@@twonrichpo1126 it’s a trade! I do 0 marketing. People find me because I provide a hands on service that the everyday individual needs. Other examples in my field- HVAC, plumbing, electrician etc. I’m talking a real business not the fabricated entrepreneurship toted on social media today

I closed all my socials down for business because nothing should be that hard! Algorithm changes, tags, no tags, hashtags or none, dslr one day iPhone the next, filters, text based posts one day only show your face, clique-ish Influencers that only respond or tag those they like, do a giveaway one day the next day giveaways are cringe. You can’t win!!
I'm a marketing professional and you absolutely can build a business without Social. It requires a new level of vulnerability because we have to get over our fear of rejection and embrace connection. We can tolerate the silent rejection that comes from vanity metrics.
I have decided to abandon it. It is an illusion that it works, cuz only vanity based products succeed on social. Many of us started during Covid and became attached to growing our businesses in a way that doesn't require true connection.
Time to get back to the old ways of doing business.
YESSS, so refreshing! After trying to be on IG for some years for my business regarding spirituality & coaching it felt like not listening to my own inner knowing that it is a toxic place where I do not want to be part of. I litteraly have had younger cliënts who were struggling with insecurities and mental issues due to social media. And yes, it also effects me.. So it is really refreshing to have found you on youtube with this video as I am looking for new ways to still be able to inspire people to follow their heart & intuition without adding to the toxic field. You’re a diamond in the ruff. This type of content is a God send. I honestly think staying away from social media is the missing link to my success. And have been led to do this for a long time. It‘s absolutely possible, depending on the nature of the business of course. I run my business without Social Media and this is also something that I teach my cliens how to do for themselves: Social Media free Marketing or, if they want to use them still, mindful Social Media Marketing. I use my blog, podcast and newsletter for my Marketing acticvities and am so much more creative, independent and happy.

I love the idea of “nurturing” my potential customers with social media. I like being creative and posting but I’m learning quickly that I’d be putting way too much energy into trying to get noticed on social media rather than actually making a sale. Such a great video! 🥰
This is a question I asked myself a couple of years ago, and its absolutely possible and depends on the individual ultimately. I would not say nature of business or type of product/service offered because its what most people are exposed too or conditioned with the abundant of input coming their way through current digital landscape.
Without socmed as a part of your business, it naturally forces you to enable that business transaction to happen through you being human and socially interacting while learning so much more about yourself and your potential clients or partners. (Negotiation ability, tone/voice, writing ability, conscious choice of words, cultural sensitivity etc.)
Being behind the screen limits one potential is more ways in terms of ability to focus and pay attention, ideally having a balance and knowing that this is optional is something that comes from the individual itself. Everyone that wants to begin to experience any of this, has to begin the process of Decluttering first and just having a birds eye view of how many things have been in their way whether be it personally or professionally.

I had to return to social media because of my store. I didn't use it for 3 years. I tried to promote my website for months, but I couldn't promote it. So unfortunately I had to install Instagram, but I didn't want to😢
If you learn SEO and use Pinterest instead of the other social media platforms, you should do great!
