I’ve struggled with addictions and outward sin my whole life-praise God that when I was born again, Christ started to slowly brake these strongholds, but it’s a battle every day. Gossip hasn’t been something I’ve struggled with like other sins I do. But I will say this: I’ve been on the end of slander and gossip my entire life. I’ve been judged severely, gossiped about, and slandered by professing Christians. This is such an evil thing to engage in. You have no idea the damage, and evil that is done to a person by those who struggle with this sin. I beg you, for your own salvation and inheritance-turn away, and repent from this sin.

It is also not a good feeling when others talk about us. Don't do unto others that you don't want for yourself. What goes around comes around. I have experienced gossip against me by my own family members. People no longer talked to me because of things said against me. Shame on the gossipers who allowed their jealousy to lead them astray. And shame on those listening to gossip without questioning the content and source.
I'm going threw the same stuff family members talked about me . But never talked to me if I needed help with anything or if I'm going threw some stuff ... they talked about me when I'm not around ... but are quite when I'm there and never ask if I was ever ok.. jut keep me in prayer brothers and sisters in christ. My situation at the office at the moment. I no longer partake in office politics and gossip, and is now an outcast. being avoided by everyone and given the cold shoulder. I don't care, as long as I please my Father in Heaven I rarely care what others think of me. I used to be one of them, but recently came out of the world again and see things in a different light of late. I do still fall short sometimes, but conviction is so strong that I have to ask for forgiveness each time.
At work, I am dealing with rumors, and gossip going around about me. As to which I might add, are not true. I understand the way it affects my life, and the way it makes me feel. But I noticed with this, I begin to gossip more. So I looked for this video, and I am proud to say that I have no desire to gossip. Regardless of the wrong others are causing around me.

Thankyou. I have been a victim of slander and gossip for the past 3 years. This is also connected to false accusations, my arrest, and an upcoming trial. While I await patiently for my trial date, the same people continue to slander me. I have sought forgiveness for all of my sins. I face my upcoming trial with courage and faith. Just today, those same people are slandering me. However, a chance conversation with a neighbour reassured me that God is still on my side, despite the slander. I attempted to reach out to those who slander me, by showing forgiveness at their lowest time. It still has not stopped them. I can only have faith that God is the righteous Judge, the He will make wrong things right again. My faith is secure. I feel badly for my accuser and the gossips, because I know their time on earth is short. But to God be the Glory, forever and ever.

I've had to endure gossip, slander and false accusations...from those who call themselves "Christians"...for over 45 years. In time, God has grown me up and has taught me to love Him foremost and learn to forgive. Its not easy yet it is right...and its the only way. Job was not cut loose from his captivity and troubles until he prayed for his so-called "friends". Hang in there...God is faithful.
So to to give you an update. In 2021, my case was due to be heard at trial. My accuser decided she didn’t want to testify in court (due to her lies) and also threatened to bring the media into it, which would have adversely affected the outcome. My lawyer and barrister both spoke to the police prosecutor and after an out-of-court mediation, the charges were officially dropped and the case closed. The person who slandered me now has stage 4 cancer. Both he and her have no friends left and all the neighbours avoid them. I was since reconciled with my daughter and I have a second grandchild, a boy. The oldest one is a girl, now attending kindergarten. My daughter is currently studying to get back into the workforce. My true friendships are still strong, my family has my back and they all believed in me. Yes, I prayed for them and my enemies. I seek no revenge except to live in peace. Thankyou to those who prayed for me and encouraged my faith. ❤️🇦🇺

I hate gossiping too. My family, friends, cousins, and church members have excommunicated me because I don't gossip. In fact, I'm living like a hermit for some time , in the middle of a city because of gossip. When Jesus beacons me home up there, he will say, you're never to be alone again .

The man I lived with put three cameras in my house to allow people that were never good for me in the first place to be entertained. I have lost my peripheral vision. It is true that there is a lot of gossip in churches, but I believe that the work place can be worse. It's a competitive environment and people often use gossip to destroy those who they see as obstacles to their advancement. This happened to me once some years ago. I became the object of a lie being spread. Totally unfounded, but it made no difference. It caused me enough loss of respect that I lost a good job. I've never fully recovered from this. STOP......AND THINK, before you speak. You may destroy an innocent person. 🙏🕯🙏

I’ve experienced so much gossip from Christian churches and supposedly Christian colleges (former professor) that it has come to my conclusion that all some of them care about is ego (being right) and money. Searched for this today because my week has been so bad . My pastor received some gossip which was not true and didnt want to listen to my side of the story. I was really hurt and decided to leave the church because the personnwho spread the gossip is someone i valued as a friend and apparently is His friend who brings him stories abt others. Gossip is evil. Period. Humans are meant to be treated with dignity. It's hard to do though, as gossip like other sins, are very pleasurable. I pray the rosary or I can hardly fight it off.

Yep, "guilty" but I actually have been working on that.. Gossip can seem "small" compared to other things like murder, rape, etc. But nevertheless, it is a sin, & one that can hurt many people as well as cause harm that can't be repaired.

Wow its sad when one prays to God to stop someone from gossiping about you. I was guilty even entered into Facebook groups focused on gossip but I unfollowed all of them. Am recently being humiliated now with gossip about me but am praying to God to forgive them and give them wisdom to know the dangers of gossip,slander,depression, about the spiritual world ephesians 6:12. I was going through depression and i was not taking care of myself hygienically and people think am disgusting but recently I have been improving myself and all I can do now is focus on the improvement God is doing in my life and not what people say about me. I remember when I first moved into this park that I wasn't one to gossip. But I also remember that a couple women here would come over and rant. Next thing I knew in a couple weeks I found myself saying things like right, I know, yep they did do that! And before I knew it I was chiming in. I know there was a time when I was at peace and all those around me were in the control the Holy Spirit. But only when I did what was right so that the Holy Spirit COULD be beside me and IN me! On the contrary, repay evil with a blessing. (Proverbs 15:1)- “A gentle answer deflects anger, but harsh words make tempers flare.” (Roman 12:14)- “Bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse them.” (Explanation: Just to clarify guys, if you are insulted by an atheist or unbeliever, do not insult them back! God said that we must not do this. Instead what God wants you to do is, give that person a compliment in return. Also, please remember to control your anger when talking to unbelievers as well. They will try their hardest to make you angry, But remember, God has instructed for us to NOT to get angry when insulted and also to NOT insult them in return either. God has commanded us to repay their insult back with a compliment and acts of kindness. trust me on this guys, When an atheist insults you, but you repay them with a compliment, they usually feel guilty. And some of them even think to convert over. All just because of this. (Speaking from experience) Yes guys, kindness truly does work, kindness truly is this powerful! So remember guys, when an unbeliever insults you or is making fun of you, remember to keep calm and compliment them in return. It really does work. From my experience, they either apologize or they stop commenting. This is how you’ll know you’ve done your job correctly. “But Mr. Wingba why would I compliment a person who is rude to me? I just don’t get it?” Here is the reason WHY: This is the most important reason: John 15:14 (John 15:14)- “If you love me, obey my commandments.” (Explanation: we should do this simply because our God has commanded us to. This perhaps may be the greatest reason if all. But here are some other good reasons as well! Read along with me, yes? (1 Peter 2:12)- “Keep your conduct among the Gentiles honorable, so that when they speak against you as evildoers, they may see your good deeds and glorify God on the day he visits us.” (1 Peter 2:15)- “For it is God's will that by doing good you should silence the ignorant talk of foolish people.” (Explanation: Usually when an atheist and a believer get into a debate, there is a huge crowd of people watching because they are interested! Always! The people are looking to choose sides between the atheist or the Christian. Always! If the people see that the Christian is being rude or insulting the atheist, then the Christian will automatically lose all of their potential converts this way. Not to mention creating a poor reputation for Christians all while arguing in vain, and gaining NO converts in the process. Being rude to an atheist in front of a large crowd of people will ruin the whole situation. It will ruin everything! So remember guys, show respect, and be extremely kind to unbelievers who are rude to you. The people watching the conversation will want to worship the God you Worship because they respect the way you behaved yourself in that conversation. “Okay Mr. Wingba, I understand now. But what if I compliment an atheist, but he continues to be rude to me anyways, what should I do then?” Here’s what the Bible says to do if this happens! : (Proverbs 20:3)- “Avoiding a fight is a mark of honor; only fools insist on quarreling. (Proverbs 9:8)- “So don’t bother correcting mockers; they will only hate you. But correct the wise, and they will love you.” (Explanation: there’s two things we should do when insulted by an unbeliever repeatedly though we have been generous to them. If you are not getting through to a person, there is no point in proceeding with the conversation. Either use your block button provided by the Facebook social media platform, or stop responding to this person all together. Simply walk away from the argument. Simple. Also remember guys, as stated in proverbs 9:8- do not bother correcting unbelievers who are stubborn. If you are not getting through to an unbeliever, do not try to scare them, with threats of going to hell or etc, because this actually makes things worst guys. Remember, there is a crowd watching. So if you tell someone they are going to hell, this will upset the viewers. You will lose all of the potential converts. If an unbeliever did not hear you the first time, do NOT repeat yourself by trying to correct them over and over again. It’s best to just let the stubborn unbelievers be in peace. Because repeatedly correcting them, will only cause them to insult you more. It only makes things worse. If someone is being rude to you and refusing correction, simply use your block button to avoid any further arguments, or, what you can do is; walk away from the conversation all together. Avoid arguments at all costs. I have experienced gossip against me by my own family members. People no longer talked to me because of things said against me. Shame on the gossipers who allowed their jealousy to lead them astray. And shame on those listening to gossip without questioning the content and source.

My situation at the office at the moment. I no longer partake in office politics and gossip, and is now an outcast. being avoided by everyone and given the cold shoulder. I don't care, as long as I please my Father in Heaven I rarely care what others think of me. I used to be one of them, but recently came out of the world again and see things in a different light of late.

At work, I am dealing with rumors, and gossip going around about me. As to which I might add, are not true. I understand the way it affects my life, and the way it makes me feel. But I noticed with this, I begin to gossip more. So I looked for this video, and I am proud to say that I have no desire to gossip. Regardless of the wrong others are causing around me.

I have been a victim of slander and gossip for the past 3 years.
This is also connected to false accusations, my arrest, and an upcoming trial.
While I await patiently for my trial date, the same people continue to slander me.
I have sought forgiveness for all of my sins. I face my upcoming trial with courage and faith.
Just today, those same people are slandering me. However, a chance conversation with a neighbour reassured me that God is still on my side, despite the slander.
I attempted to reach out to those who slander me, by showing forgiveness at their lowest time. It still has not stopped them.
I can only have faith that God is the righteous Judge, the He will make wrong things right again. My faith is secure.
I feel badly for my accuser and the gossips, because I know their time on earth is short.
But to God be the Glory, forever and ever.

I've had to endure gossip, slander and false accusations...from those who call themselves "Christians"...for over 45 years. In time, God has grown me up and has taught me to love Him foremost and learn to forgive. Its not easy yet it is right...and its the only way. Job was not cut loose from his captivity and troubles until he prayed for his so-called "friends". Hang in there...God is faithful.

So to to give you an update.
In 2021, my case was due to be heard at trial. My accuser decided she didn’t want to testify in court (due to her lies) and also threatened to bring the media into it, which would have adversely affected the outcome.
My lawyer and barrister both spoke to the police prosecutor and after an out-of-court mediation, the charges were officially dropped and the case closed.
The person who slandered me now has stage 4 cancer. Both he and her have no friends left and all the neighbours avoid them.
I was since reconciled with my daughter and I have a second grandchild, a boy. The oldest one is a girl, now attending kindergarten.
My daughter is currently studying to get back into the workforce.
My true friendships are still strong, my family has my back and they all believed in me.
Yes, I prayed for them and my enemies. I seek no revenge except to live in peace.

It is true that there is a lot of gossip in churches, but I believe that the work place can be worse. It's a competitive environment and people often use gossip to destroy those who they see as obstacles to their advancement.
This happened to me once some years ago. I became the object of a lie being spread. Totally unfounded, but it made no difference. It caused me enough loss of respect that I lost a good job. I've never fully recovered from this.

Searched for this today because my week has been so bad . My pastor received some gossip which was not true and didnt want to listen to my side of the story. I was really hurt and decided to leave the church because the personnwho spread the gossip is someone i valued as a friend and apparently is His friend who brings him stories abt others. I do talk abt others which means am full of sin too bt i asked God to fight my battles and ahow me the right way to follow

Yep, "guilty" but I actually have been working on that.. Gossip can seem "small" compared to other things like murder, rape, etc. But nevertheless, it is a sin, & one that can hurt many people as well as cause harm that can't be repaired.

Wow its sad when one prays to God to stop someone from gossiping about you. I was guilty even entered into Facebook groups focused on gossip but I unfollowed all of them. Am recently being humiliated now with gossip about me but am praying to God to forgive them and give them wisdom to know the dangers of gossip,slander,depression, about the spiritual world ephesians 6:12. I was going through depression and i was not taking care of myself hygienically and people think am disgusting but recently I have been improving myself and all I can do now is focus on the improvement God is doing in my life and not what people say about me. Am determined to stop with myself
I remember when I first moved into this park that I wasn't one to gossip. But I also remember that a couple women here would come over and rant. Next thing I knew in a couple weeks I found myself saying things like right, I know, yep they did do that! And before I knew it I was chiming in. I kept to myself so I wouldn't have anyone to talk to! On purpose! Lately I heard a scripture and felt like I was shoved in the fire. A couple days later I was doing it again. Then secular people like pharmacist was being really mean and messing with me. Then I was ranting. It's been nutty. I know there was a time when I was at peace and all those around me were in the control the Holy Spirit. But only when I did what was right so that the Holy Spirit COULD be beside me and IN me! God is given to me the power to overcome but I MUST use it. Aman. Thank you my Lord and MY God . We shall overcome!

Just choose in faith to forgive them. Then pray for them and ask God to guide and bless them. Walk in faith. The feelings will follow later.

“How should Christians treat unbelievers/ atheists?”
“What should I do if an atheist or unbeliever is rude to me or insults me?”
Here’s what the Bible says we should do:
(1 Peter 3:9)- “Do not repay evil with evil or insult with insult. On the contrary, repay evil with a blessing.
(Proverbs 15:1)- “A gentle answer deflects anger, but harsh words make tempers flare.”
(Roman 12:14)- “Bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse them.”
(Explanation: Just to clarify guys, if you are insulted by an atheist or unbeliever, do not insult them back! God said that we must not do this. Instead what God wants you to do is, give that person a compliment in return.
Also, please remember to control your anger when talking to unbelievers as well. They will try their hardest to make you angry,
But remember, God has instructed for us to NOT to get angry when insulted and also to NOT insult them in return either.
God has commanded us to repay their insult back with a compliment and acts of kindness. trust me on this guys, When an atheist insults you, but you repay them with a compliment, they usually feel guilty. And some of them even think to convert over. All just because of this. (Speaking from experience)

So remember guys, when an unbeliever insults you or is making fun of you, remember to keep calm and compliment them in return. It really does work. From my experience, they either apologize or they stop commenting. This is how you’ll know you’ve done your job correctly.

Here is the reason WHY:
This is the most important reason: John 15:14
(John 15:14)- “If you love me, obey my commandments.” (Explanation: we should do this simply because our God has commanded us to. This perhaps may be the greatest reason if all.
But here are some other good reasons as well! Read along with me, yes?
(1 Peter 2:12)- “Keep your conduct among the Gentiles honorable, so that when they speak against you as evildoers, they may see your good deeds and glorify God on the day he visits us.”
(1 Peter 2:15)- “For it is God's will that by doing good you should silence the ignorant talk of foolish people.”
(Explanation: Usually when an atheist and a believer get into a debate, there is a huge crowd of people watching because they are interested! Always! The people are looking to choose sides between the atheist or the Christian. Always!
If the people see that the Christian is being rude or insulting the atheist, then the Christian will automatically lose all of their potential converts this way. Not to mention creating a poor reputation for Christians all while arguing in vain, and gaining NO converts in the process.
Being rude to an atheist in front of a large crowd of people will ruin the whole situation. It will ruin everything!
So remember guys, show respect, and be extremely kind to unbelievers who are rude to you. The people watching the conversation will want to worship the God you Worship because they respect the way you behaved yourself in that conversation.
“Okay Mr. Wingba, I understand now. But what if I compliment an atheist, but he continues to be rude to me anyways, what should I do then?”
Here’s what the Bible says to do if this happens! :
(Proverbs 20:3)- “Avoiding a fight is a mark of honor; only fools insist on quarreling.
(Proverbs 9:8)- “So don’t bother correcting mockers; they will only hate you. But correct the wise, and they will love you.”
(Explanation: there’s two things we should do when insulted by an unbeliever repeatedly though we have been generous to them.
If you are not getting through to a person, there is no point in proceeding with the conversation. Either use your block button provided by the Facebook social media platform, or stop responding to this person all together. Simply walk away from the argument. Simple.
Also remember guys, as stated in proverbs 9:8- do not bother correcting unbelievers who are stubborn. If you are not getting through to an unbeliever, do not try to scare them, with threats of going to hell or etc, because this actually makes things worst guys. Remember, there is a crowd watching. So if you tell someone they are going to hell, this will upset the viewers. You will lose all of the potential converts.
If an unbeliever did not hear you the first time,
do NOT repeat yourself by trying to correct them over and over again.
It’s best to just let the stubborn unbelievers be in peace. Because repeatedly correcting them, will only cause them to insult you more. It only makes things worse.
If someone is being rude to you and refusing correction, simply use your block button to avoid any further arguments, or, what you can do is; walk away from the conversation all together. Avoid arguments at all costs.

I'm used to this kind of preaching. Most of our preachers preach what God puts on their heart rregardless of what people like. God's word is what we all need even if it hurts. We need it.
