s not actual hard confirmation it’s the same person. Before Dark Road I was certain Odin was Luxu and that Bragi was just a red herring, and after reflecting on the conclusion, I still think this to be the case.

Also, Odin describes his knowledge of the 13 darknesses in a way that really seems like a lengthly chain of retellings (though I admit that could be an act so this isn't a strong point), and where he is uncertain of stuff.

@@drdca8263 Bragi can’t simply be Brain? Who shares a similar name, along with Braig, then Xigbar?
Odin knows something that is privileged knowledge. It’s not even just told as a retelling- he’s saying information the Master directly told Luxu. Not only that, but by interview, Nomura has state that Odin was “given a task by his Master”. Right now, only Luxu fits that criteria- if not without Missing Link’s context. Further, using the name Odin- Odin is the All Father of Norse mythology. If Odin has a Master, his Master has to be someone who supersedes that title- Someone like the Master of Masters.
