Water painting is 100000% more complex than oil painting,I mean you can't do many mistake you have to be very precise and focused while you paint something,once you loose your concentration it means you loose your painting.
In oil painting you can omit your mistake and do it again and again but in water colours you have to have the real sense of accuracy.i maybe wrong here,but this is what I anticipated.

((I’m also interested in learning the names of the other blue colors (Windsor Blue, Prussian Blue, Ultra Marine and -was it Cobalt blue?) and then last color on the right, which I didn’t actually see you use-was it Sienna or perhaps Burnt Umber?))

Lovely portrait. I have been trying to use your technique of layers of washes on the face before the details. My washes are still a little streaky and I am guessing I need to get the paper wetter. Hope to achieve your freshness and softness.
