    What a history! Truly, the Lord continually moves here in Philippines as He moves and spreads all over the world. This is the fulfillment of Matthew 24:14. This will hasten the Lord's coming back. Hallelujah! I greet all the saints there in Cavite. The Lord be with our spirit. Grace be with us! Amen!

    My mind being now more open and enlarged, I began to read the Holy Scriptures upon my knees, laying aside all other books, and praying over, if possible, every line and word. This proved meat indeed, and drink indeed, to my soul. I daily received fresh life, light, and power from above.
    -George Whitefield (AD 1714-1770) Evangelist

    How blessed would the inner chamber be, what a power and an inspiration in our worship, if we only took God's Word as from Himself, turning it into prayer, and definitely expecting an answer. - Andrew Murray
    (AD 1828-1917) Christian Teacher

    Right on his face on the ground is Praying Hyde. This was his fav. attitude for prayer. Listen! He is praying; he utters a petition, and then waits; in a little time he repeats it, and then waits; and this many times until we feel that that petition has penetrated evry fibre of our being and we feel assured that God has heard and without doubt He will answer. "-John Hyde(AD 1865-1912) Christian Missionary

    How well I remember him praying that we might open our mouth wide that He might fill it (Psalms 81:10). I think he repeated the word "wide" scores of times with long pauses between. "Wide, Lord, wide, open wide, wide." How effectual it was to hear him address God, "O Father, Father! -John Hyde(AD 1865-1912) Christian Missionary

    I began therefore to meditate on the New Testament, from the beginning, early in the morning....When thus I have been for a while making confession or intercession or supplication, or have given thanks, I go on to the next words or verse, turning all, as I go on, into prayer for myself or others, as the Word may lead to it, but still continually keeping before me that food for my own soul as the object of my meditation. -George Müller (AD 1805-1898) Brethren Missionary

    It is a great thing to pray one's self into the spirit and marrow of the text; working into it by sacred feeding thereon, even as the worm bores its way into the kernel of the nut. Prayer supplies a leverage for the uplifting of ponderous truths.

    God's Word is the fuel of our prayer. As we open the page in the morning, the promises prompt us to prayer, the examples incite us to prayer, the warnings urge us to prayer, the hopes of glory stir us to prayer- everything in the portion taken for meditation can be turned into prayer....Depend on it, hiding God's Word in the heart is the secret of prayer, and the reason why our prayer-life is so weak and barren is that we do not know God through His Word.-W. H. Griffith Thomas (AD 1861-1924)

    It is also reasonable that the reading of the Holy Scripture be done with all prayer and groaning, as well as praise and thanksgiving. For this is the simple way, that at all times one would have his good edification.

    Here is one of the greatest secrets of prevailing prayer: To study the Word to find what God's will is as revealed there in the promises, and then simply take these promises and spread them out before God in prayer with the absolutely unwavering expectation that He will do what He has promised in His Word.
    - R. A. Torrey (AD 1856-1928) Evangelist

    "Praying the Scripture" is a unique way of dealing with the Scripture; it involves both reading and prayer....Be careful as you read. Take in fully, gently and carefully what you are reading. Taste it and digest it as you read. -Madame Guyon(AD 1647-1717)
    Christian Writer

    If we will take the words of God, i.e., His revealed truth, into our lips and eat it; that is, if we will dwell upon His words and say them over and over to ourselves, and thoroughly take in and assimilate their meaning in a common-sense sort of way, we shall find that our soul-life is fed and nourished by them, and is made strong and vigorous in consequence.
    -Hannah Whitall Smith (AD 1832-1911) Christian Writer

    [Luther] spent a part of almost every day reading the Psalms, with which he mingled his own supplications amid tears and groans.
    "It is very certain, that we cannot attain to the understanding of Scripture either by study or by the intellect. Your first duty is to begin by prayer."
    -Martin Luther (AD 1483-1546) Early Reformer

    And applying yourself thus to the divine study, seek aright, and with unwavering trust in God, the meaning of the holy Scriptures, which so many have missed. Be not satisfied with knocking and seeking; for prayer is of all things indispensable to the knowledge of the things of God. For to this the Saviour exhorted, and said not only, "Knock, and it shall be opened to you; and seek, and ye shall find," but also, "Ask, and it shall be given unto you."

    Prayer it is, when it is within the compass of God's word; and it is blasphemy, or at best vain babbling, when the petition is beside the book.

    The fact that someone apoligized doesn't mean that the group is not an un-Biblical cult. It doesn't have to do with whether the group has good people in it, but there is undeniable evidence of its cult practices that are dishonest and therefore un-Biblical.

    Study the Bible, dear brother, with prayer. Seek the Lord there, and not knowledge-that will come too; but the heart is well directed in seeking the Lord: the eye is single, and then the whole body is full of light.

    -I read that verse- "I will both lay me down in peace, and sleep; for Thou, Lord, only makest me dwell in safety;" [Psalms 4:8] and, with a loud cry of my heart, I cried out, O "in peace!" O for the self-same! O, what said he, "I will lay me down and sleep?" I read, and kindled...

    Also I have seen and read a lot of the websites you mentioned. But to me bigger evidence of un-Biblical teaching of the "local church" is personal experience with them as well. The people who join the "local church" mean well, but they are mislead and lied to.

    No, im not avoiding it. You are the one that avoided the fact. Did you read the book "The Experts spreaks" ? That book is concerning Duddy's claim. The 5 experts concluded the "book" authored by Neil Duddy is "libelous". So, the issue here is not about theology. Well, you still not get the whole story as well you are the one who avoided the argument.

  • @malupitkaba335
    @malupitkaba335  17 ปีที่แล้ว

    Did you know that duddy's claims are all false and unscholarly mispresented the facts? Have you read the book "The Experts Speaks". If ever you read that book, light will shine upon the truth regarding the book by duddy.Brother, read the whole story not a part of it. The truth will set you free.

  • @malupitkaba335
    @malupitkaba335  17 ปีที่แล้ว

    Regarding sueing duddy? Duddy's writing is libelous so he was sued. Its not a matter of theology, its a criminal offense. If your question is based from the book "God-Men" and pick some ideas there and throw it to me as your question. I have already answered that. READ THE BOOK ENTITLED "THE EXPERTS SPEAKS", there's the answer. I dont want to reiterate once more. Your basis of question from the book, i will considered it baseless for the book is full of LIES(JOHN 8:44).

  • @malupitkaba335
    @malupitkaba335  17 ปีที่แล้ว

    Who is now avoiding the issue?? No libelous accusation huh? Read this portion taken from contending for the faith websites.
    "Based on that evidence, Judge Seyranian found The God-Men to be "in all major respects false, defamatory and unprivileged, and, therefore, libelous."
    You better open your eyes and face the facts. The real issue here is not the Lord's Recovery. The real issue here is you. You have a big problem. May the Lord be merciful to us.

  • @malupitkaba335
    @malupitkaba335  17 ปีที่แล้ว

    Support your accusation with solid basis. As a matter of fact, you don't have any credentials to speak against the people in the local church. Did you hear about the people outside the local church commenting the practices and teaching of the local church? Did you meet the experts? contendingforthefaith-org

    His arguments is FALSE, UNFAIRLY, UNSCHOLARLY and FULL OF TWISTED THOUGHTS, taken OUT OF CONTEXT. That is the REAL UNCHRISTIAN AND UNBIBLICAL. Did you SEE that??? Did you?? Answer me pls. Dont conclude yet. Did you read the whole story? and by the way, Where is Neil Duddy now??

    I wonder we in the Philippines knew about what's happening in the Lord's Recovery, whereas you in the U.s. you dont know what's the real story. Brother, dont believe on hearsay. Seek the Truth. Its on the internet. ^_~
