I've only recently discovered your channel. I love the way that you present your material in an entertaining way. I can't speak for others, but for me, it helps me retain the information. If presentations are to dull or monotone, my my mind starts to wander and I have to continually rewind. Thank you, and I hope you have an amazing 2025.
Rachel, thank you for the follow-up lesson. I wish we didn't have to wait so long, although I suspect you have a life outside of TH-cam. I needed this as reinforcement for the last lesson as I have difficult remembering specific code commands. The good news is, the engagement is back on, and I intend to remain true to your lessons.
You're awesome! I refer to you as the hot Linda Belcher, and thats a good thing! (Also less crazy!) You are doing all the same type of projects that Im trying to learn. Keep it up!
I just watched your video about the ultrasonic sensor and commented about building a moustrap with one, and here you put out connecting it to an actuator, exactly what I'm planning to use it for! Get outta my head!!😂
Can you do a video showing us how to re-flash the bootloader onto an UNO? My R3 is seemingly working but I cant upload to it. I got a USBtinyISP AVR ISP Programmer but every instructional video seems to leave things out... I also have other arduinos I could flash it with.
cool project! i may be wrong, and probably am, but it appears to me that they "eyeballs" are turning the wrong direction and would be not following the person as they walk by. the arm on servo is perpendicular to the the ruler and should probably start at 90 degrees which would be parallel to the path that somebody would walk and then change the code so that it goes from 90 degrees to a little beyond 180 degrees so that it looks like the eyeballs would be following as a person walks beyond..... could you also delete any code that deals with the inches and also change it to mm instead of cm?
Great observation! I taped the servo down without really thinking of the orientation to the ruler so yes, it was probably turning the wrong way. You can certainly have it output in mm too!
Your channel is one of the few where I can actually understand the topic. You’re a great teacher. Thankyou.
Thanks for the kind words! I'm glad you're finding the channel helpful.

Use PWMservo for better smooth effect
That's a great idea! I'll have to add it to my list of videos.
I seen that just that you know best!
