    Hi. Just recently purchased my first Weber Q and I'm loving it. You have a really cool channel, some great recipes and simple, easy to follow and strangely relaxing vids. I stayed in Brooklyn last September and loved it. All the best from Australia.

    I agree I don’t know why you don’t have thousands and thousands of subscribers! I love your videos. They’re detailed to the point no nonsense. I was having some difficulty when I replaced an old regular grill and bought the weber Q 2200. With a one burner, even though I can get the temperature down low with just one burner I was having trouble cooking my chicken. Over a couple of your videos you showed me a couple different ways to do it right using this grill. I grill year-round. Thanks for your videos I am using my weber Q with great success thanks to you!

      Too kind. I won't be grilling much for the next few months as we closed our cottage for the winter. But I do have some great recipes on the way you can make in the kitchen. Shooting one tomorrow in fact. I appreciate you watching. Cheers Vicky!

    Not sure who would’ve hit the thumbs down on this video, it’s awesome! I’m in the south where my neighbors would prefer to have that smoke pumping into their yards so I feel for you in that aspect. Great job on the chicken and corn man, keep the content flowing!

    Nice job, the chicken & corn both look great! Another idea to try (not just for the videos) is Cornell/State Fair chicken. That is some yummy stuff too. Not sure how easy it’d be to adapt it to a Q, but I reckon it could be done!

    Awesome grill, I love my red one. I saw a big propane tank in the video, perhaps he hacked his grill to do away with the one pounders.

    • @allaemmel7809

      The tank in the video is a 20# exchange tank. It comes with 15# of fuel (only 3/4 full) for $20 (here in the Detroit area). I found a place that will fill my tank while I wait, to #20 for $9. Shop around.

    Why not cooking directly on the grill?

  • @dylanchadderton1
    @dylanchadderton1 4 ปีที่แล้ว

    the corn looked cooked already before you grilled it plus you only did it for about 7-10 minutes total. Corn usually takes like a half hour on the grill to cook. Were they pre-cooked?

    • @GallaghersGrub
      @GallaghersGrub  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Shucked corn grilled directly over the flames takes 7-10 minutes. Any longer dries it out. In the husk, it would take longer.

    Does your wood pouch ever catch fire?

    • @GallaghersGrub
      @GallaghersGrub  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      No, because there's not enough air in the pouch for the chips to catch fire. If the pouch is really ripped up, then the chips would catch fire, but I don't put enough holes in the pouch for that to happen. No need to soak the chips when used in a pouch.

    • @GallaghersGrub
