U can use lasso to cut any thing in goodnotes app not in any other browser.. ..
And yes you can copy from kindle as well..

It's automatic.. After connecting pencil hand gesture doesn't work.. However there is a setting option too.

Brother goodnotes is made specially for apple devices.।
But there are also many others apps tantamount to goodnotes , u can use Microsoft, onenote, noteswriter (best one)

The pencil tip won't scratch the screen, but any dust/grit particles definitely will! And some dust on the screen is inevitable, so I'd highly suggest using some sort of protective layer if you want to save your screen in the long run.
