Hardly need to be told how to replace a slat on a blind like that! Those are obvious and easy, they should make them all like that!
How about the fact that he didn’t put the slat back through the original area where the first one came out from
why didnt i think of this! lol my kids mesed up my blinds.. im gonna do this right now lol
wait... nevermind this method doesn't work with regular horizontal blinds :( guess I'll have to find another video

FixMyBlinds i don’t have these, i can’t just slide them out. I have the smaller ones with knots.. but even then i can’t do it because it has plastic in it so I’m stuck can’t fix them have to buy new blinds lol 😆 😪

Hi Rachel, We don't have one that specifically covers slat replacement. But we do have a video that shows how to restring a looping lift cord blind here: th-cam.com/video/xDNzTFX_f7g/w-d-xo.html&ab_channel=FixMyBlinds. Once you have the strings out from the slats, you can easily remove slats/replace slats as needed before restringing it.

Hi there, First, check to see if you have any extra slats at the bottom of your blinds. Sometimes with a little rearranging, you can use what's currently on the blind.
Otherwise, if there's one in your area, we recommend that you contact Bloomin' Blinds. They might be able to special order those for you: www.bloominblinds.com/find-my-location/

How to replace slat on a cordless blind, without the lift strings flying back into the spring coil?
We don't recommend replacing/moving/removing slats from cordless blinds. Once the lifting strings spring back into the top rail, the blind is ruined. Because of that, we don't have any instructions for removing slats from cordless blinds.

You can still replace it; it will just take a bit longer.
FixMyBlinds thank you. The string at the top has come undone. I'm not sure we are able to put it back together.
Have you taken the blinds down yet? The string just may need to be reconnect up inside the top rail of the blinds.
FixMyBlinds No, we haven't taken them down out of fear we will worsen things. If that's an easy task then we can surely try. I'll let you know how it goes. The left side and middle section strings are the ones that have come out of the bar.
Yes, taking them down is the first big thing to try. You may be able to easily reattach the string. I'd give it a shot!

They completely didn't include removing the string running between all of them, vertical.... Then having to run it through all of them again.
This video is for replacing slats when there are not strings running through the middle of each slat (routless slats). The following video is for a mini blind but the process will work for most standard horizontal blinds: th-cam.com/video/hp5yyQZJS64/w-d-xo.html
