It is a gift to the world that Roger and Brian are still willing and able to bring Queen's music to the people introducing new generations to to Queen's masterpieces. The sounds Brian can wring out of his Red Special are incredible! The Red Special, being played by Brian May is clearly one of the wonders of the world!
@mjk3mjk3. So true! And that's what Freddie saw in Brian's talent, long before Tim Staffel left. & unlike the 2018 movie, they all knew each other as they each had been in several other local bands in the local neighborhoods .., Brian's talent was screaming to Freddie's musical knowledge "I must join these musicians". He never dropped his pursuit of Brian & Roger. What a blessing that Freddie stuck to his belief in them. And Freddie's voice improved over the years by his own work. Listening to my vinyl SHEAR HEART ATTACK & other very early vinyls, then hearing Freddie sing the same songs in his 30's & 40's, he learned to control his voice & became the velvet toned performer he is so admired for. Roger has attested to this in many interviews, Brian too, saying how Freddie literally taught himself to become an unmatched vocalist. Remember, his parents took him to the opera often as a child & a teen. That must have helped him learn that voices can be controlled significantly to improve it. Being the perfectionist he was, Freddie became one of the greatest vocalists of all time according to the experts' interviews over the last 50 years. One music commentator said that his wife was in the very, very back of the crowd at Live Aid & could hear every word Freddie sang as clear as a bell all the way back there, as well as his verbal chatter & his "Ay- Ohs" she said his personality was enchanting as well.. he stood out among all those other performers to billions of listeners. Queen showed the planet how extraordinarily talented they ALL are. If God would allow it, myself & others would gladly switch places with Freddie & give our life to bring him back. But we can't, so let's continue keeping him 'alive' by playing his music & letting our friends & our grandchildren hear all of their music made by Queen when Freddie was with them. And don't forget the solo albums.... Treasures forever. We'll never forget you & your beautiful soul, Melina....
Meravigliosa musica da brivido

The best guitarist and the most underrated drummer in rock history
You can talk about underestimation as much as you like, about Brian and Roger still took their place in the history of rock!
Hes not really too underrated. I mean a small bit but not that much.
Oh wait nvm, you said history. So yes in rock history.
@@tituspittenger1831 what has been underrated about Roger Taylor ??? He is greatest drummer I've ever heard !!! Who is better?
@@sasunshine5866 Im saying people underrate him, smh. Underrate means they dont praise him enough for his talent
Nobody but Brian May is able to make a guitar sound like a crying violin.
Love Queen!
Selah: Are you aware that Brian May plays using a sixpence (coin)?
How cool is that!!
Brian’s playing left me emotionally speechless...absolutely amazing....
Clapton or Gilmour definetly can too
And Harrison could as well
But there are/were very few
OMG 😥
Wow. Just wow!
So much emotion! I love Roger! I love Brian! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Y Mr. John Deacon también ❤❤❤❤
Only Brian May can reduce me to tears like that with his guitar solos. He hasnt lost his touch!
Greatest guitar player ever! Amazing how these three got together - they were all fabulous in thier own way - Rog and Bri still are!
I'm watching this July 2nd 2020 -
(Dr) Brian May is still playing solos and probably playing better since they have a Brilliant Front-man with Adam!
NO-One is trying to replace Freddie, but they have been playing LIVE gigs again

That was wonderful! Tom Chaplin, my hat is off to you sir! That song is not an easy one to pull off, and you sure it. Brian and Roger still sound fantastic.
I believe Last Horizon is the most beautiful, haunting guitar piece I have ever heard. Monumental Dr. May!
Oh that song is so beautiful
@@patabramsabrams4052 Live absolutely. I listened to the studio version a little while ago, and it is much more a blues number if i remember correctly.
10:30 Tom Chaplin. Wow! Great performance of one of the most emotional songs Freddie ever wrote. Just amazing. 😊❤️
Sorry to correct you, but Roger wrote this. They sound great don’t they?
@@MissMaggie246 Sorry to correct you but Freddie wrote It’s a Hard Life, not Roger. I’m 100% sure of this. It’s one of my favorites he ever wrote and yes, Tom did an amazing job. Almost as good as Freddie although he sounds nothing like him. (Check out the credits on the album if you don’t believe me. It’s on The Works.)
Wow, you sound pretty sure of yourself! No arguments here…you must be right. Merry Christmas to you!
@@MissMaggie246 He's right, Freddie wrote it. Brian mentions it in the commentary of Greatest Video Clips when he says he was mortified when Freddie told them his idea for the video clip
Thank goodness Roger and Brian are still together. Roger with that slightly gravelly voice goes perfectly with Brian’s smooth voice. Yes the wonderful Red Special. The sound of those notes makes me hold my breathe, just in case I don’t hear a great high screeching notes. Beautiful.b w a❤❤
When Queen start playing "We will rock you" you have to stand up and clap your hand. That's an eternal law!
Y los pies también 😅😅😅
Yes !!!❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

Chaplain was perfect for his vocal contribution. Brian oh Brian how you and Red make beautiful music 💞
Brian and Roger are national treasures, so talented. Love to hear them sing, too, and they have written such beautiful music.
Roger has a beautiful voice.

When ever I watch Roger & Brian I feel like crying 😢
I'm Russian. I served in the Soviet army when Freddie died ... It was very hard for me, but his friends continue his songs ... Thanks to them !!! ;)
I feel it too, man.
from Russia too. Was it the correct deed to save THE QUEEN as the band without their Legendary Frontman Singer Freddie? So simple.. and so HARD question...
Nirvana, the Doors, Joy Division ans othrs didn`t do that.... As well as John Deacon left his teammates` Project...

I too feel and I cry I just can see how much he is missed
Best Guitarist ever. The way he makes the guitar sing just fills me with emotion.
Nice voice Roger Taylor and Brian May fantastic guitar man.. The Original Queen ❤❤👏👏

Much as I love Brian and Roger, can't help but tear up missing Freddie. His imprint is in all their songs.

Totally agree. Tearing up as I write this.💕
@@redrheino John don't care. He's got millions in his bank.
Tom Chaplin really did It's a Hard Life justice, I have to say. What a song!
That's the closest I'd heard anyone come close to Freddie's voice but there will never be another Freddie Mercury.
you have not heard Marc Martel then...
You must listen to Marc Martel. Chosen by Roger Taylor himself to be the lead voice for a Queen tribute band and then to do Freddie's voice in the BohRap movie.
man after all these years, brian and the red special still rock

The cover of It's a Hard Life, with Tom Chaplin was excellent! He got all the right intonations, emotions, and range. Great intensity.

Tom Chaplin did a great job with It’s A Hard Life. His vocals sound amazing and very well controlled for this song, his voice blends in rather well with the rest of the musicians.
Thank you Brian and Roger for keeping playing. I love you...❤
Brian nearly forgot to get to the microphone and sing :) you're such a legend Brian
I miss John Deacon and RIP Freddie Mercury I love you two

How fun it is to see Brian in his element. I bet, he practised days for this, just to get everything this perfct. What a musician!
Roger has evolved into a suave and debonair mature guy but with that twinkle in his eyes.
