This is seriously one of the most motivating stories I have ever seen. It brings tears to my eyes every time I see videos of Bushell and Grohl conversing through video and in person. What a dream come true for Nandi to go from a 5 year old girl learning to play the drums to playing onstage with one of the biggest rock bands, one of the greatest influences in rock history (Grohl), and one of my favorite drummers (Hawkins). I love watching Nandi play on Drumeo. She has become one of my new favorite drummers. Her performance of Caravan is insane! Keep it up Nandi! I wish my parents would have let me start learning to play as young as you were when you started. What awesome parents!
I cannot fathom the pride that her parents must've felt watching their kid do something like this with a band like the Foo Fighters in front of a packed stadium.
