The "Q". Good to see it out. Yuppers roast chicken is so good and always so easy. When you were closing the lid with the chicken in i thought to myself that grill could use some potatoes and then you went to potatoes, most excellent 😂. Great video. Fyi I really like your "Scroll. Really keeps the story moving, very nice. Have a great day 🌤. 😊

Your channel is the reason we purchased our baby q because you made it look so easy. We’re in Aus, by the way. We take this little one camping wherever we can. Any chance you do some more vids with extra sides dishes? Your cooking times and temps are perfection!

We just closed our cottage for the winter, so I won't be making any grilling videos until April. I'll be doing some cast iron stuff over the winter with sides for sure. Cheers!

Hi Brian. Since you closed your cottage for the season and you 'll be in the city now, I suggest firing the Q again if you still have a fire escape 😁 Happy winter 🌲

The fire escape was at my bachelor pad in Brooklyn. I'm married now and live in Manhattan with no fire escape and nowhere to grill. Cheers Lefterisiliakos!

I poke a series of small holes in the foil, I think it distributes the heat better while keeping the flames off the chicken. Heat the Q up to around 400 put the bird in on a rack and turn the temperature to low, which is around 300f to 325f. Let it go until it gets to 165f, usually takes about an hour and half. Take it out tent it with foil for about 20 minutes.

I used to poke holes in the foil, but I've found it to be unnecessary. I like to roast chickens @ 375 F, but yes, definitely let it rest before carving.

Can you please do a review on the Napoleon grill you got behind you and maybe if you can please compare it to the Genesis as I'm in the market for a new one and those 2 are at the top of my list

We closed our cottage for the season this past week. Either one is a great choice. For the Weber Genesis, I prefer the model right before the newest model... The Genesis II. It's an excellent grill, especially with the sear station and side burner. My Napoleon is the Rogue XT 425 SIB. It's as good, or better than the Genesis II. I like the Napoleon, because I already have two kettles, a Q, and a Go Anywhere and don't want to be too much of a Weber fanboy.

Another fantastic video. That's a nice roasting rack. Is it made by Weber ?

It's just a generic roasting rack that came with a pan I use in the oven.

Hi! Can I use a metal roasting pan (with the roasting rack) in lieu of the double layer aluminum foil? Or is it better to use the aluminum foil? Thanks!

I think a metal roasting pan would work just fine. Cheers!
