Just got into fishing a few months ago in Tweed, Australia - loving these videos, I am learning from your insights and enjoying what you design, thanks mate 🤙
Here in argentina we use sometimes that lure on summer freshwater fishing. Mostly for an specie we called "Tararira" Even for Golden dorado too but in warmth water times. Top summer. On winter forget it. We called "oreno lure"
Yes You did an Excellent Job re-making a Bass Oreno from South Bend, I have a few in the tackle box saved from my Dad’s box, they do swim erratic like a Lucky 13, Thanks for the Memories
Love how you are trying new things and sharing your experiment journey with us. That action could definitely entice a fish to strike. Keep up the fantastic content.
this looks like a J-Plug especially the way that front hook is setup. It is a shallow diving plug lure that when reeled acts like a crankbait or you can jerk it and it dives a bit and pops.
I don’t generally sell the ones i make in the videos but I do sell lures on my Etsy shop. Just look up “TreysArtLures” on Etsy and you can see what’s currently available.

Barbaro quedó muy bueno gracias por compartir tus vídeos saludos
It's a popper lure. Named after the pop it makes pulling it through the water.
It’s called an Oreno lure. It looks similar but it’s not a popper

That’s awesome to hear. Glad I was able to motivate someone into the hobby. 👍🏼
Can I use a hair dryer instead of a hot gun when adding on the epoxy
You could try but I’d be careful with it. Might blow dust and junk into the epoxy.
Dope as hell
I need to let you know the lure you made is a jerkbait from back in the 50s the action is similar to a zar spook made by Heddon
👍👍👍👍👍
It also looks similar to a Lucky 13 made by heddon
Top water plopper
