Reminds me of Highway 69 between Parry Sound and Sudbury. Lots of abandoned motels and gas stations.
For real! Very same feel. A bit more on this stretch of highway and less remote than Hwy 69 feels at times, but very similar indeed.
Gone...like so many other wonders of the not so distant past....an era soon to be forgotten...what one generation builds up the next tears down.
I used to watch the Caladon independent channel late night for the creepy Mr Bear show. Thanks for bringing me back to my childhood. Loved this video.
There is a Documentary called "The Lost Highway" streaming on the TVO website that tells the Story about Gibbs Gas.
I watched it after the fact. Loved it!!!
Yes and by seeing what the place looks like now Howard never did get the fuel tanks upgraded
