As much as some of them didn't get along, they always showed up at weddings and funerals. Adam and Palmer HATED each other, but he still showed up.
Yes, remember when Palmer & Nathalie got married, Adam crashed the Wedding. I saw an Old School Clip of him on The Edge Of Night in the 1960's, the scene he was in looked like a meeting with Two Closeted Men. I was stunned to find out that he and Robert Gentry (Ex Ross Chandler) were Gay.

I loved Palmer, I always thought he was so handsome, I was so sad when he passed away.
Adam and Palmer hated each other because they were cut from the Same Cloth. They came from such humble beginnings in Pigeon Hollow, VA., worked their way up, had multiple marriages and then when Palmer didn't "Man Up" with Ross, Adam hated him for that. Hard to believe that JR is Ross's Cousin Two Times Over. By Dixie who is Palmer's Niece who kept the Cooney name and By Adam.

Palmer did wrong by Adams sister lottie
Palmer had an affair with Adam's sister, Lottie. She told him she was pregnant and he didn't believe it, going off to war. After giving birth to Ross, Lottie killed herself.

Ironic Adam going on about Palmer leaving his Sister pregnant . He got Palmer's niece Dixie pregnant when he was married to Brooke.
I cried when they addressed Palmer's death.....It was a well written episode...It was better than the 40th anniversay episode.....

My goodness AMC had so many deaths of characters. It's nice they actually pay tribute to them, Kate Martin, Mona Kane, Phoebe Tyler Wallingford and Palmer Cordlandt.

Yes. He was a Professional Ballet Dancer before he did All My Children. He also starred in The Turning Point with Shirley McLaine & Anne Bancroft.

I liked Palmer and Opal. I hated that stupid storyline they had that broke them up and that Adrian Sword storyline was just as stupid.
Last Year, The UK lost a Legend as well. Leah Bracknell who played Zoe Tate on Emmerdale that took place in a Farming Town played her from 1989-2006. She was one of the first Lesbian Characters on a UK Soap as well as Anna Friel who played Beth on Brookside that is no longer on the air. She did one of the First Same Sex Kisses, was in a Commitment Ceremony before "Same Sex Marriages" were recognized, and had her share of Girlfriends. From a Truck Driver, A Nanny, Hairdresser, Interior Decorator, and Saleswoman. She had Cancer and although she tried, she didn't make it.

I haven't watched this show since the mid 80s, where's Nina, Palmer's daughter?
She had left the Show and Taylor Miller played Sally Frame on Another World. She know does Voiceovers and it was very hard for Taylor to work with "Other" Actors after Peter Bergman left to play Jack Abbott on The Young & The Restless. Isn't it amazing how Folks are related to each other and how you sometimes forget. On The UK Soap Opera Ian Beale is Cousins to Martin Fowler due to their Parents Families. Pete Is Ian's Father and Martin's Mother Pauline was Pete's Fraternal Twin Sister.
