    I’ve been in the business for 16 years and I do have different techniques then him. I agree with most of what he says in the video. In my business we do it all by hand and color seal the grout a color the customer wants. Most of the time matching the color of tile and grout. I would like to reach out to him to see how he likes those machines. I’m here in Florida so no competition towards him. Great video don’t be embarrassed out your floors. They are all that way in the cleanest houses.

    • @Sacsurfacepro

      We do color seal at times also depending on the condition of the floor. If there is a bunch of staining in the grout, this is the best way to make an old floor look basically brand new or close to it.

    Went into a house to redo tub grout & caulk. The grout on the tile throughout the house(had all tile floors) was black. After redoing bathroom, showed homeowner that their grout is supposed to actually be a beige/tan color AND NOT black.....it was that DIRTY! with no sealer/sealant etc... Ended up cleaning it & sealed it & now looks beautiful (just need to remember that a sealer isn’t going to last forever.....will need to be reapplied every once in awhile to keep the grout sealed (water resistant)).

    He's basically using a whirlybird sidewalk cleaning pressure washer attachment, but with a vacuum port on it. When I pressure cleaned sidewalks or decks at my properties, I would rent those large pressure machines, with the Honda engine, and the whirlybird attachments with the pressure washer to do the sidewalks, but they don't have the vacuum attachments on them. Also we've used Stanley Steemer, who does similar to the carpet with their machine on grout as well, and it worked pretty good in one of my townhouse projects. They usually up-sell you when they are doing the carpets, they notice the tile and tell you about cleaning the tile and grout, so we haggle down the price.

    Awesome cleaning machine 👍

    • @mikeholm7640
      @mikeholm7640 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Yes it can be used on stone and even marble. The turbo hybrid tool he's using (around $1,000) has a brush ring attachment that won't damage marble. The trailer mount machine that has the pressure washer, heater, vacuum and tank is probably $15-20k though, and the turbo tool is pretty much worthless without that. (there are cheaper portable machines out there for several thousand but they're a pain to setup and unload and you can only use around 25-50 feet of hose for them still being effective. There are floor machines for honing and polishing marble that sometimes make more sense to use than the turbo tool. A tile and stone professional can look and see if your marble floor just needs a good cleaning or if it needs refinishing.

    Tile clean 🧼🥰 but the grout still looks dirty

    • @AnyHouseCleaning
      @AnyHouseCleaning 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      No. The grout is clean. You can't see it white because it is wet. You will see the final result when the tile and grout is really dry

  • @broderp
    @broderp 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    The pre-cleaning pray and scrub released a lot of dirt from the grout. The floor was actually dirtier due to this, The home owner thinking his floor was that dirty is not correct. The cleaning process made it dirty and the water and vacuum just picked it up.

    What PSI are you cleaning at?

  • @mikepeterson9542
    @mikepeterson9542 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    The pre spray and CRB did most of the cleaning. A wet vac could have done the rest.

    • @Sacsurfacepro
      @Sacsurfacepro ปีที่แล้ว

      The cleaner needs to loosen the soil and the CRB breaks it up leaving it ready to be extracted. Having heat, pressure, and suction for the last cleaning step ensures the floors are sanitized and left clean.

    Bleach, Palmolive, hot water and a brush. I got way better results and I didn’t even spend 40 bucks

      Yeah, but you probably labored for 2 hours doing it. Or you can pay someone else to do it for 40 bucks. It's just a matter of what you prefer. But either way somebody has to do the work.

    That’s also misleading though. You can wring out a dirty mop and see the dirt. He can come back in a month and you’ll see similar results depending on if you’re “picking up” the dirt when you clean

      nvm i found out, its a alkaline based cleaner with surfactant mixed into it. and they use crb machine to agitate the cleaner into the surface and then use a hot water pressure washer with vacuum extraction to remove the dirty material...

    • @olegster7110
      @olegster7110 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Not true. The vacuum pressure is not as powerful as you might think. The water pressure is anywhere around 700-900 psi which does not damage the grout.
