When it came to the Dio days I was always a fan of the Heaven and Hell as a complete package.
If I had to pick a track other than the title track, it'd have to be Children of the Sea, the dynamics and vocal performance is outstanding.
Dio is a huge inspiration to me, by far one of the greatest rock and metal vocalists to do it!

I think my favorite Ozzy era songs would be Wicked World and Spiral Architect.
I'm a big fan of Dio, through from Rainbow days. Sorely missed.
@@WillyMuffinUK I wish I had the chance to see him live in any capacity. I was a tad young when he last came through my neck of the woods.
His run in Rainbow is flawless in my opinion, and I really loved his stuff with Elf as well.

Instruments are spot on, Vocals are about a step flat i think. Today i cant help but think of War Pigs.
You should have heard the other vocal takes! All I can say is Eb isn't a natural key for me.
@@WillyMuffinUK No sweat, dio is not easy to pull off my friend! and i enjoyed it all the same. The guitar and bass, drums and timing was spot on!
@@WillyMuffinUK Also i would like to recommend you try the ear plug trick. The theory is that 2 ears= 2 sides of the brain, and just like eyes one can be dominate. So in essence one ear can be dominate so try and put an earplug in one ear and sing a bit. If your dominate ear is the one you are hearing from then it could be throwing you out of key a bit. And keep on rocking my friend! I for one enjoy them, as well as your RPG vids!
@@xaxzander4633 Weirdly, although Geezer is one of my bass influences, I've never pulled apart Iommi's guitar work until doing this cover. Learned quite a bit - I probably need to dig into him more.
