Excellent shooting. H4831sc great powder for accuracy and consistency. RL23 and 26 produce excellent velocities in my 7SAUM and .280AI pushing mid to heavy weight projectiles with very good accuracy. Depends on what your objectives are for the load. Either way, great video and will await next one. Thanks again
I have a 26" saum and was able to work up to 3000 at pressure. 2900 was the sweet spot and seems to be a common accuracy node with many different 7mm and 180s.
thank you for the video and look forward to your fine tuning this load. i am curious what the front rest is and hoe you like it over a bag? I bought the same rifle and would love to get all sorts of barrels in a short action...makes for lots of different opportunities.
Fantastic Range results Rob! Well done! Can I ask your impressions on that scope that looks to be an Athlon. Also, which model, as I am in the market to get a new scope. Thank you for your time.
I am very impressed! You should be happy. If you have Staball 6.5 &/HD I would be interested in results with these new ball powders. Well done. Thank you.
Thank you for this sir, I will add this to my small stack of 7 SAUM data. Only data I had on the Berger 180 hybrids was from Capstone themselves and it was only a few powders at a C.O.A.L. of 2.888", and H4831SC wasn't one of them. Wonder what data they gave you 🤔 They did give me a lot of data on the 190 LRHTs though
The G7 bc of that 180 berger is what? .35? I shout 168gr Peregrine Gliders out of my .284win @ 3000ft/sec and the G7 BC is measured at .375 I have made consistent impacts at 1780 yards with this combo.
When you’re worst group is .45 it’s a good range trip 👍👍
The 180 Hybrid and H4831SC was a great combo in a 284 Shehane I had years ago. I think you'll be happy!

Good node some where between 56.2 and 56.7 That barrel likes the 180's with 4831.
Love the 7mm series Rob, keep up the videos! 😁
Coming together 👍
I love that rifle.
good stuff, Ive been runnung a 7 sherman short with reloader 26. Able to get 2800 out of a 20 in barrel with the 180 hybrids
Man you found a good load! We'll see how the H1000 will perform.

I specifically asked them for data for the 180 hybrids. All their data did have very short COAL
@@RobsReloading Yeah exactly, all mag feedable in 2.950 length SA mags. Berger and now Capstone have always been good about providing data when asked
I'm really glad for you man! Congratulations !!
What are you going to shoot it for? NRL Hunter? 600yd MR ? personal ?
If you wanted to shoot 180s why didn’t you build it on a LA so you could feed the longer rounds?
@@Andy-qx9nb I don’t own a long action
Why the extra do you use your thumb to pull the bolt back? It is an additional and unneeded motion
1. I’m shooting off a bench with no time limit so extra motion doesn’t really matter.
2. I use my hand to block the brass from flying all over.
I'd probably give up on all other development and focus on that load if my rifle shot that well haha.

Try N560.
