Coming along nicely mate.
my entire cubman build was wired with trailer wire.
It makes it so easy and really neat if you don't have to strip the outer coating off.
i was "lucky" @@2wheelworkshop because I was making my entire loom from scratch (not really that lucky) but I could just run a full strand to the front and another two to the rear and just terminate plugs where I needed them.
wiring is a necessary evil but at least you are closer to riding it now. enjoy the rest of the build

I’ve been trying to see what you did with your tubes coming from your crankcase breather?
At the moment I have them venting against the inside of the foam uni filters which works pretty well but I am swapping to mikuni vm34s with corrugated pods so I am going to build a catch can.
I guess you didnt bother with the rpm meter, how did you close of the rpm connector, and is this a gps speedo or still require the cable which is connected on the bike, thanks in advance
What year is the bike? I want that speedo meter for my sx650 1983 model. Is that a digital gauge? Did you buy a conversion cable? Also, how did you get neutral light to work?
Can you make a video on the neutral light and wiring? I am having hard time figuring that out. Also, can you provide the link to conversion cable? I am from new york ☹️. So I will have to find those parts online. Thank you
Thank you so much! I been looking for months how to wire a neutral light. On my bike all the wires are messed up and different colors. I can’t figure out where on the engine is the neutral switch. Thank you! I will wait for your video.
Hey man I’m building a xs650 and I am horrible at wiring. I was wondering if you had a diagram for your wiring?
I just went off the factory diagram and modified it to suit the guage as I went. Sorry mate. The factory diagram is pretty busy but if you spend a bit of time it is pretty easy to break down.
@@2wheelworkshop I guess I should have said I am wanting to use my factory controls like you have but the wiring in the headlights is all disconnected. I need to know what colors go to what so my handle bar controls function. I have looked online but have found no answers.
I made a whole new harness and made up my own colours. I should have recorded what was what as I went but I am probably going to redo the whole lot anyway as I plan on upgrading a lot of the electrics anyway. Your best bet is to get yourself a multimeter and use it to trace all of the wires back to their source. Sorry I can't be any more help.
