Hi how are you? Is affinity photo and affinity designer the same thing or not? I can’t get which app to download.And I also would like to know if it is possible to use it like The Lightroom.
Although they appear similar. Affinity photo is more of the photoshop equivalent. And affinity designer is the illustrator equivalent. You can definitely use affinity photo like Lightroom in terms of color correction and masking and whatnot. I’d say go for affinity photo...but what are you planning to do with it?

If I understood what you mean, you could invert the selection so that the selection you made if yourself "flips" and now your background will be selected instead....hope that helps! Let me know if it didn't 😅

I am planing to make thumbnails. I just was wondering if I could replace Lightroom with Affinity Photo.
In that case definitely get affinity photo. All my thumbnails on my channel have been made with it!

Invert by holding down wherever you selected and a pop up menu will come out with an option to invert
