I have to say, Andrew, that you are one of the very best when it comes to presenting on TH-cam. As an old geezer, I find it tricky using Affinity and the other videos on here have just confused me at times. You're doing a sterling job, well done!!

Hi Andrew, great tutorial! I really liked the two/three fingers back and redo, great to know!
So Snap helps/gives you the lines to help you stay centered?
I wasn’t sure what you meant by layers (as I haven’t used any photo app before), but when you brought in the Affinity logo and moved it around, I finally got it 👍🏼.
The color picker is a great tool too. I like the orange better. So great to have your videos, as always so helpful.
Can’t wait to view your other tutorials and all new videos!
    Than you!

    • @CreativeGoodman
      @CreativeGoodman  ปีที่แล้ว

Thanks so much Mario! The two/three fingers are amazing, so easy and quick! Yes the snap helps that layer 'snap's the centre.
Layers is a big topic, I did a video for layers for AP1 iPad called 'Layers for Beginners Tutorial - Affinity Photo iPad' but might need to update it for AP2 iPad. More videos coming soon, thanks again :)

Great video as always Andrew- thank you! I have a working knowledge of AP & AP2, but I’m not an artist. If you’re taking video ideas, I’d love to see how you’d do a mock up of a paint job. (Using a picture of a vehicle & change the paint on it with a few different iterations.) I’m sure it’s very easy to do, but don’t know how to go about it.
Looking forward to the next videos!

Thanks so much! As for your suggestion, I made a video called 'How to Select and Change Colors' check that out and lmk if that's what you mean (in this video I change the color of a car etc), if not lmk and I'll try to understand better and if it is, this video was for AP1, might be an idea to recreate it for AP2 :)

Hi, I just discovered your channel while trying to figure out some issues on Affinity Photo for iPad. I can't seem to figure out where to transform text. I can find where to do things like rotate and flip text. But I'm trying to figure out where I do things like skew or perspective (without having to switch over to Designer). Does it even do that on the iPad?

Hi Andrew, please explain how Affinity work with the Apple Photo Library on iPad. I find no integration within Apple Photos, not even a way to open a photo with the Share sheet or the Extensions. When you try to do it from Affinity app, it is much better. There is the photo picket that is accessible, but no way to get a RAW, only JPEG files, and when you worked on a picture, no way to save it back to the Photos library, all you can do is export it back as a duplicate of the original. I struggle to understand why they built no integration like other apps have done, such as Photomator and Darkroom.

Maybe you can help I've asked on Affinity forums and they are thinking I am crazy
So when you open Photo 2 on iPad, and press "C" or just click crop iT ONLY allows you to adjust the document size not the image (Like it did on Affinity 1)
BUT when I open Publisher 2, click on Photo Persona, and click "C" or crop it allows me to crop the IMAGE itself
WHY is this? Why can't I crop an image in Photo, I have to take 4 steps via publisher to crop images?
    Any idea?
