"Faker is worth more than any other LCK team" is, to me, perhaps the most obvious statement ever stated. Like, "The Sun comes from the East" kind of obvious. It's Faker. He alone carried a lot of the game's weight and its place in culture. And I mean this with the outmost respect for all these pros.
Tbf, Faker is more than just a player for the team. He's also like their icon and he's in numerous promotional ads/sponsored content. If they're willing to pay him that much, I can only imagine how much money he makes them from brand deals.
@@icecreamcake5381I mean not only are they willing to pay him that much, he has been co-owner since they went from SKT to T1. He is player-executive, his salary is kinda whatever he wants it to be within the overall value he generates.

The fucked part about the Faker salary is that he is probably worth that much. Just the sales in Faker jerseys alone... when I was in Korea I tried buying a T1 shirt for my friend, A GUMA SHIRT, not even a Faker one. And I was never able to find it in stock.
don't forget the ad deals, he is like one of the biggest faces in Korea in terms of celebrity power. he is making T1 more than they could ever pay him (and I'm pretty sure he could take a pay cut and would still stay with the team lol, he is a part owner)

I'm not going to lie, I haven't been a fan of Bwipo for some time, but I wasn't super passionate about it, just thought he had a bit of an ego and could be a bit of an ass sometimes, but overall didn't care that much. But I swear he's just been getting worse and worse. And no, just being toxic for toxic sake is not "entertaining" in content. Friendly rivalries are great, but Bwipo's brand of only ever punching down in any scenario ever is so distasteful. It makes it even worse because of how delusional he obviously is when it comes to his own shortcomings. The thing that broke the camel's back for me was that content piece where pros were reacting to negative comments about themselves, and most people were taking it in good fun while still getting in a few jabs here and there. But Bwipo took it upon himself to use it as an excuse to absolutely lay into Busio for like the entire time. Then it comes around to Bwipo's hater, and it was a comment about the time he got 100 to 0'd while not paying attention and just staring at the other side of the map as GP. A pretty boneheaded play that you'd expect someone to laugh about after the fact. Completely indefensible. And Bwipo's reaction? "I think you don't know what you're talking about." With a completely straight face. No, come on Bwipo. Oh wise one, who understands the game to a level us mere mortals can't. What is the tactical advantage of dying 1v1 without so much of a single attack in response, all so you can think about a GP ult you don't even use. Tell me of the genius of that play.

Are the majority of the LEC pros not mediocre in comparison to the top part of the league? Like G2 won everything and they were on life support for half the year or so.
@@mbrown7325 eu is a 1 team region, has been since fnc 2020. So yea, if you compare everyone to g2, like team-team, then everyone is mediocre. It always depends to what you compare. Eu/na compared to ch/kr are mediocre, exept some players. But bwipo is not one of the so called genius talent players. @@Germanwildcats2 Are we even gonna call G2s performance in the finals a team?

@@iSa_AchT1 would also be down with Rekkles/Smash bot. They would be down the LCK on rank 8 or some shit
Bwipo flamed Soaz but then forgets that he's the reason Fnatic lost the 2018 worlds finals. Heck, he even said in Thoorin's interview that Soaz should've started instead of him
There's literally another clip of him saying that he himself was the worst player in that Fnatic roster in 2018 and he acknowledge that, I don't understand what you're trying to say here lmao
Fun fact)Faker once recorded to recieve highest salary for domestic pro-sports player of korea over kwanghyun kim(former MLB pitcher) who’s salary was $6m
bro thought winning LCS meant something. Womp womp
they can never make me like you Bwipo
what winning LCS does to a pro
That bwipo guy mustve been drunk or high 😂
basically youre just looking out for bwipo because he's not controlling his emotions and making enemies when he doesnt need to do that
I mean, the lec has been in a hard downward trajectory for 3(?) years now. It's more than just vetheo who deserve the flame. There's teams that think a players nationality is more important than a players play. It is disgusting to watch unfold
Honestly seems like he’s got some shit going on irl, maybe with his relationship or something. Would explain the strange crying.
I just can’t stop myself from hating bwipo and Adam for there personality, but I already feel bad for bwipo.
The moment he fails at worlds, the community will go ballistic
wait why Adam? What happened? I'm new to esports 😅
@@Clov3rleaf Adam is a misogynist piece of %$*! who got KC fans to harass Upset and his wife for over a year.
@@Clov3rleaf He had some ego trips and anger issues about 7-8 months ago, and after his continuous incompliance with his team and the coach, he got benched for a while. I don't think anything similar happened afterwards though. He publicly apologized, and was never benched again.
@@leontrotsky6530 bit longer even all started back when he was in fnc they went worlds the upset "drama" happend and adam cause upset didnt trust him wiht his private stuff (cause he litterly was almost a kid - just turned 18) started upset flaming for it and giving him flag for them not going far in worlds - towards a player that pretty much worked his whole carrier to get to worlds
@@leontrotsky6530 Tbf it is apparently known that he is not the only player with anger issues, BDS just made it public with Adam by trying to find a solution: benching him. And you said it yourself, he was never benched again because he was so ashamed of letting his team down on a very important game (he said it himself). Players with issues just won't solve thoses themselves because they know orgs/coaches don't have the balls to bench them
Imagine in another universe this is the start of Bwipos Villain Arc where they actually go on and win the worlds.
I'm the opposite. I think Bwipo is extremely real and based for this and he's probably right.
What you said around 24min, i need to see rekkles lifting the trophy.
WE DID MATE WE DID!
ego isn't gonna get better after they won 2 games against gen.g
Feels bad for scout. EDG owner is petty af. I get that yagao makes the most sense. But him getting a worlds showing after how bad he played is pretty disappointing
Bwipo is just a kid
If you stop to think about it, it's always the mid caliber players that have that kind of ego, i guess it's because they need to prove everyone else that they are a god tier player, since they can't back it up inside the rift
I have been waiting all day to see you react to Rekkles going to worlds
Bwipo got that mike wazowski build
Bwipo started that attitude since he became close friend with LS.
I wouldn’t go near that gaf ( read it backwards) for a second
League influencers: "Why are players so afraid of trash talking? We need some more drama and rivalry!"
Bwipo: *trash talks EU with the same ego he always had*
League influencers: "Not like that!!"
I can assure you guys would have very different words if he was the same but never went to NA
Bwipo on that villain arc to make Fly vs Fnatic the most watched worlds series in years
flaming vetheo makes sense tho
like no way this guy isnt a paycheck stealer like this guy goes from being seeing as good to me forgetting he is in lec
Vetheo is probably the only one that bwipo is right to flame yeah
@@dou5397 i disagree
bwipo is right to flame everyone he does
how he does it is bad
i dont believe he flames people for no reason
@@m1dge250 flaming implies he's doing it the bad way otherwise it would be a criticism. I also think he's really emotional because this year everyone blames Hylissang, all year, and he probably felt like standing up for his friend. Everything else is just unnecessary insults, complains
FAKER: THE 5TH TROPHY IS FOR MY BOY REKKLES.🗿🗿
Like I said on Caedrel's main channel, Bwipo needs his ego checked.
He won LCS, congrats, but that's a minor region trophy doesn't mean shit unless a quick qualification for worlds (wich ends up with a quick airport speedrun for NA).
He got clapped HARD in the last MSI, he was useless and already back then he was the one being mad at his team while he made the worst move out of his entire team. That guy must have a really short memory to not recall how embarassing he was during the smaller international competition.
And yeah, if NA isn't a quick paycheck region what is it.. Old or washed up korean players go there to earn easy millions while playing against mid tier pros, Bwipo did the same, I am sure he knew he could never win against G2.
TBH NA and EU are both minor regions, when they come out of their regionnals they get hard clapped by the better teams of the east, only G2 and TL recently had some nerves and played kinda "good" (in western standards). So IDK who bwipo think he is, trashtalking players that are the same breed as him
Bwipo didnt even win the LCS for them its the Winions 😂
NA is still a better minor region than EU that region is garbage
Hard gapped? Maybe Vs Zeus, but he for sure was stomping the psg toplaner thats for sure
@@fernandocardoso113Considering the PCS is a minor region, and brought which was arguably one of the top 2 teams in the world to a 5 game series, I still think the PSG top laner has more of a solid argument than Bwipo imo
@@fernandocardoso113 Doesn't matter unless he can prove himself during worlds 2024 against the top dogs I wont change my mind about him, he made huge missplays against PSG as well during MSI.
The best players in League, the ones that won the most trophies or have the best skills don't talk like him
gimme a clip of peyz zeus faker zeka or any lck legend currently playing where they trashtalk like him despit them having trophies and numbers to back up their insane feats
EU / NA are bad regions and they have the nerves to act like Bwipo (some players) meanwhile lck people respect each others while winning every tournament
Yall are such snowflakes its crazy XD finally someone speaks the truth about the scene and yall cant handle it
considering the state of the LEC, can you blame him?
His a traitor to his country
yeah considering he is in a region that did nothing for the past 14 season, and the only reason is even at worlds is because a EU jungler is clapping everybody in NA
Trash talks EU, lost to G2 the last time they played KEK
@@matteoalberghini3816I guess that’s why nrg stomped g2 at worlds
@@mezzer34 g2 got stomped by nrg a team that isn’t even in a league anymore 😂😂😂😂
FOR THE BWIPO THING, i totally agree with RatKing, you basically put my thoughts into words, accurately and precisely
such an NA thing to do tbh. bro becomes an import in NA then suddenly takes a piss on eu players forgetting hes literally an eu player. if you wanna give advice and tips to "help the region get stronger", dont be an a$$hole about it? dont be omega toxic to people who are chilling? not tryharding like theyre in fking worlds or some shit? disgusting behavior. no one will take your advice or tips if everything comes with an uncalled for insult
Angry EU fanboy
@@OMAR-vk9pi u can have our eu scraps baby
Yall are so soft when a player talks shit i hope none of you watch actual sports
If soccer or nba players cuss out players like that, they get fined and lose sponsorships. Don't act like other sports are any better lol
I mean people can flame him too for what he says. Don't be soft
But on traditional sports you can get flamed as well, he is just as bad as the people hes shitting on. Western player that gets fisted by every top tier counterpart
Its not about the fans being soft, its about the player being profesional and try to be a good example for players
I bet you are the one KCorp fan booing Faker on the Redbull event 😂
Seeing bwipo cry put the situation into some context. Hope he gets some help. That outlash doesnt come from ego, it comes from frustration and impotence.
That's from Ego anyway, but ok
bwipo is 100% right about pro playing to look impressive instead of playing for the team to win.
Ok but think about it from those players perspective. If they can just farm and never get dropped while raking in 6 figs that’s exactly what I would do. Without a roster spot these guys make 0 dollars, there’s actually no reason to put yourself out there to make mistakes when u can just slowly keel over and make bank
I have seen Bwipo comment on his time at FNC (and the entire connected Nemesis Drama / Nemesis vs. Selfmade beef)
He just stated that he will keep his mouth shut to not trash anybody, which is one way to say the one important thing (things where messed up, like I will not talk about it, this is how messed up things where) whilst also allowing everyone to save face.
Apparently this however is now normal. I really like him and he gave me some great joy during his time at FNC. So I will actually follow his example and not say a word about his comments.
You’re absolutely right, Marc!
I mean IWD has been saying the same thing about EU for the last year and no one bats an eye. Bwipo says names and all hell breaks loose 😂
You talked all nice about Bwipo and inspired earlier this year, and now you finally realize how they have been acting. Emboldened even more now that they won.
