Love videos as always I like your other air brush better than the portable one I just don’t remember what brand it was I would like to buy one whenever you get down time would love to know oh and p.s you should try doing a frog 🐸 lure would be interesting to watch in remembrance of the Budweiser frogs 🍻 lol or try and do 2 of a frog and toad 😅 but n e way keeping doing what your doing you rock as always nice to see your work is always improving and getting more challenging or at least your being experimental and thinking outside the box and trying to new things making them on the go like that but I’ve ranted enough 🤘😊
Great video! That airbrush compressor was pretty cool! You had me laughing when you made your skull shirt talk, at the end of the vid. Keep up the great work!
I think as bait makers, we're harder on ourselves than the fish are. Think about lures such as the classic Five of Diamonds. No matter where I fish in North America, that's one of my most productive baits. And it doesn't look one bit like a fish!
Great video. I like the shoreline create and catch. Nice to have a hobby that's portable... factors may have made the experience a little sh!t but still doable and still learn from it. Very curious about the portable air brush kit and how long it'll last from a quality standpoint.
@WoodPigeonOutdoors Guinness Book rejected my application because they said they couldn’t quantify what the “smallest fishing lure” was or something like that. Idk I just decided to leave it alone after that 🤷🏻♂️
@@TreysArt thank you for the tip i’ve been wanting to make my own lure but just trying to educate myself a bit more before my first attempt seems like a fun hobby to get into and not waste money on expensive lures since i mostly fish artificial, love the videos you put out you make some beautiful lures man
@jorge2753 thank you I appreciate that. Just a heads up if you really head down the lure making rabbit hole it could end up costing you more money lol but just starting out with a carving knife some wood and sandpaper and you can go a long way with that.
@@TreysArt i’ll try just carving and with sandpaper i’ve got access already to most of the tools i need to make a lure thankfully so won’t need to spend that much money on that
No way you are by marked tree or West Memphis. I swear I think we may fish the same spots. I’m not going to give specifics about the exact location but dang the spots are all looking familiar to me, but I could also be going loco from my son keeping me up at night 😂
How awesome!!! Thanks for the ideas! Greetings from an equally crazy fisherman from Russia!

Thanks for the comment. Yeah my main airbrush is an iwata eclipse, much better than the cheapo that came with the portable compressor.

You make a good point.
Looks like wisteria from the leaves. Keep up the good work.
For a field made lure that's a win, nice job Tom
Thanks. It would have been pretty nice actually if I would have known better to not use quick setting epoxy in the heat lol
@@TreysArt live & learn Tom
Отличная работа! Никак не могу себя заставить сделать тихую приманку самому, чтобы половить хорошего судака!
Ещё раз отлично!
You can do it 👍🏼
Good job. I find epoxy needs a dry environment to dry properly.
Very Cool! 🙂👍
Thank you 🙏
Nice job 👌👏
Thanks
It would be cool if you had printable templates of your lures for diy
Trey love the video.
And got to love ball chiller seats
Ball chiller 🤣🤣🤣 I didn’t think of that
@@TreysArt just need one for my tractor this southern heat gets nasty
No lie there.
you can use supersoft 0.1g fishing weights and mash them in the hole. i prefer this method, couse yes.
such a good video
Thank you
Excelente trabalho,e o mais importante é que funcionou 👏🏼👏🏼
🙏
Un buen trabajo gracias por compartir tus vídeos saludos

Can you make a crankbait with using Basic tools like drill a saw (but don't use a bandsaw) and brush paint it?
Absolutely. I’ll be making a video of this at some point
Ficou top demais

Me too I’ll do an update on it after a while.
Yeah i bought one of those air bushes a while back... Just so i can do this
Pretty good for on the go I think
@TreysArt by the way... What ever happend to the world record tiny lure
@WoodPigeonOutdoors Guinness Book rejected my application because they said they couldn’t quantify what the “smallest fishing lure” was or something like that. Idk I just decided to leave it alone after that 🤷🏻♂️
@@TreysArt well that sucks... How about this...
I dub thee TreysArt the TH-cam record holder of the making the tiniest functional crank bait.
@WoodPigeonOutdoors thank you. I’m going to snapshot this comment and print it out and frame it. Legit enough for me!
👍👍👍👍👍
👍
that white powder you put in where the weights go is that baking powder and just super glue mixed together
Yes it makes for a rapid patch job. You could also use bondo, wood filler, epoxy ect… but the superglue and baking soda sets up pretty much instantly.

Hi what kinda drill bit is that.. The 1 you use for the eyes
It’s called a spot weld cutter
@@TreysArt thanx...bro

Not going loco. I’m in the area
where did you get your tool for the eye socket?
A lot of people ask that. I actually found this one somewhere. But it called a spot weld cutter
daca te rog poti sa imi zici care este unghiul pentru a adancime?
I’m sorry but I don’t understand your question.

Just an fyi, trumpet vine is mildly toxic and irritating to skin
I didn’t know that. Thank you.
@TreysArt yes sir you're welcome! Hopefully it was dried out enough that the oils didn't bother your skin
No I didn’t notice anything from it. The piece I got was dried and dead. Little damp in some parts because of a recent rain.
