Caress looked SO pretty here. Never seen her look better in another scene. Why didnt she have more story and stay on through season 9?
As i understand it, she was brought I as an emergency fall back. At the time, Joan Collins was demanding more money and threatening to leave the show if she didn't get it. They brought in Kate O'Mara as Caress as a character to replace Alexis if Joan Collins did leave. In the end, Joan Collins stayed so there was no immediate need to keep Kate O'Mara in the show.

Oh, well, maybe enough Coloradans in the state for it to make a profit. They may have not been known throughout the country, but certainty in Colorado.
One constant ridiculous and campy thing about Dynasty.
Wherever the plot requires it, there are reporters and publishers acting like the Carringtons and the Colbys are huge celebrities. Publishing books about them, showing them on TV news for the smallest occasions.
And all that is immediately forgotten as soon as the plot requirement passes - and nobody will ever treat them as people known ever again. Not until the script involves reporters another time, and so on.
She seemed pretty stiff with the hood on a bet she had to make sure not to get any make up on it ha ha
