@@johnlomuscio4521 Metal Gear 1 & 2 we're created before and take place before most of the Solid games excluding MGS3/ Peace Walker & MGS5. So MG1 & MG2:SS are prequels to MGS1/2/4.

Bro is literally hacking you can't fire and move in MGS1.
You can, you run & shoot by holding the Crouch button whilst holding the Firing button while aiming/firing.

Yes, it does work. Just did this strategy on PS5 Master Collection and worked just fine.
