I've been where she's sitting now, could be in a bit better shape but her fate is much better then the cutter torch. Few years back me and a few other guys around the country got the idea to try and restore her, but it fell though before we even asked the museum.
Saw her, on a wet overcast day, in Flagstaff, years ago. A bit worn from exposure to the high country elements, but still a good looking lady. She's just above the museum's fence, on the east side of Fort Valley Road (US 180) north of town.
