I can’t stop watching interviews of Dave and Taylor…such a beautiful duo…Dave always having his brother by his side in every talk show, interview or radio interview. They were each other’s OTHER HALF. I’m so heartbroken for Dave 😭
Grohl is not crazy, he has a heart of gold. He had the humility to think about what every person in that crowd did in order to make it to that concert. That’s not crazy, that’s love.
I jammed with a really famous rock drummer once in the studio (can't say who, sorry), and he told me all about that feeling. During a song, he broke a stick and accidentally shoved it through his hand - all the way through - in front of 20,000 people. He didn't describe his reaction in terms of how he felt, just what happened. He yanked it out, grabbed another stick, finished the song, and didn't feel a thing. He taped it up and played the rest of the show with blood splashed all over his drum heads and his forearm covered in blood, which the fans of his band probably thought was cool. He said the energy of playing stadiums and arenas in a major rock band (they were headlining the big stadiums) has a way of eliminating the self and you become part of the experience, not the one who's bringing the experience. The idea of breaking that connection was just unthinkable. He swore he felt no pain at all, and he'd had no drugs or alcohol. It feels like the same story Dave Grohl told in this clip. I play rock bass in bars, and my biggest audience has been maybe 2000 people, and I can relate to that feeling and that attitude, but I've never been so into it that I could have my hand impaled or break my leg and not feel it. But I know where that feeling comes from. A good rock show is far greater than the sum of its parts (musicians + audience). The audience feeds the musicians as much as the musicians feed the audience. It gets like a screaming locomotive. You can't stop it.

I once saw the Foo Fighters at the Continental Airlines Arena in 2003, maybe 2004. While there, Dave Grohl looked around at the audience and started talking to us. Out of nowhere, Dave asked the audience if we all thought drugs were cool. Naturally, people began to shout yes, and they cheered very loudly. After hearing the response, Dave came back in a semi-serious tone, and demanded of us 'don't do drugs, drugs aren't cool - look at me... I don't do drugs, and I just sold out the... uhh... (and looked around, unable to remember where he was) the super duper dome!' Absolutely hilarious. I don't remember the exchange word for word, but he definitely said that he sold out the super duper dome because he gave up drugs. Later that evening, Brian May and Roger Taylor of Queen came out to perform with the Foo Fighters. Dave decided to play drums and had Taylor sing because he said that his voice wasn't good enough to do Freddie Mercury justice. These guys are absolutely incredible in concert. There are very few bands that give better performances than the Foo Fighters, and one of those bands happens to be Queen. Granted, Freddie Mercury has been long gone, but to have the privilege of seeing two members of the greatest band of all time with one of the greatest bands of modern time together on stage was as good as it can get. Best concert ever. Thank you Dave, Taylor, Brian, and Roger. You guys made that an evening that I'll never forget for as long as I live.
Love the fact that Dave really cares about the 50,000 fans on how, every each one of them they made their way to the concert, through thick and thin. That is something we called respecting each other, even though you dont know them. Love you Dave and the Foo's!
And there was Chester, who broke His ankle while playing basketball a few hours before the show, came to thé hospital, and came back to play the whole Linkin Park show. What a legend.
Chino Moreno actually broke his foot this year during a show and shrugged it off like nothing ... he continued that show and the whole Deftones tour ... musicians like Dave and Chino are seriously inspiring and act just like someone with a fire burning in their heart for music would
Many people in Norway and Sweden don't like the host because instead of being this Letterman-esque TV personality with his own talk show and he'll let you know it, he's more of a guy making his guests do the talking while taking a backseat position. Personally i think this is the best format out of any talk show on TV and I'm just happy I understand what's being said no matter what language the episode is in.
I agree. The best talks on Skavlan are the ones where one guest starts asking their own questions to another guests. All of a sudden there's absolutely no script and things get so sincere and interesting.
I’m from Sweden and I’d say that everyone I know who has seen/watches Skavlan likes the host because he lets the guests talk and asks relevant and interesting questions. Personally, I like him.
I like that Skavlan lets his guests talk, and thats probably his best feature. He does however have a lot of other habits that a lot of people aren't fond of. Skavlan (the show) is better the less Skavlan (the guy) talks and involves himself. If you watch some of the more serious interviews, where people talk about serious, traumatic experiences, Skavlan has a tendency to hard transition to a super joyful happy topic in this very cold and unfeeling manner right as they've finished telling the story. He seems so cold and uncaring sometimes, and that's really offputting. So I like that Skavlan let's his guests talk the way he does, but that doesn't mean that I have to like Skavlan as a host in his entirety.
It doesn't make sense to not prefer this type of interviews. Isn't the whole point of an interview to learn more new/funny things about a person, and not fake a laugh about the same thing for the 1000th time?? Also the guests always seem more comfortable here and more open.
He was already a legend, a legend I was going to see next month. It became real when I got my tickets refunded. My heart goes out to his family, the Foo family, and fans.
Dave is the best fuckin' dude in the world! Plus thanks to Skavlan for this gorgeous interview and also for not cleaning all the beautiful rude words in it.
we dont have to censor words in sweden or in any other scandinavian country. It's fucking weird to censor words, everybody knows what cuss word they're using
ZibiaX the Swedish people are amazing. I'm Irish and in France for Euro 16 the Irish and Swedes were having a laugh, dancing in the streets and the French people even put on a party for us because our fans were well behaved and respectful. Unlike the English and the Polish and Russians who had UFC gloves on and gumshields just looking to fight. The Swedish people were amazing. Even the Icelandic people were amazing. As far as swearing I think it's a European thing. We are allowed to sweat like fuck on talk shows, quiz shows anything really. Nobody cares or gets offended. I think it's Americans who don't swear on TV. Despite that their whole country swears. Each to their own I guess. The Swedish are great people with beautiful woman!! And check out Gabriela Quevado. She's Swedish and plays guitar. She's amazing and done some Foo Fighters covers. That woman is an amazing guitar player!! Great story and all the best to all Swedish people from Ireland!! Hope to meet you again.
I just loved the joy on Dave's face when the host told him the doctor was there. The man helped Dave and the rest of the band finish what Grohl has called one of his best shows ever -- and you could see the appreciation for the doctor that helped him get back on stage.
That's because Bieber is a fucking pussy ass bitch, and Dave is practically a god. The best is still Freddie Mercury, literally on his deathbed with AIDS and was still an absolute badass
Its in swedish/norwegian usually they just switch to english for international guests. Most of the english speaking world dont like reading subtitles. In general alot of the guests are a mix of international and local scandinavians so half of the guests are not really interesting for british audience.
The brits have Graham Norton. And I find that, while the format being different of course, being the best talk show around. Skavlan is good, Norton is the best.
I love Dave his reaction when the docter comes in! He loves his audience and wanted to keep playing. And this man saved his leg during that show! Priceless!
Always love how humble Dave is. He not just play for 2 and a half hours after braking his leg. He receive that doctor as if it was a good old friend. He really loves and appreciate every person he encounters and worked with
He really has a gift for it. The contrast between him an Taylor (who is himself a really cool guy) is pretty stark. Dave is in his comfort zone entertaining with stories, Taylor wants a kit.
What a legend. He still gets that people paid hard earned money to see him & kept it going when everyone else would have understood if hadn't. I'm a huge fan now.
No. That's exactly the opposite of what "My Hero" is about. This guy is not ordinary. He's a REAL hero. You get the distinction? - I guess now you're going to argue while being in the wrong.

This interview is amazing! You are actually interested in someone's personality. No stupid games. More time with the guests. Genuine curiosity and a heartwarming surprise at the end. Please keep doing this. It is beautiful to watch!
I have to say, I was never into grunge and while I do enjoy some of the Foo Fighters' stuff, I wouldn't call myself a genuine fan. That said, David Ghrol is a effin national treasure! I knew that he broke his leg and finished the show but until now, I've always thought he did another twenty or thirty minutes. And while that's still very impressive, it blew my mind to find out that he actually played for more than two hours!!! The last time I got a papercut, I sat in a darkened room for two weeks, watching Netflix on low volume. The joy on his face when he found out the doctor was there and the way that he listened to him, with rapt attention. He seems like a genuinely cool guy.
I know what you mean, I wouldn't really say I'm a fan of Foo Fighters or Nirvana (though love his work in Probot and with Tenacious D). But the fact remains, he's a fantastic musician in general. I would say though, going on to perform a 2.5 hour set while your leg might fall off is probably not exactly wise lol.
I'd heard the story before but didn't realise it was right at the start. Excellent professionalism from DG to want to continue. Imagine that was Axl Rose? They'd still be waiting for the rescheduled show, no refunds!
I like to scroll through the comments on videos of Dave Grohl searching for 1 negative comment. It's a game I play and happily lose every time. EVERYONE loves him
Just see him jumping like a kid with his arms to the sky when he sees the doctor come on stage. This man really loves and cares about other people. There's no way he can let out so much love without some of it backfiring at him.
I was there standing almost by the stage when this happend. When it did happen, all of us was scared that he was dead or something, i thought it was some kind of joke, but it turned out to be one of the most epic concerts, Dave is a real rockstar
As a mountainbiker, the worst crashes are those where you can't tell it's going wrong. When practicing jumps, one of the most important parts is knowing early when you're not going to succeed because hitting the ground prepared to roll or slide is safer than hitting the ground with your bike but without control and having the bike slam you in the torso. When Dave tripped, he knew he couldn't regain control and avoid the edge, so took as much control of the fall as possible by jumping. Without the jump, he would have been going to hospital immediately.
In every interview I see, Dave Grohl is such a great story teller. Gees if there was ever someone you would invite to a dinner party or just for drinks at a pub. Perhaps the latter. He is such a genuine good bloke.
I love Dave so much, he is REAL. The look on his face at 11:00 is one of genuine surprise at hearing who is there. A truly class act, he even takes getting upstaged by his fans with humor and genuine affection. My bucket list dream is to get to a FF concert, and sing "My Hero" with Dave in tribute to my late father. I bet if I can indeed get there and get near the stage, Dave would make it happen. My health is declining though, so hopefully I can do it soon.
I would actually watch late night tv here in the states if we had someone driving like this show was. This was like sitting there with the gang and listening to a friend telling a story. Well done.
The fact that the hosts and the doctor speak great English and everyone in the audience understands is awesome. I mean, this is the Swedish national public TV. Scandinavian countries and their citizens´ level of English are just amazing...Probably very difficult to see this in other countries...In Spain this would be unthinkable...
It’s a really cool thing how English became the international language that everyone has to learn to communicate with other people. I’ve seen the craziest examples....like a Croatian and a Nigerian and a Kazakh all speaking English together because none of them speak any of the other’s active tongues. So weird, interesting, fascinating, and cool all at once. I feel quite lucky to have been born in an Anglophone country, because it naturally makes life a bit easier when I travel.
This is really sweet bc us swedes are kinda embarrassed at this level of english, we think the accent is horrible, haha, we want to sound american or british so we cringe when we see this. But nice to hear other countries are not as harsh towards us
I've always admired Dave Grohl--his music, his musicianship, and his great personality. If I'm in a bad mood or depressed, I'll watch a Dave Grohl interview.
Watching Dave's reaction to seeing the doctor in the studio reminds me of the time that kid with cerebral palsy surprised Mr. Rogers during some award presentation and how excited Mr. Rogers was, not about the award, but to see an old friend. Dave Grohl is rock and roll Mr. Rogers. He clearly just loves everybody. Edit: Jesus Christ, I posted this not too long before Taylor Hawkins' death. He was also one of the genuinely good guys of hard rock. I'm so upset that he's gone and I cannot believe a man so genuine and good as Dave Grohl is being forced to deal with ANOTHER loss of this magnitude. My heart is with the Hawkins family and with Taylor's band mates.
one time i was at a foo fighters concert in stockholm. the doctor was in the audience and dave yelled his name and gave him his guitar. one of the coolest things i’ve seen
Of course Dave has Paul’s number! They both are living legends, their bands have changed music history. I love how Dave always makes a point to say we are normal people we have normal life’s
This is my favorite interview, and I still can’t watch it without feeling hollow. BTW, I’m a 71 yr old woman who loves the FF and always thought there would be time to see them live. Don’t do what I did, go do what you want to do.
I was there. People started walking out when Tyler, Nate, Chris and Pat played the queen covers... Then Dave came out and rocked until late midnight. The day after people was angry and wanted their money back because they left before Dave came back out.... looooooosers!
how are they losers? i've seen the videos and Dave and the bandmates tell the audience that they weren't gonna finish and they would be back but that Taylor and the rest of the band would play other songs (not Foo Fighters) for the audience. I mean it makes sense why people left. They didn't know Dave was gonna come back lol
apples 88 There is Dave, lying on the floor with a broken leg, paramedics scrambling around to help him, and he is just concerned with the disappointment of his fans. A real fan, in that situation.. you stay, you support the band, and show respect for this great man. And, that is why the people who left, then complained about missing out, are losers.
Dave is an extremely lucky guy as he wasn't part of just one but two legendary bands who are now a big part of rock history. Who else has that kinda credentials on their resume?
Idc how many times i have watched and rewatched all of Dave Grohl's interviews they ALWAYS make me smile... Not gonna lie his optimism helps me everytime i forget how to feel anything .. Thank you for Dave... Thank you so much!!
I broke my leg similarly to the way Dave did. I don't know why it didn't hurt, but mine didn't hurt either. It was odd to look down and see your foot going one way, and your leg another. Have a dislocated ankle reset into the right position was really painful though for a moment. I admire him for playing the rest of the show with a broken leg! Wow!
The bone he described is most likely the Fibula. It's a thin bone and isn't too necessary for walking, so not a lot of pressure is put on it. Therefore it doesn't hurt that bad. Some animals fibulas just dissolve from underuse or are breed out entirely. Like with horses Edit: just checked another choice and it was his Fibula that was broken. And the break was near the bottom of the bone, so gravity helped keep it straighter then it would have been if the break was in the middle.
The fact that we will never see this duo again - never see these SOULMATES again - …… heartbreaking.

What a fcking awesome experience bro... Nice!
I 100% love that story. I read it 3 times. You made my day.
Yep. I'm more of a metal guy but I love the Foos. Great concerts.
That's because he actually gives a shit about the audience
I once saw the other band he played in during the 90's. What was that band's name? Oh, nevermind...
Love the fact that Dave really cares about the 50,000 fans on how, every each one of them they made their way to the concert, through thick and thin. That is something we called respecting each other, even though you dont know them. Love you Dave and the Foo's!
Any other band after a broken leg would have cancelled the show , this just shows you what kind of guy Dave Grohl is. What a class act.
adam cain it's not easy. Happened to me. Adrenaline gets you through it. You don't feel the pain as much.
And there was Chester, who broke His ankle while playing basketball a few hours before the show, came to thé hospital, and came back to play the whole Linkin Park show. What a legend.
Chino Moreno actually broke his foot this year during a show and shrugged it off like nothing ... he continued that show and the whole Deftones tour ... musicians like Dave and Chino are seriously inspiring and act just like someone with a fire burning in their heart for music would
Alsyn Chester broke his leg and we see where he is now. Legend! Oh wait.
yo harrison, what the fuck man?
This is a musician who truly cares about his fans. True class.
Grohl sees like one of those very genuine people.
He truly is! As much as he's worth and the fame he has, he's super down to earth and personable.
He's the Keanu reeves of music.
Graham Norton style
You know you’re winning in life when Dave Grohl is excited to see you
Why did I think this guy would live forever? RIP Taylor Hawkins, a legend ❤️❤️❤️❤️
He will live forever
He was already a legend, a legend I was going to see next month. It became real when I got my tickets refunded.
My heart goes out to his family, the Foo family, and fans.
Idk maybe cause Keith Richards at one point had more drugs going through him than through a mexican cartel and somehow lived.
His music and memories will
because legends never die
Dave is the best fuckin' dude in the world! Plus thanks to Skavlan for this gorgeous interview and also for not cleaning all the beautiful rude words in it.
we dont have to censor words in sweden or in any other scandinavian country. It's fucking weird to censor words, everybody knows what cuss word they're using
ZibiaX It's so god damned stupid! It's not gonna' kill the kids to hear swear words.
Best after me, but yes he is the second best!

The kind of man Grohl is: “I don’t care if I broke my leg. These people paid their hard earned money to see me. WE ARE CONTINUING THE CONCERT!”
i think if they didn't continue the concert the band would have had to pay their own hard earned money...
@@morg9267 They would reschedule or offer a refund but he didn't. He said we are playing...
Dedicated 💪💪💪
i know how that felt imagine if he had not gone into shock the decision would of gone very diferant i can tell you.
Bieber doesn't show up because he's playing a videogame. Dave breaks his leg and gets back on stage and they keep playing! DAVE IS AWESOME!!
That's because Bieber is a fucking pussy ass bitch, and Dave is practically a god. The best is still Freddie Mercury, literally on his deathbed with AIDS and was still an absolute badass

lol
The gum of destiny...
It's so true. XD
Ashierkun he comes off as a typical prime Donna in this. I don’t know if he is but it’s rubbed me the wrong way.
why isn' skavlan on british TV? It's the best talk show around. No stupidity - just good, quality chat.
Its in swedish/norwegian usually they just switch to english for international guests. Most of the english speaking world dont like reading subtitles. In general alot of the guests are a mix of international and local scandinavians so half of the guests are not really interesting for british audience.
He probably wouldn't want to, british media is know to tear people to shreds for the smallest thing, real or imagined.
The brits have Graham Norton. And I find that, while the format being different of course, being the best talk show around. Skavlan is good, Norton is the best.
@@Totto87 Agreed, although this guy usually has more interesting and varied guests
He really loves and appreciate every person he encounters and worked with
Dave is the funniest guy telling stories haha
th-cam.com/video/1EJM0dWtK4o/w-d-xo.html
i dont think so. Rampage starts at 3 2 1....
He really has a gift for it. The contrast between him an Taylor (who is himself a really cool guy) is pretty stark. Dave is in his comfort zone entertaining with stories, Taylor wants a kit.
nah corey taylor
What a legend. He still gets that people paid hard earned money to see him & kept it going when everyone else would have understood if hadn't. I'm a huge fan now.
Two things:
1) Dave Grohl is a music GOD!!
2) That Swedish doctor deserves to become a bit of a celebrity now. I hope it happens!
that moment of dave seeing the guy who held his leg for 2.5 hours and that feeling of seeing him again. watching that unfold is truly amazing
He held Dave's leg for 15 minutes until the cast was put on the leg; they played for 2.5 hours.
This doctor's the kinda person My Hero is written about.

Dave is going to be so lost without his soulmate, Taylor. It’s so sad.
That stadium has a capacity of 75.000 people, so continuing the concert meant they saved 75.000 x 2.5 hours = 21 years worth of everyone's free time.

Hey🌹, how you doing today ?
I like to scroll through the comments on videos of Dave Grohl searching for 1 negative comment. It's a game I play and happily lose every time. EVERYONE loves him
I thought I was the only one! 😁
Just see him jumping like a kid with his arms to the sky when he sees the doctor come on stage. This man really loves and cares about other people. There's no way he can let out so much love without some of it backfiring at him.
Dave should make his own podcast with all the stories so they'll never get lost. He's such a good story teller.
I still can’t believe Taylor’s gone. RIP.
Finishing a show after breaking your leg is perhaps the most metal thing ever. Dave, you rock.
I love Dave's reaction when the good doctor is introduced
I love LOVE how excited Dave got when he found out the doctor was there in the audience. Just a genuinely good dude.
The Doc must have gotten VIP passes to every Foo Fighters concert after this.
Love this interiew. Dave and Taylor are so cool.
I was there standing almost by the stage when this happend. When it did happen, all of us was scared that he was dead or something, i thought it was some kind of joke, but it turned out to be one of the most epic concerts, Dave is a real rockstar
I dont think the video does justice to how far he fell people die from much less falls
Without the jump, he would have been going to hospital immediately.
he had to sit there and hold his ankle for two hours. what a legend.
or you could say.... a leg end
He held Dave's leg for 15 minutes until the cast was put on the leg.
I got to about 25 concerts and festivals each year, nobody pulls off a long 3 1/2 hour show like the foo fighters much respect for the foos:)
Iron Maiden do though.
Bruce
"There was no pain."
The adrenaline from the shock probably hadn't worn off.
@Dave E Adrenaline is a hell of a drug.
Plus the adrenaline of playing to 75,000 people with your besties. Dude could have probably lifted a Buick if his leg had any stability to it, lol.
In every interview I see, Dave Grohl is such a great story teller. Gees if there was ever someone you would invite to a dinner party or just for drinks at a pub. Perhaps the latter. He is such a genuine good bloke.
Listen to his book, The Storyteller, on audible. It's thr only way to really read it.
I hope you’re doing well and that you get the chance to make this happen!
Tonight on air: The Foo Fighters and their Foot Fighter!

I would actually watch late night tv here in the states if we had someone driving like this show was. This was like sitting there with the gang and listening to a friend telling a story. Well done.
I just love how Dave was so excited to see the doctor again
I could listen to Dave's stories for hours. What a guy! ♡
Watched the whole thing just to see the look on Daves face when he's told the doctor has in the house. Wasn't disappointed.
They are a remarkable people. I deeply respect them.
This is really sweet bc us swedes are kinda embarrassed at this level of english, we think the accent is horrible, haha, we want to sound american or british so we cringe when we see this. But nice to hear other countries are not as harsh towards us
That 'as a patient, he was very impatient' wordplay was excellent.
Love the way Dave yells, "HEYYYY!" whenever he's surprised to see someone he evidently hasn't seen in awhile.
love the layout of the room, all chat shows should be like this, it looks so inviting everyone seems so relaxed
Skavlan knows when not to interrupt. That is a big asset.
Only Dave would be back on stage 15 minutes after breaking a leg..that's the class this man has
David is the epitome of a cool, humble rock star. I have so much respect and admiration for him.
Dave Grohl, in my opinion is one of the best examples of humanity.
The show must go on! Very gracious of Dave to continue his set. Foo Fighters rock!
Dave grohl Is an absolute legend playing for two and a half hours with a broken leg says a lot about the guy. Fair play dude
I can’t imagine the pain Dave Grohl is going through….I’m praying 🙏 for him, Taylor’s wife, children and family and the Foo Fighters family…❤️🙏
The thing about Dave is he isn’t arrogant and shows his true feelings his face. He genuinely loves people, I’d love to meet him.
I've always admired Dave Grohl--his music, his musicianship, and his great personality. If I'm in a bad mood or depressed, I'll watch a Dave Grohl interview.
Me too and funnywise a few weeks ago my psychiatrist asked me: "What is Dave Grohl up to these days?"
How did he know? 😅❤😂
Dave Grohl is definitely someone I'd like to meet. He seems like such a chill guy.
one time i was at a foo fighters concert in stockholm. the doctor was in the audience and dave yelled his name and gave him his guitar. one of the coolest things i’ve seen
Of course Dave has Paul’s number! They both are living legends, their bands have changed music history. I love how Dave always makes a point to say we are normal people we have normal life’s
I love that when the doctor comes out Dave just screams and he gives him a hughe hug
What a lovely moment, when Dave looks as him with such affection.
Lmfao. What was it like from your perspective?
how are they losers? i've seen the videos and Dave and the bandmates tell the audience that they weren't gonna finish and they would be back but that Taylor and the rest of the band would play other songs (not Foo Fighters) for the audience.
Serves them right
M. Hans Liebert Lol Support the band? The already paid the ticket price. That’s all the support they’re obligated to do.
You break your ankle and you decide to play for 2.5 hours more... that's why I love Dave

No joke, it's hard to not love Dave.
Two of the nicest guys you could ever hope to meet, so genuine. RIP Taylor 😞
I was there working for the supportband Ghost and I was so impressed by Dave! He made the day/evening awesome!
Dave is an extremely lucky guy as he wasn't part of just one but two legendary bands who are now a big part of rock history. Who else has that kinda credentials on their resume?
Paul McCartney.
I keep rewatching this because of Dave’s pure joy when seeing the doctor.
Dave is definitely one of, if not THE coolest guy in rock ever!
First time I’ve actually heard the full story about the broken leg. Dave Grohl is a true rock star and I hope he lives to be 100 years old!
Every day I wake up, glad that there is someone like Dave Grohl out there.

Idc how many times i have watched and rewatched all of Dave Grohl's interviews they ALWAYS make me smile... Not gonna lie his optimism helps me everytime i forget how to feel anything .. Thank you for Dave... Thank you so much!!
I totally agree with you!! Dave ALWAYS makes me smile!! He really is a very funny, happy and super kind rocker!!
It makes me so happy how excited Dave gets when the doctor comes out.
right!! such a pure reaction
dave: *broke his leg* there was no pain
me: *broke my wrist* literally ALL the hospital heard me scream of pain
unlike dave, you were hyped up on adrenaline
septicplier Loler it’s the other way around
I broke my leg similarly to the way Dave did. I don't know why it didn't hurt, but mine didn't hurt either. It was odd to look down and see your foot going one way, and your leg another. Have a dislocated ankle reset into the right position was really painful though for a moment. I admire him for playing the rest of the show with a broken leg! Wow!
I have also cut my knee badly, the deep wound, of 20 cm in length. No pain.
The bone he described is most likely the Fibula. It's a thin bone and isn't too necessary for walking, so not a lot of pressure is put on it. Therefore it doesn't hurt that bad. Some animals fibulas just dissolve from underuse or are breed out entirely. Like with horses
Edit: just checked another choice and it was his Fibula that was broken. And the break was near the bottom of the bone, so gravity helped keep it straighter then it would have been if the break was in the middle.
Skavlan, this show is class!!
Thank you so much, we truly appreciate it!
Many hosts could learn from this man
It's a high quality setup, stage and a solid host.
Talk about memorable! Good to see Dave reunited with the doctor from 1 of his shows
