    Easier to get in & out of than a ground hugging velomobile. I would like to see these options become available in Australia. Thanks for sharing 👍

    Good way to transition to a new world paradigm shift.

    What happened to the fully enclosed one where we could fit a dog?

    I'd think doors of sorts would make it more usable as BC gets a lot of rain. No one likes getting wet. The rest of Canada would like some protection against the wind and cold weather.

    This would fit very well into my life, if it didn't cost as much as a smal used car. I do think this is the right format for a velomobile-an upright seating position that is easy to enter and exit, a tricycle design with the dual wheels in the front for better stability. The only thing it could do better is to have a little bit better cargo area design and to have removable doors for weather protection. As a musician, being able to carry my electric bass guitar in a typical gig bag, like a Mono Vertigo Ultra case, is critical. That could be solved probably by offering an optional rear roof panel with a bump that can accommodate the length of a guitar or bass. Plus, I still need to carry my handbag, so there needs to be enough space to accommodate a typical airline underseat "personal Item", in addition to the instrument. Also, better weather protection from the bottom would be welcome. It seems to me that it would be pretty easy to design a fairing panel that would fit underneath. I do question, however, whether the Shimano Altus 9 internal gear hub is really strong enough for a vehicle as heavy as this.

      The designers of recumbent bicycles and velomobiles don't seem to understand that while the recumbent position is more aerodynamic, it's much harder to mount and dismount, and really, no one likes exposing their crotch like that. With a more upright design like the Veemo, it's more comfortable and easier to use, and the full fairing allows a person, particularly a woman in a skirt, her dignity and privacy.

    I like this, but this model isn't fully enclosed which would make it unenjoyable to ride during heavy precipitation and cold winds... and doesn't look like my dog would fit. 😞

      I have ridden a similar (Organic Transit ELF) bike without doors in high winds and rain with little discomfort. In high winds it just slowed down and used more power which required charging the battery for longer. I was pleasantly surprised to find that it was not unstable.

    • @leprechaunchan
      @leprechaunchan 29 วันที่ผ่านมา +2

      I think even Jeep style removable doors would be a big win for Canada. Block wind, rain a bit of the chill. I don't need heated, but many would prolly ask for that too.

      @@leprechaunchanMusher's mittens are great for keeping the fingers warm, balaclava, for the face, and an insulating base for the very cold weather. Some people made rolling curtains out of transparent plastic, but I never felt that they were needed. Pedaling keeps me warm. The biggest problem I had with the ELF was the fragile components which were likely fine for Bicycles but they broke on the heavier ELF. Of course that was because I rode hard and fast on poor roads. Had I followed the Printed Directions there would be fewer failures.
