  • Beloved Hotel is an all-inclusive, adults only, couples-only resort in Playa Mujeres, MX. About 40 minutes north of the Cancun airport.
Beloved is a part of the Excellence Collection group of resorts.
This video is about the restaurant, food and beverage options offered at Beloved. Although there are only four restaurants listed, there are actually many more food options at Beloved.
There is a French inspired restaurant called Le Bisou, and an Italian inspired one called La Isla Grill Trattoria.
There is Lupita Steakhouse for Steaks and grilled specialties as well as Lupita Lounge with a fresh made-to-order sushi bar.
Additionally, there is El Mar, their beachfront seafood restaurant, a specialty coffee and ice cream shop, a palapa hut on the beach making lunch as well as a taco truck and a beach snacks menu where the servers bring you lunch right to your beach chair. Beloved also has an extensive 24hr room service menu.
There are many high end alcohol choices offered at Beloved. There are also several bars serving some creative and delicious cocktails. They have many fresh juice and smoothie options if you prefer non-alcoholic.
Beloved is a great resort option if you are planning a honeymoon, anniversary or just a little R & R getaway.
Best service we have ever had in 15 years of travel!
This video is not sponsored. We pay for all of our trips ourselves. We booked all of our trips to Beloved directly through the resort website as we have found it to be the best place for pricing.

My husband and I are going to Mexico in about 11 months for our first anniversary/belated honeymoon. And these videos have me convinced that Beloved is likely the resort for us!!!

How was your experience? We are booked first week of November. I'm nervous the pools will be cold and the beach not swimmable making our stay non enjoyable.

@@shanew7361 The experience was great. We went in December and the weather was between 85-90 degrees. Nice balmy weather and cool pools. All around excellent time

We are debating going in November. Is the water and beach here dirty or full of seaweed? Did you have any difficulty making reservations on property or get bored of the food or get the stomach flu from eating, or drinking on property? How long of a walk is it to your room? How well did the AC work? I like a cold room to sleep in, 67F ideally. Is the water pressure low, any limited hot water issues, how well does the wifi work?

I responded to these questions in the comments of the other Beloved video. Hope you got a chance to read them. 😊

@newtravelescapes I did thank you for the input. I'm reluctant if the pool isn't heated and the ocean isn't swimmable.

@@shanew7361 I totally get it! My son and his wife were there in late October and the beach was clear, so much so that they went snorkeling right off of the beach. The pools were great.
Hubby and I were there 3 weeks after them (after a couple of good rain storms) and the seaweed was still minimal but the pools were cold.
It is really hard to decide on something in November.
I was at Secrets Moxche end of last November and all the pools were heated. I had no issue with any of them.
We were at Hyatt Zilara RM in February and although the pool is heated it was still cold because they didn't turn it up (cheap!)
I haven't tried it yet, but the new Secrets Tulum might be worth looking at. It is not on the beach (have to take a shuttle) but because it is not on the beach they may be better at keeping the pools warm enough to enjoy. As I said, I haven't stayed there yet to confirm it.
Iberostar Grand Paraiso spa pool is heated (glass roof pool) and Grand guests can use it any time so if the main pool is too cool that one won't be.
I try and work through this every year when we travel during the cooler months and even when I think I've got it sorted out they change something at whatever resort we decide on. Makes no sense to me as a beach and a comfortable pool is what I'm leaving the cold for in the first place. 😜

@newtravelescapes Interesting, well stated. We've been to quite a few Caribbean islands, but living in MI, the flights are terrible, traveling 12+ hours, usually on the flight back from wake up to home in bed. I was thinking of Cancun due to non-stop flights. The older I get, the more important sleep is in my life and quality of experience. I have a swim out room reserved at Beloved that's refundable, so we shall see 😆 We don't stay at establishments if they aren't beachfront so hard pass on the no beach option and we're accustomed to a high standard of luxury when we travel so we save and plan accordingly.

I’m interested in your thoughts on the Beloved OCEANVIEW terrace suite with plunge pool….what buildings are these in? Best ocean view? Room numbers if possible….
    Thanks

There are not very many terrace suites. A couple terrace suites in each building.
In my opinion, building 1 has some of the best views.
      The terraces are huge! 😊
