- Everyone has that buddy that has a faster car than them. Mine is @michaelyielding and his Hemi Powered 1968 Dodge Dart Swinger. Michael is a heads up racer and is trying to get to the #nonamenationals this September in Sikeston Missouri, to compete in the 28x10.5 class. I’m really not sure if there’s a car out there that can show up and stop him, but he’s gotta get to 500 subscribers! @johnwilburn

Believe we were the first to successfully run nitrous on a hemi almost 30 years ago, 3400 lbs Cuda ran 8.12 in the quarter on 2 stages of nitrous. That was back in the King of the Street series…

Theres another nearly identical car just ran Tom Baileys Sick Week pulling high 8's in the 1/4. When this vid started I was absolutely certain this was the same car before it clicked that one had a blower on it. Clear intake box, same paint, stripes, everything.. just that shiny blower *barely* poking up from under the hood. This one takes the cake being NA in my opinion. I'm not a fan of the power adders. I've now seen some good walkarounds of my top 2 favorite cars with DDG doing that GTX earlier in the week.

Tilleys in 🇦🇺have black slant 6 vc valiant that pulls 126 mph down the quarter, road registered also . Yes a slant six MOPAR to the front . 👍🏻🇦🇺. Nice DART 🎯 .

Regardless of the rules you definitely need a funny car cage for safety !!

I’m really not sure how the cage has been called into question. And It does have the window net, This cage was certified, date just expired and it just needs to be re-certed. For the speed I’m going it IS OK, 8.50 cage is just getting on the borderline,but I only run 1/8 mile so I’m not getting to those speeds, and it has more bars than required for 8.50. before I go much if any faster I’ve just said I would just like to add some more bars and get a hans instead of my current neck brace. It is safe though. And i do have some chassis upgrades on the horizon because I would like to go much faster.
@@michaelyielding I'm just saying a cage over the head is a good safety feature even if you not exceeding the 8.50 cert.

Rick has been a local Mopar guy for as long as I can remember, he’s always had cool stuff, and absolutely he is someone I would trust more than myself putting an engine together, no detail left unchecked!
