Hi All! Mindy here: Bob thanks for sharing my rig on your channel. I am approaching my second year of living on the road "Out Of" my 2003 Honda Element. I am having the BEST time of my life seeing new places, meeting Beautiful people and finding myself at 56. If any of this video resonated with you, my advice is Go For It! Life is short, and the boxes that society puts us in are TOO restricting. The Road Heals! Happy Travels Everyone! xoxo!
😮 i like her setup. The only thing i don't like is thst she has to access everything from the outside. That wouldn't work for someone in cold weather. Showering and cooking in the cold.
I love the fact that she is using a cooler as a toilet. I saw a round cooler that stood the same height as a 5-8 quart size bucket and was made of metal. It was strong to hold me and gave me the ideal to use as a toilet. I can sit on it too or use it as an ottoman as well. I love multi functional things. Lol
I'm really impressed. One smart lady. I especially noted that she "beefed up the suspension". So many people don't worry about this, unfortunately. Driving over rating is both dangerous and will significantly reduce the travel life of your vehicle. Her cabinetry is out of this world.
I’ve watched this ladies TH-cam channel a quite a few times, and she has always had a welcoming and friendly attitude…. Also good ideas and hacks .Thanks for the the tour 👍
I love your Honda Element build! I toured in a band in the 90's all over this country, but I remember a winter tour from FL to NY in a '82 VW Westfalia. I was also doing van life long before it was trendy. I have no YT videos from back then to prove it, but I have a lot of great memories though.
I would recommend unwashed fresh eggs for keeping at room temp. I got really, really sick on store-bought eggs the first time I kept eggs unrefrigerated. I have Falken tires, too, and love them.
I’ve had 2 Elements and loved them! I can’t believe how sweet this build is you’ve done. Makes me want another one! I loved camping in mine. Great job on how comfy you’ve made this!!❤
Awesome video! Thanks so much for sharing! I bought my Element in 2006 with 21 miles on him. 17 years and 192,000 miles later, the thought of giving him up is unbearable. 😢 You've given me hope that he still has some "oompf" left in him! 😊 Safe travels!
Wow, same thing happened to me, about selling high and fast with nowhere to go. I toyed with doing the traveling. I’d been following Van life and tiny living for years.when faced with the chance I couldn’t toss everything. I packed 3 large containers and the cost of keeping it all in storage motivated me to buy regardless of how high. So I’m still living vicariously through these road warriors. Made respect to you all. ❤
Your purple potty is hilarious!! Love it. I cant wait for the day i can "roll on" i have that shower i "play in" in the summer at home when its hot...with a shower tent so neighbors dont have a hissy...LOL.
I love this chic's attitude. I'll actually check out her channel cos of her attitude alone. I'm not really into the interior set up (too fancy for me) but I love how practical she was to mod the car's performance capabilities
She's got it going on!! It would be a dream to have 2 vehicles to live and travel in, and she just showed us all how it's done! Excellent choice of vehicles.. I like her style!! Thanks, Bob, for introducing her. This is giving me ideas!!! 💙💙
I had my Eement 15 years. Stayed looking like brand new the whole time (no rust anywhere!). Was the best vehicle ever. The seats turned into beds as well. I miss mine! I had just under 300k
Eggs you buy from a grocery store need to be refrigerated. The protective coating eggs have been hatched are washed off grocery store eggs so there’s nothing preventing bacteria from entering the egg. Eggs bought from a farm or a farmers market that have not been washed do not have to be refrigerated.
I wish I had cabinets like that. Maybe someday. I mainly just want the kitchen stuff, the pullout divided drawers and counter that she has in the back.
She is so knowledgeable about the inner workings of her vehicle. I could learn a lot from her.She was using automotive lingo I never heard of before. She is bad a$$!
Great interview with Mindy, she’s so sweet. 😊 Follow her, love her, she has many wonderful places and ideas for a full and beautiful life and experiences ❤❤❤ Susie from Michigan 😊❤
I'm going to be forced to live this life when my mom dies and I have nowhere else to live but my car, but I just can't get over not having a flushable toilet or a sink to wash my hands. God help me !
You can definitely put a sink in your car. Look at “solar car camper” channel, he shows an easy one and he had it in both a Camaro and a surburban. The flushing toilet issue, you can get a RV toilet but you’ll have to dump it. Or use public restrooms. Good luck!!
Which would you rather have? A $6 bucket with cat litter, a container of handiwipes, and freedom, possibly to pursue your dreams yet unfulfilled, or $150,000 worth of rent receipts, memories of working around the clock in all kinds of weather, and making it home just in time to say goodbye to your favorite pet? I plan to choose the bucket and wipes very soon...and make no apologies.
You can get a planet fitness membership.. they are 24 hrs and start saving money now so you can get a vehicle big enough to be comfortable in. “Living like this” is an insulting thing to say because I have never felt so free and I been living in my van for a year and I’m only thinking of ways to be a bit more comfortable.
I miss my Element! Totaled in car accident in July .. During COVID my catalytic converter was stolen 3 times, thankfully I still had it fully insured..
Beautiful! So excited for me and me. I plan on hitting the road in 1.2 yrs. Wd you be willing to share the contact info for the feller who did the interior build for you? Safe and joyful travel to you!!!
The element is a great platform and I like the way you laid it out. I drive them exclusively… I ‘ve owned three. That said… for me I think I’d have a small , high clearance trailer / dolly to move some of that weight off the vehicle… but that is just me worrying keeping the motor cool. Great build. Lastly.. I think of on demand all wheel drive as ‘front wheel drive assist’. fwd starts to pull and rears come in if the fronts slip… I think. ..

I Love your bathroom w/ labels! TY for sharing your rig.
😮 i like her setup. The only thing i don't like is thst she has to access everything from the outside. That wouldn't work for someone in cold weather. Showering and cooking in the cold.
Love the ladies signs on your “bathroom”
Pool noodle....clever. I love diy ingenuity. She made a real nice rig
I love the fact that she is using a cooler as a toilet. I saw a round cooler that stood the same height as a 5-8 quart size bucket and was made of metal. The Honda Element is the best ❤
“ I want memories I don’t want things “. Amen to that !❤
Articulate, intelligent and, well organized. Have fun and, don't go back to sticks & bricks. You have found freedom!
Heather🇨🇦
What a great lady! So positive. I can tell she is having the time of her life!!
Haven't seen her in a year, fun coming across her again.
I love seeing Element builds, Honda really could bring it back with success given the popularity of camping and overlanding being so big right now
If Honda made this a 4x4 option (like the mods this chic made) they'd make a killing
What a bright personality!!! And, sense of life. And, love, love, love the Element. Greatest car ever for fun!!!
Loved everything about this video. She’s got a wonderful attitude 😃
😅 I love the pearls! Classy lady! And the "Ladies" room is spectacular! And i have a good square cooler to use... Great build!
I love her outfit & the stable square small cooler idea as a 🚽.
Omg! This is the cutest Nomad I’ve ever seen and she was full on flirting with Bob. 😊 OMG, loved her! I’m totally checking out her channel too
I'm really impressed. One smart lady. I especially noted that she "beefed up the suspension". So many people don't worry about this, unfortunately. Driving over rating is both dangerous and will significantly reduce the travel life of your vehicle. Her cabinetry is out of this world.
I was impressed also that she covered all her basis. And her home on wheels is just as good if not better then a small RV
I’ve watched this ladies TH-cam channel a quite a few times, and she has always had a welcoming and friendly attitude…. Also good ideas and hacks .Thanks for the the tour 👍
How does she use the stainless steel hydration jug to micturate into? (wondering if it's the same way I use mine; I live in a van.)
She did a nice job thanks for showing about your swivel set
I love your Honda Element build! I toured in a band in the 90's all over this country, but I remember a winter tour from FL to NY in a '82 VW Westfalia. I was also doing van life long before it was trendy. I have no YT videos from back then to prove it, but I have a lot of great memories though.

100%, when she said that I was in shock. USDA eggs needs to be refrigerated because of how they are processed.
I’ve had 2 Elements and loved them! I can’t believe how sweet this build is you’ve done. Makes me want another one! I loved camping in mine. Great job on how comfy you’ve made this!!❤
This is wonderful! Very planned out. Love the organization 😊
Wow! The cabinet work is spectacular. And the swivel seat! I wonder if anyone makes something like that for other cars.
Smart build, and smart (& experienced) woman. Thanks for the tour!
I love that she's having soooo much fun!!! I didnt know that the Honda Element can get up to 600K miles!
Totally agree.
looked at when i had 2 big dogs
I really love that she was abke to create a tiny home for !herself!! In this tiny element!! ❤
It's nice to see a nomad in a pretty dress for a change.
This person is a planner…… very impressive. We have a 2009 CR-V with the same drivetrain with almost 190,000 miles. It has been incredibly reliable
Great setup. 😊
Amazing build! Thanks to Mindy for sharing and TY Bob for posting.

Impressive!!!!
Love the dress!!!!! Also I did the same thing with my cooler!!! Minus the pool noodles. LOL!!! Love it ❤❤❤❤
I have a 2005 EX, and I love watching videos like this for inspiration. I'm looking forward to finishing my build and giving a tour of my own!
Wow, same thing happened to me, about selling high and fast with nowhere to go. I toyed with doing the traveling. This lady got it going on. She knows what she wants in life and reaches for the gusto.🎉

This woman is amazing. So organized! Be safe ❤& enjoy life 😊👏👏👏👏👏👏
The Honda Element is made in that straight up and down way that makes it easier to arrange, store, and fit your life into.
I'm really inspired by Mindy's design and modifications. Definitely going to check out her channel, Ninth Element.
Thanks for all you do for us, Bob.

Classy nomad. Nice efficient build. Luv the ladies room!
Amazing and classy
Awesome lady with a tremendously positive personality. Keep on truckin.
What a delightful woman! Love her dress!
She is bad
a$$!
Love the swivel seat. IMHO they're an absolute necessity in small campers
Fabulous!!! Niiice! Love your "bathroom", complete with signage!!!
Another great video, Bob. Thank you.
An amazing designed build HOW!
I love this woman's van but I agree: She has to do everything and access everything outside, in the weather. No room to cook inside.
She's so sweet :) Wonderful build!
Watched her pull away from her home when she sold it. Saw videos in Florida too. Love this set up.
Wonderful rig. Liked the bathroom set up and vehicle body mods.
Your build would be epic in a 4-runner nicely done
Great interview with Mindy, she’s so sweet. 😊
Follow her, love her, she has many wonderful places and ideas for a full and beautiful life and experiences ❤❤❤
Susie from Michigan 😊❤
Ill never look at an element the same way again. Good job 👍
That’s a really nice off road rig. Everything was done very professionally.
Love your femininity. That is totally me when I'm camping in my summer dress.
That’s a great rig! A nice way to live.
The BEST organization in a vehicle! Way to go!
She's all dressed up. Bob's all dressed up. I'm in pajama I haven't washed in a minute.
She definitely has her camping ‘act’ together. She spent her home sale money wisely.
Amazing lady!! So organized!! ❤
Wow , those ideas are totally awesome

You can do these things watch more videos. Best wishes ❤
Keep watching happy van/car dwellers. You will love the life if your careful

That is amazing!! Has everything you need !! 👍👍
Im so with you on the memories vs things
The element is a great platform and I like the way you laid it out. I drive them exclusively… I ‘ve owned three. That said… for me I think I’d have a small , high clearance trailer / dolly to move some of that weight off the vehicle… but that is just me worrying keeping the motor cool. Great build.

Love this rig!
She's adorable.

Great video 😊
