This video has been dubbed into a few different languages. You can change the audio track language in the Settings menu.
This video covers how horizontal window blinds work. The mechanism that allows this to work is at the very top. The cord lock allows the blinds to be held up by pinching the lift strings between two rollers. The tilting of the blinds is handled by the wand tilt mechanism or the cord tilt mechanism. These mechanisms turn the gears, which turn the rod, the drums, which pulls the ladder strings to tilt the blinds.

The reason I love these videos are:
    1) They are clearly explained, with excellent animations, to say nothing of the 3D components.
    2) You don't leave anything out. When the video is over you know exactly how it works, with no boxes/mechanisms left unexplained, for those who need a thorough explanation. Even if you forget how it works in the future, and just take it for granted that it does, it's always nice to remember that you knew how it worked at one time, so you know it's not "magic".

(I would guess he works around an hour daily but relaxed, his videos look very passionate, so I think he has a huge fun making them every day, almost like a video game)
All this information is just my guess based on analysing his situation and combining it with my own experience throughout life

Nice! As a suggestion, it would be great to add on the end of this video the automatic controlled window blinds mechanism which uses simple motors to perform the work of opening and shutting. With an app, you can control it.

I've been wanting to create a large pair of articulated wings for a while, and I think I could use the pull mechanism to pull the wings open and closed, and this is really helpful :)

Deeply appreciate your breakdowns of common mechanical systems!
I would love if you did one on tension rods! I know it's a quite simple mechanic involving a spring, but I'm not completely sure on how it works. Would love a proper look inside!
    Thank you for your work!

Jared, thank you for showing me how to fix my blind - it had a jammed tilt string. Your instructions were generic enough for me. I was concerned that a part might be broken, but no thing was broken. Happy me.
