I built this ship. BRAVO! The speed is crazy. The top speed is even better, just solo. I did replace the ballistics with the oblidirator turrets so I don't need Y. I encourage everyone to build this. It's pretty easy if you have a outpost shipbuilding. Also pirate a Vista 3 for the Bridge if you don't want to go to Deimos. The Cons; you have to manage your cargo by switching to bigger ship, dumping your stash, then switching back. I'm working on my payload skill to improve that. Anyway, well done!
Nice! I'll have to figure out which vendors sell each part that you mentioned and try this. I'll SAVE 1st of course. That way if it doesn't work out for whatever reason, I don't lose all that $$$$$.
I have built several other ships that others have designed and really admire the amount of research done to find out what parts do what to maximize the outcome. I have another ship that is also a beast in battle on a very hard difficulty setting but I have never seen one with a 100 mobility like this one. I didn't realize the difference it would make combat. Really wish I had the patience to start from scratch but man I doubt that I could ever improve on what some others have done.
Great explanation on everything. I will build a ship with that equipment. Just a side note you have the shield bug going on there with 3200. The max you can normally get is 2880 . Unless Vasco is giving you love that isn’t suppose to happen if you have Omari already.
Thanks! Great catch on the shield bug. One of my ships even reached over 4,000 shield health at one point…at least it wasn’t going the other way. I still cannot believe that bug exists.
Amazing build. I didn't do the vanguard missions when building this so I used a different weapon. I built this twice in the past two ng+. Lol I just use the frontier to create this. I usually like a ship with an armory, infirmary and a workshop. I usually use one of the Cobat bridge with the hope tech landing bay. I usually have it set up with no ladders. I'll be definitely using this build in the following ng+ Thank you for the information. I watched other videos of yours and I definitely trust your information than anything else.
Good info, would benefit more from a stripped down build that didn't have any paneling - though ship looks amazing, reminds me of the Amaar missile frigate from Eve (arguably the coolest looking ship in game).
I feel like once you can mount Particle Beam Turrets on a ship being maneuverable is no longer a concern. Jump in, Turrets auto fire at anything in range, your are done.
How do the SAL 6830 Engines (for those that don't know, you can only get these at Stroud-Eklund on Neon after you complete a certain part of the main quest) compare to your engines? The reason I ask is because each of the 6830 engines only use 2 power, so using only 4 engines would give you 4 power units to use on your weapons. Nice build, btw.
Thanks! This is a great question. The SAL-6830s, if you equip your ship with the maximum 6 that you are allowed (as they only use 2 power as you mentioned, and you’re allowed up to 12 power to allocate to engines), provide the most maneuvering thrust of any engine configuration. What that means is that you can maintain higher mobility with a higher mass. Because of this, where I’ve found they are the most useful is on ships with large amounts of cargo, as they keep your mobility higher even with all of that mass. I outfitted my Millennium Falcon build with SAL 6830s to max out shielded cargo space and maintain high mobility: th-cam.com/video/6SjIqV7HiOw/w-d-xo.html. That said, their top speed is the slowest, along with other Class C engines. Generally speaking, Class C have a top speed of 130, Class B at 140, and Class A at 150. The White Dwarf 3015s, for whatever reason, are the only engines that beat out even Class As, with a top speed of 180. I’ve found that top speed, plus the extra boost from having Sam Coe on your crew, plus having a top Engine Systems skill that breaks enemy target lock when you boost, makes a ship like this build near unbeatable. But for ships with high mass, like cargo haulers, the SAL-6830s are generally the best. And also very expensive.
Thanks for the response! Im going to do a test on both engines and give you a comparison--top speed, top booster speed, how long the boost lasts, how far the boost takes the ship (it may take a while cause those 6830's are gonna set me back over 300k lol)@@ShipTechnician
I build this ship for running new game plus when I’m just getting the artifacts and powers. It’s easy to build, pretty inexpensive, and like he said it’s just not fair. I only run two weapon groups but it’s plenty still
This build looks awesome. Whats the best place to start with it though? Given that Beth in their infinite wisdom decided it was a good idea to offer no place with all parts.
Very nice build. But I just need a ship I can feel safe in. I bought the Narwhal which already comes with the J-52 Grav. Then put on the KE-42 Cannon Turrets, the PBO-300 Auto Turrets, the Atlatl 280C missiles, the Assurance SG-1800 shields, 4 Nova 1050 engines, and the SF-40 Sheared Flow Reactor. This ship can take on 3 Guardian VI starborn ships in a level 75 system and come out on top every time. I might not be able to jump into Kryx and take on the entire Crimson Fleet solo. But hey. I do feel safe in the ship nonetheless.
That’s a strong ship, nice work. If it fit your aesthetic, consider upgrading the KE-42 Cannon Turrets to the Obliterator 250MeV Alpha Turrets. Ballistic weapons primarily damage enemy hull, not their shields, so ballistic turrets are mostly wasting ammo until the enemy shields are depleted. The Obliterator Alpha turrets damage both shield and hull, and do more damage per second than the KE-42s to both. Not that it sounds like you need it, your ship is a tank already.
After my 30 days 😂 of Playtime I was going to build something close to this on one of my NG+ runs maybe using the Razorleaf, thx for the Pinch8a analysis!! I do NOT have Astrodynamics maxed so Im curious how close I can get to your Build🎉

If im being honest i mod the game to overhaul ship building and dont use new weapons i have to try super hard to under power my ship due to useful brigs so i can disable and board ships to send them to my ships jail. I love that. But its easy to max out damage for me its even harder to balance hull damage and shield/engine damage to knock it out just enough to board them. Also i go for super low powered weapons on massive builds to strech out my crew each weapon adds crew members to not make my ship feel so empy. Currently on my modded star eagle its got like 18 crew m class reactor 3 brigs 2 2x3 mess halls a 2 teir glass pannel rec room for inmates lol whole bottom level is jail only accessible by one of two elevators and top two levels are luxury living habs luxury banquet mess hall with a 3x3 pool room and glass matilija bar on very back on top of prison rec room. I built this ship and added 2 Habs on the sides to form a y and get my work bench and pharmacy bench. It's was great template to modify for my specific needs. In fact I use it to build multiple ships around the Slayton class engines. Speed kills in this game.
Good job and design, but I wouldn't boast that it's the most powerful or the best. It's small, has class A engines which although they are fast are much lower in engine health than the SAL 6830's. If you plan on running from other spaceships....that's cool, but hanging around when 4 to 6 C class ships are attacking ...foget it. I know because I had a ship build with those engines and I kept the mass down so I had 100 percent mobility. You won't have 4x 1480 cargo holds either. Having played at least 10 hours a day since the game came out (well over 2,000 hours), and having spent hundreds of hours in ship building, I know stuff many others don't know. My modified Star Eagle is WAY more powerful, can haul a lot of cargo, has 6- SAL 6830 engines, Pinch 82 Reactor, J-52 Gamma Grav Drive, 9360 Cargo(with my level 4 skills), rated for 12 crew (game only allows 8 plus Sarah), 3040 shields (with perks), 2 x 280 C missile launchers, 4 x PBO 175 auto Hellion Beamers, 2 x Nullifier 1750 suppressors; all ship weapons skills maxed out. I rarely need to use the Atlati missiles. I dial down the power to the Hellion Beamers to about 2 bars when I want to take over a ship in space. I knock down their shields and then pound their weapons and engines with the suppressors. Mass is 4000; Mobility 100; Hull 1517 I use the C4 Bridge and my ship has no ladders. 3 All in One Berths, work shop, 2x2 Battle Stations, control station. I think my Eagle would mop the Galaxy with your ship...or any ship for that matter. Every once in a while the game throws fleets of C class Va'Ruun ships at me and I mop them up. I have a lightweight Star Eagle that is faster and fun to fly, but takes a beating when attacked by 4 ships or more at the same time.....I have to run like H.E. double tooth pics to keep my shields up sometimes. I prefer the C4 Bridge over the Deimos for it's center Pilot seat, visibility, Stairway, but I do wish the Deimos bridge came in a smaller design and with stairs to the lower deck and better visibility.
Every few weeks I see a comment similar to yours and it genuinely makes me smile. You have built an incredibly powerful ship, and clearly are proud of it. Powerful, powerful, powerful... Can you do a good combat ship with decent cargo, please? (a good for everything). I'm searching with about ~8000 cargo without skill bonus. Please !
For that much cargo you’re likely looking at C Class engines. I made a video of a Destroyer build that can handle a lot of cargo and also has top tier parts: th-cam.com/video/bFAG9tfJUmU/w-d-xo.html My initial Millennium Falcon build also used C Class engines and had lots of cargo space: th-cam.com/video/o0udXlubsLE/w-d-xo.html I have quite a few B Class engine builds that carry decent cargo, but less than the 8,000 you’re desiring. One of my favorites is the Halo Pelican: th-cam.com/video/4jHXL73F-FQ/w-d-xo.html Or a more recent one is the Mandalorian Kom’rk: th-cam.com/video/ybDmNz5gNG0/w-d-xo.html
At the end of the video it displays each part and how they fit together, most of which you can get at your outpost landing pad. First, go to New Homestead (on Titan, moon of Saturn) and get 2 of the NG-20 Landing Gear. Then go to Deimos (moon of Mars) to get the Ares Bridge. Then I typically make a stop at Stroud-Eklund Staryard in the Narion system to get the Pinch 8A reactor and the weapons. The rest of the build you can complete at your outpost landing pad.
not bad . but it's not the most overpowered . with good talents and parts , you can have more shield , particles damages , reactor , speed and cargo , all of this with 100% manoeuvrability
GREAT, Sam was killed by the hunter. I have to say I really hate this game at some points and the fact that you must kill a starting hero sucks. Run one I killed Sarah, well to be fair I didn't really know it was coming and the I bounded with the sweet snake lover which I also like her combat style. This run I didn't want to kill her and I didn't want to kill Barett because I knew he would be a good crew. Now I can't kill Sam. Why would anyone want a 1000 cargo only ship? Cargo is kind of the only useful thing about ships in Starfield. Ships are where you take your crafting resources everywhere im comfort. Any ship with the top tier engines and particle weapons is endgame, but 10.000 cargo should be minimum 😂
@aaronp3411 that's the spirit 🤣. Who flies those contraptions really? Bolt three different types of particle turrets on and let the opponents do the work getting into range and getting converted to debris. Starfield doesn't want you to fly, it's an orgy of fast travel and loading screens. Fly your backpack if you need to.
@BlueSideUp I actually have 2 ships. A heavy beast with 35k cargo m, for hauling outpost stuff, and a lightweight fighter for hunting other ships. My lightweight ship can actually carry the 35k! Because your cargo moves to the new home ship, even if it exceeds capacity! You just can't add items. So you DO want a 1k cargo ship... with 35k cargo shoved in ;)
This is a fighter ship, not a cargo hauler. I like a ship with around 10k cargo, 100 maneuverability, good weapons so it can fight, but this ship has advantages over mine. It's a better fighter, whereas mine is just all-around good, and more of a mobile player home (has a bed and all the crafting tables). Of course, you have unlimited storage at The Lodge, and all the crafting tables there, so if you don't mind going back, you can sacrifice those things to make a better fighter ship.
stop publishing these fake videos, the game has strict limits on mass and size for ships unless you hack it or install a mod you can't build such large ships, don't deceive potential buyers of a freedom that the game doesn't offer!

For that much cargo you’re likely looking at C Class engines. I made a video of a Destroyer build that can handle a lot of cargo and also has top tier parts: th-cam.com/video/bFAG9tfJUmU/w-d-xo.html
My initial Millennium Falcon build also used C Class engines and had lots of cargo space:

I have quite a few B Class engine builds that carry decent cargo, but less than the 8,000 you’re desiring. One of my favorites is the Halo Pelican:

Or a more recent one is the Mandalorian Kom’rk:

@@ShipTechnician Thanks! I will check that ! But maybe a new one soon? I'd like that too :)
3200 ? Wow !
Have you got a build tutorial for this? 😮
@@ShipTechnician what ship was used as the base? Thanks 😁
Honestly, I started from scratch. The Narwhal has the same reactor, but that’s an expensive ship so you’re not saving money going that route.
Yeah, but all power isn't worth it! Barret and Sam's little brat uber cutesy kid make living in my ship flippin' unbearable!
aaaAAAAAA!
;)
S
cool!
S
not bad . but it's not the most overpowered . with good talents and parts , you can have more shield , particles damages , reactor , speed and cargo , all of this with 100% manoeuvrability
Yeah? Well my starship is bigger than your starship…. And your moms
That means I'm back to killing Sam :( OH well, I did marry her so I guess I can move on now :)
You can save them all in ng+. It's quite interesting.
Parts List??😊
I’ll try to pull this together for you soon!

But very low stats in beauty 😜
My beauty has 91 Mobility, max DPS, and 8000 Cargo. And i could add 2 maxed Sal Engines for 100 Mobility.
My current barge has a fuzz over 100k cargo after the modifier from the perks. It maneuvers like a city block, but it serves it’s purpose.
So you DO want a 1k cargo ship... with 35k cargo shoved in ;)
@RandomWandrer OMG and if you find a shipping crate with the best ever stuff in it, you can't take it 😲🤣?
This is a fighter ship, not a cargo hauler. I like a ship with around 10k cargo, 100 maneuverability, good weapons so it can fight, but this ship has advantages over mine. It's a better fighter, whereas mine is just all-around good, and more of a mobile player home (has a bed and all the crafting tables). Of course, you have unlimited storage at The Lodge, and all the crafting tables there, so if you don't mind going back, you can sacrifice those things to make a better fighter ship.
Thanks I guess but that was zesty… you didn’t have to throat the mic.
hardly the best...you dont even have the sal 6830s
stop publishing these fake videos, the game has strict limits on mass and size for ships unless you hack it or install a mod you can't build such large ships, don't deceive potential buyers of a freedom that the game doesn't offer!
Nice. Check out the GoldStar DREADNOUGHT. Out now.
