Hi Reagan. Thanks for your work. I found you just this week through Nate Pickowicz, who I found just last week (he mentioned you in his video). I am in the Philippines and follower of Christ. I listened to a few of your podcast already in a span of a few days and I find my heart resonating with your heart to live well for the glory of God in this short life we have. So thanks.
I can totally relate with the feeling less busy. I notice it too. Sometimes we are so "busy" from consuming so much information daily. It causes unnecessary anxiety. I never understood why until now that you've mentioned it. When you stop consuming social media info, your mind actually does feel lighter and less "busy". Almost like a heavy weight has been lifted off your shoulders.
I'm a business owner & I have never Been real BIG on social media. I was too busy building my company wen I was younger and now that im not a twenty something I'm not interested in other people's lives because mine is in full swing. I just don't have time for it as my company keeps me plenty busy focusing on a million other things. I'd probably engage in social media if my life allowed it. I tried it for a few years & quickly figured out, social media isn't for most business owners. In fact, social media isn't a place for successful people at all. They don't like successful people there. Seems to me mediocrity reigns king on Social media. (In my opinion)
Great video! Love hearing about social media from a Christian perspective. Definitely can relate to what you went through personally leaving social media. I made that decision couple years ago and never regret it. I rather live under a rock than controlled by the monster social media. I mainly watch TH-cam and listen to podcasts, I tailored it to be more Christian content and things that can help me in real life. I definitely know what you mean that you feel less busy, it frees your mind from so much clutter.
So glad to hear it. I'm right there with you. TH-cam can pull me down the rabbit hole too if I'm not careful, but it's much easier to manage than social media and I find the content is often much more valuable.
Good for you man, Wellcome to my team
"If you focus on fewer things, you will accomplish more" 12:29 - excellent 👌🏾
This was really helpful. Especially the prayer aspect. When we are bored or in between work, instead of praying we go to social media.
🙌🏻right there with you brother. Great video
Appreciate it!

So good, thanks Reagan. As I'm building Layman's Fitness I've considered a similar shift, so I appreciated your insight here.
