Cool quick fix with those few levees... but you MUST fix the issue, ring that Poocano further around to the "right" of the main path up top and keep going around until you reach the Scrap Metal Towers. Finally all the water will be pushed to the far back left (of the main path up) and off the map like you wanted/through would happen.
The roof being on the ground isn't the problem :P It's the inefficiency of not having it on a *residence* where overnight every beaver in the buildings, vertically, would get hours of exposure instead of only those walking past during the day getting minutes here and there

Hey Matt, for the mega aqueduct remember beavers can build really far down. You can also use the 6 long overhangs, then drop more platforms down, and keep going. Also, remember you will need lots of metal to make the floor water proof. Good luck engineer
I downloaded this very map (called 'Eruption') after the last episode and I wish you could see it. I'm already on Cycle 28, Day 14, with my 78 beavers living at 41 Well-being! The poocano has been capped with a Badwater Rig, the badwater drained from it, with a 6-wide section of it bombed through the mountain so they can get to it easier, the ill-fated starting area has been reclaimed for Chestnuts and Pine Resin, made safe from Bad Tides with barriers around a mini drainage aqueduct to carry it off the map, with a similar setup protecting the secondary settlement water area you're using at the top of the hill, which I'm using for growing Oaks and carrots. My main city -- decorated with all 3 Monuments -- is between that hill and the river, which I've dammed on both ends so it remains green at all times. I'm using the 1/3rd nearest the city for growing Cattail and Spadderdock, and bombed the rest to a depth of 4 blocks, so the Big Pumps can work even during Droughts (the two sections separated by floodgates). Your new tree-growing area being used in mine for Sunflowers, and your first tree-growing area (between the dam and the waterfall), I'm using for Potatos. And as for the waterfall? You wouldn't believe the setup I've got going on. Floodgates and levees all around it, so I can direct where the water goes, so Bad Tides get channeled harmlessly off the map, with two levels of dams between it and the river itself, just to store extra water in case I need it. I even connected one dam to the depressed area downhill from the big water source, so it'll stay full and green up the area full time as well, so I can expand there next for whatever else I want to grow (I'm thinking Wheat next). I've also started bombing terraces by the river, just to give me more green area by the city too, just to have more space to grow that's closer. Mad props to Quinton595 for this amazing map. Well done!
Matt, there is a water source at the lake when you first start the map, once the poo is gone, the part of the lake that joins the river has good pressure (you can put a water wheel, more if you make an aqueduct), you don't need the water from the poo. As for the volcano, I used the dry season to rush the levees (I stored the wood and cancelled all non-essential jobs so all the beavers could work on them). You can also take advantage of the blockages there, that way you use less wood. You can do it in one or two droughts.
One trick i use when growing Oaks. I use the 4 line method. plant a stripe, wait 3 days, plant the next strip.. and so one for 12 days. it really depends on the tree and growing days cycle., but this gave new trees every 3 days. maybe pull 2 forester huts to cross cover the planting. plus if you build 4 of these 4 strip areas. and offset those by a day 4 times. you'll have trees everyday
Small dam down river north of the good water source mountian. That will push the water back and become "down river" flowing towards the south where your village is. Demolish the debris piles to open up the river fully. You'll not only dilute any badwater so it won't contaminate any beaver who walk through it but also add flow down south to increase the power production, if you add in some more water wheels in the divit of the river then when the river fully flows south it will submerge the waterwheels by 2 layers of water and absolutely crank that HP through the roof...

He can, but if he later wants to build stairs off them, the beavers won't be able to do it, because they can't build down off bridges, only off platforms.
It probably wouldn't hurt to invest into the fluid dumps. It might seem like a waste, but you have 2 craters already near your mega structure that can act as natural reservoirs. So as long as it's active (and they don't require power) and you have water in storage, beavers will take water and take it to those dumps and they will dump out that fluid back out into the world. So you can artificially make 2 extra ponds for water reserve for the next drought. What's also cool about the fluid dumps is that they're somewhat "smart". This only works if you set them on the same level as the rim of whatever container you're dumping into (meaning if you're dropping off of a cliff, they won't take the same consideration into account,) but if the fluid level in the reservoir gets up to their platform as in it's threatening to spill out and flood the dump itself, it'll stop. So you can definitely increase your water reserves artificially and as long as there's water in those two bowls, that will also make the ground around green and arable. You could definitely expand your reach with plenty of room without need of worry of contamination (too much) if you start using the fluid dump soon. If a drought or bad tide hits, switch off the dumps and have pumps built on the side of them start replenishing water as needed. After the bad time is done, swap the states of the dumps and pumps and start refilling the craters. It'll help you not need to worry about having to find arable land on cliff sides as much. Get demolition and make irrigation lines and you can reach even further. You know, have your mega dam with the Giga dam followed by the Tera farm, the Peta aqueduct, the Exa-former poocano, the Zetta colony, and the Yotta dam.
Also, it might seem mundane and kind of pointless, but if you're going to rely on wild blueberries, you'd be better off clearing out dead plants. Wild plants will naturally propagate if you leave them be (in terms of trees) as long as they're watered and they have actual space to spread. Dead plants don't remove themselves so they just sit there and take up a space that could be a new plant instead. The other option would be get a forester out there and just plant rows of blueberries that you can control rather than rely on the wild plants having to grow and be cleared out. But if you don't clear them out the dead plants will maim your blueberry intake.
Always always always put your windmills (and their straight shafts) on single-platforms. You can build one tile upwards, and that includes from underneath; by having your windmills elevated by one you save yourself the huge headache of having to route your paths through a maze of connectors just to build them (and as a bonus can place flat-topped buildings in the area without having to fight the windmills).
one thing you could've done was unclog the river to wash out the poo water and move your watermill's to help power your new industrial district, also as some have pointed out there is a water source at your initial starting location so you can levy the volcano
Just blow the stairs and build new ones further down. Build two that just connect the upper and lower tiers. It doesn't have to connect to super happy fund land.
that mega project for 4 gravity batteries is insane. I remember doing my first mega gravity battery as a test when timberborn was pretty new, when they brought in that gravity battery. I went as high as i could go, and also detonated as deep as i could to maxmize the power output, and it was like 36k power if i remember. nearly infinite power. the real trick was the gear shafts. it was a literal maze throughout the entire structure
Matt! There’s a water source that flows to your water wheels river. The poo water is not needed. That could also be an additional water pumping location or flood the area to make more underwater farming. Additionally you could increase your green land for more farms and trees.
I guess I never noticed until the tower was being built, but the camera controls the Sun. As Matt moves the camera angle the shadows move. Are you playing as the baby Sun from the teletubbies?
Building the tower before the windfarm is an archidect move. Because the tower only works with the windfarm while the windfarm could already supply the industrial area during windy weather without the tower
Interesting how matt decided to build power solution almost exactly as i said in previous video's comment, but anyways, there is an very substantial advantage to placing decoratove stuff on rooftops, that is beavers ingesting all of its positive energy during the night, this makes the meters up even during the day (also if you're gonna build one of those big statues its best to put it in range of area beavers sleep in for reasons i said before)
Not sure if you'll ever see this. Buttttt have you ever thought about putting the roof on the lodging because then it will affect all the beavers while they are sleeping 😂 I know it's a bit architectie but it is efficient. And engineers love efficiency
I though it only affect beavers if they saw it. Why would anyone ever have roofs , you can't see your roof, useless piece of architecture. (yeah I know it's oxymoronic to criticize not being able to see a roof when that's literally what archeteks are for, just for the eyes, impractical purpose)
I really think you should just do expirimental mode for the vertical shafts, also to show off the new overhangs. But in order to replace the path with shafts youll have to build it literally one piece at a time, only placing a new shaft after the last one has been built to avoid beavers getting stranded or pieces being built in the wrong order leaving gaps. I think it would take even longer than the tower itself to build the power shafts that way
Instead of building a giant aquaduct diagonally across the map and thereby making it difficult to develop the other side of the map, you could build a tower out of levees around the water source by the starting point of the map and connect it to the poocano. Don't forget to also include a drain for bad water seasons.
I can not wait for the next episode! I want to see the battery tower working!!! AHHH I love the timberborners series so much! haha Thanks for making it!
Building a small water pond by the dandelions with levees and using a water dump to fill it will keep your potatoes going through a drought. Just add more water storage as well.

@@aulvinduergard9952 they should be able to
@@aulvinduergard9952 he can demolish the bridge after since he gets planks and logs
MATT! !
Experimental build has vertical power shafts!!!
Just bought Timberborn because of your videos. I'm playing on the smallest map right now, it's almost completely covered in 3 tall platforms.
May you should make a small dam across the borrow section of your main water source so your reservoir fills faster
Intro: we won't talk about the incident
Video: almost the incident 3.0 happened
baffles me that he still has not built a medicine hut. could have saved so many beavers!
At this point, I think it would be 5.0 :)
Do none of you know what show he is referencing when he is talking about the incident and not talking about it?
one thing you could've done was unclog the river to wash out the poo water and move your watermill's to help power your new industrial district, also as some have pointed out there is a water source at your initial starting location so you can levy the volcano
Just blow the stairs and build new ones further down. Build two that just connect the upper and lower tiers. It doesn't have to connect to super happy fund land.
The intro with the spinning beavers made me jump out of my seat, I was genuinely really surprised
that mega project for 4 gravity batteries is insane.
22:30 matt forgot to use his brain . Here is why: just make the shaft go up and down its better than what he did 😂
Matt! There’s a water source that flows to your water wheels river. The poo water is not needed. That could also be an additional water pumping location or flood the area to make more underwater farming. Additionally you could increase your green land for more farms and trees.
Matt: "Some of you may die, but that is a sacrifice I am willing to make."
Underrated comment this.
I use that quote all the time, even on things that can't actually die. 😅
I guess I never noticed until the tower was being built, but the camera controls the Sun. As Matt moves the camera angle the shadows move. Are you playing as the baby Sun from the teletubbies?
Yep
That's what happens when the Earth is flat. You become a teletuby and the sun is controlled by a sadistic secretly archetek
Buttttt have you ever thought about putting the roof on the lodging because then it will affect all the beavers while they are sleeping 😂
I know it's a bit architectie but it is efficient.
MATT swearing omg 7:59 wasn't expecting it😂
You obviously haven't seen his earliest videos if you think "arse" is Matt swearing. 😅😂
24:25 Oh no, that couldn't be so short, I gotta continue singing:
Naaa, na, na, NANANANAAAA
Nanananaaa
BEAVERS !!!
10:17
Matt: some of you may die, but that’s a sacrifice I’m willing to make
I really think you should just do expirimental mode for the vertical shafts, also to show off the new overhangs.
But in order to replace the path with shafts youll have to build it literally one piece at a time, only placing a new shaft after the last one has been built to avoid beavers getting stranded or pieces being built in the wrong order leaving gaps. I think it would take even longer than the tower itself to build the power shafts that way
6:21 : I knew it would happen one day, i commented on it
Saying that he's doing a architect move, he always does architect moves nowadays
Ooooof
10:58 yeah sure it is. Nothing ever bad came out of there.
It's a big leap for beaverkind .
It's fun sitting at work watching this with the sound off and being able to sing along perfectly to the intro
Even tho I haven't played Timberborn, Ive been watching the Timberborners series for so long that i feel like I've beaten the game 5 times over.
Me when my beaver has been assigned as a builder: (chuckles) I'm in danger
😂😂
I'd like to be a beaver. But I think my namesake would be killed every season. So I'm kind of glad I'm just a member.
I look forward to the day when Matt converts the Great Brown Eye into the Great Blue Hole.
Bro this man can make anything especially if it is to defeat architects.
Yes, please make this season (or as you would put it "series") as long as possible, soaps and tv shows today are only 8 episodes if that now!!! Shows a while back ago were anywhere from 24 to 48 episodes a season if not more!!! Come on RCE makes history with longest most successful series of Timberborners!!! Oh and say hi to Paddy for me!!! Cheers mate!!!
Best Beavles performance yet, I had to fight back tears! :D
ArcticEcho = Architect. MATT HOW COULD YOU GIVE THE MOST IMPORTANT JOB TO AN ARCHITECT
20:16 Matt demands..................A SHRUBBERY!
The lack of a hot fuzz "the greater good" at 10:21 is why the editors are still in the basement and only getting the barest of rations.
Might be good to get a stockpile of Antidote somewhere near the town center.
You should do a here come the sun one but it’s like right at the end of a drought or bad tide and it’s like “here comes the water”
Yes!!! I live for timberborners.
MS catching more strays thanks to CrowdStrike's failure :(
You know that it is a good day when the Timberborners are back.
and a day early!
Petition for Matt to post timberborners more often
11:07 down there is a water source that you use in 1 episode so that's mean you have constant water flow.
first time commenter, you should proitize all the buildinds for haul;ers so the beavers wont get the resources, my adhd is killing me
Timberborn Friday on a Thursday?! Best surprise ever!!!
A pipesystem would be nice. Where you have a pumpstation and than connect pipes to fill up pools.
8:30 Why are you just not working on cure for the Beavers? O.o
Yeah I'm watching this part right now and it's driving me crazy I went to the comments to see if I was the only one
Edit : 13:22 healed me
@@Nyli. Yup! :3
I’ve been really impressed and appreciative of how often you’ve been posting. Thank you for your content I always love it!
5:52 - The Beginnings of THE INCIDENT 3.0...or 2.5
Name a better duo other than Matt and Incidents 💚
it may be best to pump you farm water, but bester if you have a shallow, always manually replenished, lake for your farm. and pump from another 4-deep lake
My favorite series is back with another episode!!!
Day 1 of asking Matt to play Minecraft with engineering mods like Create and Immersive engineering
Respect to the editor using rhe right instruments for the Beatles (or right enough anyhow).
Classic RCE. Has massive projects already, makes more projects.
Are you intentionally trying to have as few beavers as possible? Every building being paused, constantly juggling jobs, maybe you should focus on getting more beavers so you can actually do things. Why are you even thinking about end game, when you can barely keep afloat as it is? Genuine questions and concerns, I'm not trying to be an architect here
Not going to lie... im super impressed at the speed that tower is getting built...
Make a reserve of antidotes so that when the next incident happens they can be cured almost instantly! Also, it's a more compact form than storing its three ingredients
Currently dealing with a power outage here in North Carolina but i can always rely on RCE to perk me up with Timberborn shenanigans
Incident 3.0 is comming. I love the saga.
Do none of you know what show he is referencing when he is talking about the incident and not talking about it?
@@thomgizziz
I thought he was talking about '41
The only series that made me giggle when it came out
The incident 2.5
Put platforms over the contaminated area. Beavers can work downwards and put the levies in
Mat you should put a Poo-Cano fluid substance for 19.99 on your shop page
The screams at the beginning of the Beavels Concert soundet like a bunch of Kids getting kidnapped 😅😅
