Washington's first 2 picks last season were talented playmaking DBs. Their second rounder was a talented blitzing safety. Both were misused last year. Forbes could shine under Quinn.
Yea they were severely undercoached. The safety you're talking about Quan started to really show up later in the season, that kid is a stud.
Forbes couldn't shine is he was smothered in baby oil. They guy is terrible in coverage. They were frying him!

When EB coached the best young QB of this Generation all of a sudden that changed and now White Defensive coordinators are getting HC jobs again!! EB go to college dude the money is just as good be a leader of young men who will listen!!

I’m hoping EB stays on as oc. Not sure how they could’ve promoted him to head coach when he didn’t exactly elevate the offense. He wasn’t given a great hand but he didn’t over deliver either.

If we wanted a defensive HC Spags was infinitely better and more rootable schemewise and who he had with the Rams sucked, Dan Quinn had peak Matt Ryan. Dan Quinn does NOT remind me of WAS. He belongs to a franchise like the Colts, the Texans, the Cowboys, the Titans, some unga bunga franchise. He does not fit in WAS. This was a massive L. He's Caveman/Rivera 2.0 and he will be fired within 2-3 seasons if not sooner. History repeats itself.
He went to the SB with Shanahan calling the offense. His defense is what failed the falcons and his defense failed 3 weeks ago giving up 48 to the 7th seed. This was about the worst hire you could make from the fans perspective, he is Ron Rivera no matter how you spin it. Not to mention 7 other teams passed on him but were supposed to believe this was a good hire lmao

Defense was extremely young and the Offense didn't execute down the stretch of the game which put a huge strain on the defense.
Kyle Shanahan was their Offensive HC. you can ask the same question about him and look at how Kyle is running the team. He's in the Super Bowl
Defense was on the field for 90 Snaps in the second half they were Gassed. The offense should’ve ran the ball. They ran the ball 5 times the entire second half when they had 80 rushing yards in the the first half.

As a fan of this Washington franchise for 55 years. GET TWO PLAYERS…..Russell Wilson at QB….NO more experiments and he knows Russell from his time in Seattle 2013-14 and Micah Parsons his buddy in D. Draft 2 OL, LB and DB.

his #1 priority is finding the right offensive tree to pluck from...nothing else really matters at this point in the season...you want a tree you can pick from over and over again when you lose your OC...the way to ruin a qb is to give them a new offensive system every bloody year...Sam had 3 different systems in his last 3 seasons...you want your qb working on getting better not learning a new system every year.

Quinn did in fact make The Big Game with a Top 10 QB at that time with the Falcons & Matty Ice (Matt Ryan). Is D.C. going to trade up to get the No.1 Pick from the Bears to grab Caleb Williams -- is Williams the next Joe Burrow? It's anyone's guess. Don't get easily swayed by the "Heisman-winning" No.1 Pick, as we have witnessed how off-the-mark that can be, in reference to Bryce Young. Commanders should go after the best defensive player in the 2024 NFL Draft, the next Bosa, McDonald, Parsons.

Dan Orlovsky said that the Commanders have a "talented offensive line." 180 degrees wrong - it is terrible. Only Sam Cosmi, freshly moved inside to right guard, was any good.

EB had his offense leading the league in passing yards with a first year starter. It wasn't his fault the rest of the coaching staff sucked except for himself and Tavita Pritchard. EB should have been HC and Tavita promoted to OC. I'm fine with bringing in a college coach but he's not going to be better than Sam Howell. Caleb can't play in structure, Maye doesn't have his arm and Jayden will be broken in half. In fact, Jayden Williams will be a train wreck in the NFL. He moved up to 3rd round status because of the Heisman but he's a developmental player. DTR with the Bears is better.

As a cowboys fan im glad Dan Quinn is gone. He babies Micah too much and rests him like half the defense plays like he’s a old vet that needs rest to stay 100%. And couldn’t stop a runny nose. Let mid level RBs run the ball down their throats like they couldn’t stop them. This defense only looks good when they force turnovers but if they can’t get turnovers its easy to bully them.
